A San Francisco court has released the shocking police bodycam footage showing the moment that Paul Pelosi was violently assaulted with a hammer in his home in October. Paul, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s husband, was asleep at the couple’s San Francisco home in the early hours of October 28 when 42-year-old David DePape broke in and beat him with a hammer, prosecutors allege. The release of the videos from the lethal arrest of Tyre Nichols, 29, is shocking for its lack of professional tactics and procedures. This looks like adrenaline-filled rage … from the officers. At certain points, it is the suspect who sounds to be trying to de-escalate the situation.
