Roughly one month ago, the White House answered one question we’ve been hammering them about for more than a year. Joe Biden drained nearly 200 million barrels of oil out of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in a failed effort to keep gas prices low ahead of the midterm elections. Was he ever planning on replacing that oil? And how much would it cost if he does?
At the time, Biden was saying that he would place the first order for three million barrels of oil for the SPR in February. That doesn’t happen overnight, so they opened up the process to take bids from the oil companies. As you would expect,

The White House refuses to comment or provide clarity on President Joe Biden’s remark to a Salvation Army official in El Paso this past weekend — that he spent time with the Secret Service in Poland and Ukraine.
The White House did not respond to Breitbart News’s request for comment about what specifically Biden was referencing.
A hot mic moment unearthed by the Republican National Committee’s research team revealed Biden told the Salvation Army official that he spent time with the Secret Service in Poland and Ukraine.
Biden, who visited the El Paso County Migrant Services Center on Sunday, spoke to a Salvation Army official during his inspection of the facility.

Jeffries’ favorability among the Democrats’ intersection coalition was quite low. Among independents, Jeffries held a 16-point favorability. That number only increased to 22 percent among black voters and 20 percent among Hispanics. Only 19 percent of respondents younger than 30 viewed Jeffries favorably. In fact, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai, just two weeks ago, pushed back against claims made by the World Trade Organization that the Trump-era tariffs violated international trade rules: The WTO is on “very, very thin ice.”
President Biden has, time and time again, skirted the issue of tariffs. Instead, he has opted to quietly continue his predecessor’s America-first

A little-noticed bill passed before Christmas shows that the U.S. Senate knows Nancy Pelosi had more to do with the U.S. Capitol breach on January 6, 2021, than anything President Trump did that day. Indeed, Nancy Pelosi could be crowned Queen of the Mob, since her actions led to the crashing of the perimeter fences, general dysfunction, and deaths of Trump supporters that day.
Even after the one-sided January 6 Committee left Pelosi’s role on the cutting room floor, there’s one inescapable conclusion: If she’d done her job, there would have been no riot, no deaths of Trump supporters, no show trials,

A special grand jury in Georgia that has been investigating former President Donald Trump and others for possible crimes related to their efforts to reverse his 2020 election loss in that state has completed its work, according to a court filing.
The end of the state grand jury's work eight months after its members were seated means it will now be up to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to decide whether to file criminal charges in the case. The grand jury, which has been gathering evidence and hearing testimony in Atlanta, has written a final report on its findings.

Does “disinformation” on the Internet actually do anything — even to persuade? When the freak-out over Russia-generated Facebook and Twitter memes began in late 2016, I repeatedly asked one basic question: where is the evidence that these campaigns changed even one single vote?
The answer: No such evidence exists. The memes of Hillary Clinton fighting Jesus turned out not to be game-changers after all, a new study reported by the Washington Post concludes. Voters made up their own minds independent of such trollery, as anyone with two functioning brain cells should have realized before and since:
Russian influence operations on Twitter in the 2016 presidential election reached relatively few users, most

Sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is hosting etiquette classes for inmates at her Florida prison as she tries to reinvent herself as a female role model, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The disgraced socialite, 52, is serving a 20-year sentence for procuring girls for her late pedophile lover Jeffrey Epstein to degrade and abuse.
But that hasn't stopped Maxwell from preaching about women's empowerment and the need to 'maintain high moral standards' in the twice-weekly sessions for up to 40 cons.

Nate Thayer, a risk-taking, publicity-drawing journalist whose career was capped by an exclusive jungle interview in Cambodia with Pol Pot, the leader of one of the worst convulsions of mass killing of the last century, has died at his home in East Falmouth, Mass. He was 62.
His body was found on Tuesday, but it was not clear precisely when he had died, his brother, Robert Thayer, said. He said his brother had long struggled with multiple ailments.
Mr. Thayer interviewed Pol Pot in October 1997 after months of clandestine meetings with Khmer Rouge guerrillas, whom Pol Pot led. After crossing the border from Thailand,

As I’ve said in the past, I’ve never been a fan of the silliness of labeling political opponents. This is not to be confused with humorous “nicknames” — the most clever of which I enjoy, and have coined a few — but rather attempting to paint an adversary into a particular corner defined by you. Third-party “you,” that is. And of course, the most popular label by far among certain factions of the Republican Party is “RINO.”
The definition of “RINO” — Republican in Name Only — not only used to be easy to understand; it was easy to identify Republicans who fit the RINO mold. In the 1990s,

Former President Donald Trump's Facebook ban may finally be lifted after two years.
CBS News reported Friday that Meta is considering allowing Trump to return to the platform. He was originally suspended after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Hill Riot.
At the time, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg claimed that Trump provoked “violence,” when the former president actually told his supporters to “stay peaceful.” Facebook’s Oversight Board upheld the ban in May 2021.
Trump stated on his platform Truth Social a day before the CBS News report that "[m]aybe [Meta’s] first step should be to get away from the ridiculous change in name to Meta, and go back to 'Facebook.’”

