Democrats and far-left green groups have set their sights on regulating a wide range of popular household appliances in a bid to push their broader electrification and climate agenda. The push to regulate everyday appliances — including water heaters, furnaces, clothes washers, dishwashers, ceiling fans, microwave ovens and shower heads — comes as the Biden administration and Democratic lawmakers continue to set lofty net-zero and climate goals for weaning off fossil fuel dependence. Environmentalists have argued that electrification, banning natural gas hookups and implementing strict energy efficiency standards could help accelerate emissions reductions. They need to control us, controlling the source of power is one aspect of their plan. Electricity can be turned off much easier than gas.

When every device we use in our homes from heating, cooking, lighting to charging our vehicle is based on electricity and we all have "smart meters" that monitor and control our use of electricity we best think twice about opposing anything the government in its wisdom institutes or proposes, Power failures may become more frequent for more homes. If you get my drift.

These bozos have already rendered many appliances pretty much useless. The quality of newer products, such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, etc,...is abysmal, some of which is attributable to idiotic regulations that have been slowly foisted on manufacturers in the name of saving the planet. So we the consumers are treated to buying brand new junk every few years, if that. Just about 20-30 years ago most of these products were still pretty decent. Forget about it now.

Let me see if I have this right - we have to get off of fossil fuels to save the planet which means anything requiring power has to use electricity which can't be generated by fossil fuels. Since our "savior's" can't figure out how to generate enough "clean" electricity the appliances we use must be regulated to the point that they are ineffective. At the same time we are all suppose to buy electric cars for which there is also not enough electricity (let alone tires - don't get me started on everything we use that is made from hydrocarbons, it is known as organic chemistry). Sounds like they don't know or care that the greatest reduction in CO2 levels in the US have occurred due to the use of US natural gas in place of coal. Now how in the world are these geniuses going to produce even 10% of the electricity required to allow for a standard of living above that of a cavemen without fossil fuels or nuclear power? I

For those of you who did not see the (very lightly distributed) news article, the 'Rats have already passed a law outlawing hydroflourocarbons -that is, all the refrigerants (the working fluid in all the refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners) currently in use. Not outlawed right away, but supposedly 'gradually' over the next 10 years or so. The difficulty is, of course, that no practical substitute has been discovered or invented so far. Yep, our Tax Dollars at work. Again.

Greenies actually are responsible for more environmental damage than any other group of people on the planet. Mercury in curly light bulbs anyone? How about the reusable grocery bags that they forced on the public? Remember the study done in Cali by a group wanting to know about how germy those things were? Turns out those bags the greenies pushed were so filthy that at least 70% of them could cause massive food poisoning among other things. Greenies are the most mentally illiterate people on the planet. Too much time on their hands. Like the old saying says, idle hands are the devil's workshop. That is the greenie movement in a nutshell.

Gas prices are continuing to rise to start 2023, and experts say prices are "unlikely to turn around any time soon." The current average for a regular gallon of gas $3.50, according to AAA. While it's nowhere near the record $5.01 reached in June, its far more than what the average was heading into New Year's Day and what prices were one year ago. Experts say it's possible the average price reaches $4 later this year. Here's what to know about gas prices heading into February: How much have gas prices risen? Gas prices had a steady decline following a

Davis is the communist who in August 1970 surreptitiously armed three murder defendants which led to a shootout with the police that left the judge and the three gunmen dead. Malcolm X was an ex-convict who once was the face of the Nation of Islam, a black supremacist church. When he left it, the church sent assassins who killed him.
