Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke (R) called the Biden administration allowing the Chinese to float a spy balloon into the United States’s airspace “an embarrassment.” “I think it’s an embarrassment that we took no action, not even diplomatically and say, you know, ‘Warning, warning warning, don’t do this. We’re gonna follow it,'” he told Breitbart News on Friday in an exclusive phone interview. “But just to have it drift up here, and for days loitering — I think it shows that we are ineffective,” he said. A senior defense official told reporters Thursday said the military considered shooting it down as it drifted over “sparsely populated areas in Montana,” but that, “we just couldn’t

The "we took no action" is Biden and General Milley, both Chinese appeasers. Democrats, not to worry. Biden and son's businesses with the Chinese are safe. Chinese money will continue to flow in. The FBI and CIA are rotten with spies and informers so, of course, no action will be taken.

There is no patriotism in this administration. All the democrats care about is the next election, in order to maintain power. Their goals are to eliminate Trump, and to scare the people into voting for them with things like climate change. These people are totally over employed. The whole democrat party is a cancer on our country.

S/O I bet your ENTERTAINMENT alphabet channels are not even telling you abt this). The admin KNEW this thing was coming for 3 months. They should have shot it down BEFORE it reached land or over Alaska Biden probably got paid to let this thing fly over Am as long as it wants. China probably paid biden to NOT shoot it down. THIS is how much biden cares abt Am and its people. He gets millions. Today he is going for a long weekend and our military will TRACK this thing and have a mtg next week to figure out what to do. Good job dems. They knew this thing was coming for 3 months. Could have shot it down over the water or Alaska. Joey never thought we would know. Wonder how many millions he got paid to destroy Am? In real life, in the real world, "taking down" this particular size of balloon at its particular cruising altitude is no job for a deer rifle OR a Raptor jet fighter. Ordinary munitions have proven ineffective against similar balloons. However... what about our decades-long defense research into directed-energy weapons, lasers, the like? Either we haven't tried everything in our arsenal or our arsenal needs some addition. Perhaps we _have_ tried and failed - surely that isn't the case though, our government is soooooo interested in keeping us informed of everything we need to know. (sarc off)

Biden’s remarks were scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and reporters were notified less than an hour before that they would need a “pre-credentialed” pass to attend the press conference. Biden’s team walked the press over to the South Court Auditorium, where the remarks were to be delivered, at approximately 1:50 p.m. When reporters entered the auditorium, White House staff approached every correspondent and pressed each of them to show an email containing a “pre-credential,”

NASA on Thursday confirmed that a loud boom heard over McAllen, Texas was the sound of a meteoroid entering the Earth's atmosphere, and breaking up as it scattered over the area. The rock was 2ft in diameter and weighed 1,000lbs, NASA said before it broke into small pieces and scattered across the area.  No damage was reported, but terrified locals assumed it was an earthquake and shared stories on social media of their homes shaking with the impact. NASA said that anyone who thinks they have found a fragment must contact the Smithsonian. They reassured people that the space rocks posed little threat to the public.