President Joe Biden tweeted an image of his first-ever border visit Sunday that featured part of the “wall,” or border fence, in El Paso, Texas — after he and his party shut down President Donald Trump’s border wall.
Biden ran in 2020 on a promise to build “not another foot” of Trump’s border project after Democrats refused to fund it in 2019 and claimed that it was motivated by racism and the desire to keep brown or black people out.
As soon as he took office, Biden halted construction of the high bollard fencing that Trump had been building along the wall — though the Biden administration later quietly

Americans are obliged to help bring more foreigners into their American society, White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters in a briefing ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Mexico’s president on Monday and Tuesday.
“You can’t forget that … we do, as a nation of immigrants, have an obligation to provide better tools and pathways for them to come in,” Kirby told reporters in the White House. The “Nation of Immigrants” narrative was invented in the 1950s by advocates for more migration. Biden and his deputies are pushing that claim to justify their importation of more illegal migrants above the limits set by Congress.

The subcommittee was the subject of negotiations between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the GOP holdouts who initially opposed his bid for the speakership. Representative Chip Roy (R., Texas), one of McCarthy’s detractors in many early rounds of voting for the speakership, told Fox News

There is nothing so unnerving as government-initiated election fraud, perpetrated by both political parties, hiding in plain sight. (snip) The hard part is creating people and addresses — it is an industrial-scale operation. (snip) You need to create those voters — the way the pros do — which leaves out the Republicans. Make it government work.
Here's how it's done.Arizona, a state with a Republican governor and Republican legislature at the time, has a nice little law to help out. Go look this baby up.

Over the coming weeks, a new band of Republicans will announce themselves as candidates in the next presidential race. The frontrunners will be scrappy populists. Today’s most successful center-right politicians are not only champions of the common man but energetic opponents of the idea that our society needs reordering by credentialed authorities.
Ron DeSantis grew up in a blue-collar family, worked his way into Yale with his brains and baseball talent, then went home and built a political career on the idea that “people are able to make decisions on their own.” Florida’s navigation of the COVID crisis, says the governor, established “a blueprint for governance” that rebukes “the entrenched elites”

The frail, mentally incompetent 80-year-old President of the United States wants to serve in the most demanding position in the world for another six years. Unfortunately, this is no joke, as Biden administration insiders are reporting that the President is preparing to soon announce his re-election campaign kickoff. Having President Joe Biden even entertain such a possibility is pure lunacy. Biden is certainly mentally incompetent, and his faculties are in serious decline. For years, Americans have witnessed his never-ending gaffes and his propensity for forgetfulness. Often, he even has difficulty exiting the stage after a speech.

Watching the political Establishment freak out over twenty Republican members of Congress voting their own consciences in the election for House speaker has been hilarious. Karl Rove, Dan Crenshaw, Sean Hannity, and just about anyone else whose sinecure and preeminence depend upon religious devotion to Washington's status quo sounded like little Greta Thunberg whining, "How dare they!" Oh, my goodness, some congressional representatives took it upon themselves to vote as they believe their district constituents would desire and not as the Uniparty nobles who insist on ruling the nation from their petty thrones demand.

At a briefing last week, a daring reporter asked President Joe Biden why he decided to visit the border now, after Republicans have been calling for him to do so for nearly two years – during which time an unprecedented 4.4 million people crossed the border illegally.
Biden’s answer: “Because the Republicans haven’t been serious about this at all. Come on. They haven’t been serious about this at all.”
That answer makes no sense. If Republicans haven’t been serious – which is a bald-faced lie – then wouldn’t that be more of an incentive for Biden to take the reins?
But nothing Biden is saying lately about the border makes sense.

Prince Harry has hinted that he and his wife, Meghan Markle will never give up their royal titles, while brazenly asking 'what difference it would make'.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping away from the monarchy and moving to America in early 2020 - many people called for them to give up their royal titles.
Those cries have become increasingly louder in the years since, during which Harry and Meghan have both launched multiple attacks on the royal family, beginning with their incendiary Oprah interview - and continuing with further TV appearances, a Netflix documentary, and the release of Harry's bombshell memoir,

As Democrats and their corporate media allies have been gearing up for the inevitable defense of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter during the new Congress, incoming House Oversight Committee chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) made one point abundantly clear, Sunday, “We’re not investigating Hunter Biden. We’re investigating Joe Biden.” (Video) Republicans are officially in charge of the House of Representatives, have elected a speaker and are set to proceed with promised investigations this week. As such, NBC’s Chuck Todd framed the inevitable efforts as partisan when Comer joined him on “Meet the Press” Sunday morning.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Sunday condemned House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (R-CA) plans to kick her off the House Foreign Affairs Committee as hypocritical.
Omar was asked about McCarthy's repeated promises to yank her committee assignments during an appearance on MSNBC's Yasmin Vossoughian Reports. The progressive lawmaker was specifically questioned about if there were any developments on the matter in the days since McCarthy had secured the speaker's gavel. "I have not [received any updates]," Omar said. "It’s my understanding that we obviously have to get the rules package done. Hopefully, Monday when we reconvene, that is on top of the agenda,

During his homily at the Mass, the pontiff thanked the parents for bringing their children to be baptized, while urging them to stay especially close to the Virgin Mary.
“Pray also to Our Lady, who is the Mother, who is our Mother,” he declared. “It is said that when someone is angry with the Lord, or has moved away, Our Lady is always close to facilitate his return.”

Frank Thompson, 57, an art teacher at Roosevelt Intermediate School, was found unconscious and unresponsive by a school resource in a second-floor classroom after 9:00 a.m. on November 29, according to the Westfield Police Department.
Before the officer arrived, students noticed Thompson was in distress, and a school nurse was treating him.
The officer noticed signs that Thompson was experiencing a drug overdose and administered naloxone hydrochloride, also known as Narcan, which he carries on him. The teacher then started showing signs of improvement.
