Within 24 hours of the public learning of the existence of a second trove of classified documents stolen from the White House by Joe Biden, this time in his Delaware garage, AG Merrick Garland disposed of a hot potato by appointing Robert Hur, a DC Lawyer and former US Attorney for Maryland as special counsel.
The approved narrative is already emphasizing that he was a Trump appointee but will not mention that presidents usually nominate candidates recommended by a state’s senators, in Hur’s case, liberal Democrats Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen in 2018.

Merrick Garland: the last bastion of honor and justice.
(My thinking is, if he can plant evidence, he can unplant it, too)

When Merrick investigates Hillary's servers I might pay attention. Joe's got the pardon pen after all.

Garland is totally corrupt. Not an honest bone in his body. Hur is an obvious puppet who will do what’s told.

OK, Mr. Hur - - (By the way is "hur" one of your pronouns?) - -
Where were the top secret documents from the time Despicable Joe left office in January 2017 until the Penn Biden Chinese Money Laundry opened up in 2018? Where were they for more than one year - - and how did they get to the Biden Chinese Laundry? Who took them from where they were - - who packed them - - who transported them - - and who unpacked them?
Please get back to me - - when you have those answers

I think it is highly likely that Garland raided President Trump's home in Florida to provide covered for the planned announcement of Biden's illegal handing of classified documents.

I think he did this to protect Biden. Now house Republicans can't investigate Biden due to an ongoing investigation.

What a darn waste of our money. If Garland would just admit that he was wrong in his actions against Trump. And then say that Biden should be more careful going forward with classified material. He could follow up with a list what actions he going to take the future to insure the security of these many documents. This would settle this urinating contest.

At the very most, Senile Joe bidet will get a very light tap on the hand and promise to do better. All will be forgiven and forgotten as they continue to attack President Trump for something similar (only he didn't do anything legally wrong).
More than likely, Soros will pay off some low-level peons to take the blame and totally exonerate bidet. Forgiven and forgotten like that!!!

Robert Hur was Rob Rosenstein's assistant as they knowingly hid their knowledge of the Steele dossier fraud from the FISA judges enabling the Mueller investigation to illegally proceed. He is as deep state as it gets.

Garland has to do something, this is getting really bad for this administration and given Garland's bias against Trump and the raid on his home, Garland is looking the fool right now. Garland is going to protect himself at all costs.

Now, when a House committee calls a government witness, they can say that they can't answer because the Special Counsel is investigating.

I'm with PismoPat (#29).
The Democ'RATS will ride this 'ThreeBlindMice' 'investigation' for the rest of The HairSniffer's term, and as Pismo said, use it to refuse to answer ANY questions so as to 'Not Interfere with the Federal Investigation". As The HairSniffer shuffles off the stage for the last time, this 'special prosecutor' will announce "Decline to Prosecute", will seal all the records for 50 years, and then head for a long vacation in Hawaii.

McQuade says she thinks Hur’s appointment means it’s more likely that Trump will be charged.
Interesting that Carville is out predicting that Trump will be indicted too. So, something nefarious is likely in the works, as per usual. Isn’t the bottom line always about Trump with these people?
