A Chicago Girl Scout Troop on the northwest side of Chicago was the victim of a cookie theft over the weekend, after dozens of boxes of Thin Mints were reported stolen in broad daylight while the troop was working to sort through orders. According to officials, on Saturday afternoon, scouts aged 5 to 11 and parents from Troop 25778 were unloading and sorting cookies on pallets near 6160 W. Higgins Road. As the troop began to organize orders, an individual approached and grabbed boxes without paying, reports say. “We put the cookies on the sidewalk out in front, and then we started sorting,"

This is really sad. I wish I had some money I could spare. I would help at least a little bit. My mom was a cookie mom when I was in Girl Scouts and I remember how much of a project sorting the cookies could be. This cookie thief is beneath contempt.

When the Girl Scouts became a femi-Nazi, lesbian grooming, abortion propaganda, group a couple of decades ago, they lost all of my support. I used to buy at least a dozen boxes of cookies every year to support them, but I haven't bought a single box in many years now. That being said, I do hope they catch this guy and put him away for a long time. Stealing from kids is never right!!!!!

Re #8, speak for yourself. IMO, the Thin Mints are excellent....but still overpriced and supporting a group that I won't support. Aldis has a really super good cookie which is a dead ringer if anyone out there is suffering Thin Mint Withdrawal. I haven't bought them in a few year....so maybe I'm out of date, but they certainly used to carry them.

As much as I like Thin Mints I refuse to support Girl Scouts and its militant lesbian leadership in DC that supports abortion, I.e. butchering unborn children. The sight of the cute little girls selling cookies in the supermarket parking lot is completely incongruous with the hardened, humorless feminazis in DC leading the Girl Scouts.

The revelation that President Biden had stacks of classified documents stashed in his garage — alongside jugs of anti-freeze and piles of cleaning rags — comes as little surprise. For several years I have been working on a new book, “SpyFail,” that examines the collapse of the country’s counterintelligence and security operations. And by far, no administration has had a more disastrous record than those of Barack Obama and Biden. For years, insiders at the hyper-secret National Security Agency were able to walk out the door with more than half a billion pages of documents classified higher than top secret, some dealing with nuclear weapons

Donald Trump is not stupid. His opponents have always underestimated him because of the colloquial way he talks–sounding vastly different than most people in the highly educated class. Not sounding educated, they assume he isn’t and by extension isn’t smart. But in recent weeks Trump has been acting as if he is stupid, and I have to say I am surprised. Trump has been attacking Ron DeSantis on the COVID lockdown issue, arguing that the governor’s reputation as a freedom fighter is unearned. Trump even implies that DeSantis was something of a COVID fascist, while Trump himself was fighting to reopen the American economy. That is a profoundly stupid line of attack.
