White House Pleads with Reporters to Avoid
‘Confrontation’ over Biden’s Possession
of Classified Documents

Original Article

The White House on Wednesday tried to ward off contention with reporters about documents found in President Joe Biden’s private office from when he was vice president. “Ed, we don’t need to have this. We work very well together. We don’t need to have this kind of confrontation,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during the daily briefing on Wednesday when reporter Ed O’Keefe pressed her for details on the news. Jean-Pierre had nothing new to share with the press on any further details of the classified documents found in the president’s old office.

As I understand it, the first batch of papers were discovered at a think tank associated with UPenn and the think tank was funded by none other than his good friends from China. About $54 million worth….now why would China or those acting on China’s behalf pay $54 million to fund a think tank for a former U.S. vice president?

I think about what we had to go through in the military to get a security clearance, Then we had to sign for any classified document we handled (we were responsible for not allowing it be read by others while in our possession, and for returning it to the person who had ultimate responsibility for classified documents in our unit). Its hard to fathom how FBJ could get away with being so cavalier with these documents, assuming cavalier was ALL it was. We lived by the axiom that 2 things were career-enders for an officer: 1: losing a weapon or 2: losing a classified document. I'm sure the documents we dealt with were nothing compared to the documents the President and VP handle.

President Joe Biden in 2016 admitted that his son, Hunter Biden, had access to his Delaware garage, where stashed classified documents were unearthed by the president’s attorney on Thursday. Joe Biden revealed on the “Jay Leno’s Garage” show that his sons Hunter and Beau had access to his garage to restore the infamous green Corvette, a video uploaded to YouTube dated October 26, 2016, revealed. “My two sons, Beau, who passed away, and my son Hunter decided as a Christmas gift to have the engine rebuilt for me,” he explained to Jay Leno. October of 2016 is just months before then-Vice President Joe Biden left the White House and allegedly stole classified documents.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy went on a rant Thursday when asked about the differences between the Trump and Biden document dramas — and rightly so. The idea that President Joe Biden’s case is entirely different from ex-President Donald Trump’s is the media’s first line of defense for the current prez. And yes, lots of details differ. But, as McCarthy noted, many of them make Biden look worse. The speaker’s demolition of the apples-to-apples critique was a powerful performance, slicing all the issues expertly.

It’s starting to get hard to keep up with all the classified documents that Joe Biden has left strewn all over the place. I wanted to clarify the alleged timing of the various finds. As we have already reported there was the cache that was found at the Penn Biden Center, locked in a closet by the personal attorney who just happened to be clearing out Biden’s old office. Then there was a second set that we reported on earlier, which was found in his garage, near his Corvette. That’s the one that Biden commented on and said they were safe because they were kept in the locked garage near his Corvette.
