Will Jordan Peterson Lose His License

Original Article

Have you seen the “men will literally do X instead of going to therapy” meme? (Snip) Canada’s most famous public intellectual, Jordan Peterson, brought that meme to real life this week when he announced he’d rather never work again than be forced onto the couch. I don’t blame him. The College of Psychologists of Ontario has told Peterson that if he doesn’t go to therapy—sorry, a board-mandated “Coaching Program” with a board-issued therapist—it may revoke his license to practice psychology. What warranted this ultimatum? A few tweets and a podcast. According to Peterson, about “a dozen people” from around the world complained to the college

Comments:

Jordan Peterson has enough money to kiss those folks goodbye and good riddance.

According to Peterson, about “a dozen people” from around the world complained to the college about comments he had made on Twitter and on Joe Rogan’s podcast, claiming that those statements had caused “harm.” The seditionist in me says if that's the metric, all free thinking people in the world should crash The College of Psychologists of Ontario email system with complains against the board members and their "board-issued therapist" and the next, and the next. Remember, the complaints don't have to be major, or even substantive. Only that they cause "harm". I, personally, self-identify as deeply, deeply distressed by the boards action. And don't think of denying my "lived reality". Stop the Hate...

I am sorry. I don’t advocate violence but that may now be the only solution to this woke madness. Red states becoming autonomous and certain conservative Canadian provinces also seceding from Fidel Trudeau’s Marxist dictatorship.

It would be fantastic if Peterson stipulated that his "Coaching Program" with the re-education therapist would be offered as pay-per-view for the edification of the general public. He could easily sell the idea to the prigs at the College of Psychologists of Ontario by offering a world-wide audience for their all important message. The reality would be a public enlightenment that would be second only to the Second Coming. Please God, make it so!

I recall that Galileo was placed under “house arrest” by a Dogmatic controlling group fearful that new thoughts could rock their foundation of belief. People with a similar mindset and a determination to gag any opposing political thought now have Canada under their thumb. Unscrupulous politicians in America will seek to CONTINUE to sidestep the First Amendment here and censor what Americans can see and hear. Stop them or they will surely stop you. There is nobody in white hats riding to our rescue. WE RESCUE OURSELVES or WE FALL,

Elon Musk is transforming Twitter from a government censorship bureau into a powerhouse of investigative journalism. The Biden Junta doesn’t like it. Musk’s tweet of “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci” drew a furious reaction from White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who said criticizing Dr. Fauci was “dangerous,” “disgusting” and “divorced from reality.” Musk didn’t think so, and started digging deeper. On December 28, Musk tweeted, “Almost no one seems to realize that the head of bioethics at NIH – the person who is supposed to make sure that Fauci behaves ethically – is his wife.” That would be National Institutes of Health bioethics boss Christine Grady.

Mystery of why Roman buildings have survived
so long has been unraveled, scientists say

The majestic structures of ancient Rome have survived for millennia — a testament to the ingenuity of Roman engineers, who perfected the use of concrete. But how did their construction materials help keep colossal buildings like the Pantheon (which has the world's largest unreinforced dome) and the Colosseum standing for more than 2,000 years? Roman concrete, in many cases, has proven to be longer-lasting than its modern equivalent, which can deteriorate within decades. Now, scientists behind a new study say they have uncovered the mystery ingredient that allowed the Romans to make their construction material so durable and build elaborate structures in challenging places such as docks, sewers and earthquake zones.

You could see it operating yesterday. The once hopeful, now useless Dan Crenshaw, used it against his own party, “terrorists”, “seditionists”. It’s so basic as to be nauseating, insulting to your intelligence. Political enemy? “Terrorist”. “Insurrectionist”. “Saboteur”. They all use the process I am about to describe. Invented in some behaviourist hell-hole at a multinational and consecrated by Klaus and Justin and all the evil little Ivy League demons in government, it is used against their bosses, their employers, the people. This is how it happened.

Consumers can take a lot, but when you start raising prices on staples like eggs and milk, a definite din begins to rise from the streets. (Snip) Thus ensued an excited conversation between shoppers and the employee posting the new sign that read "$5.49" for a dozen large eggs. That's up from an average national price of $1.72 less than a year ago. The reason eggs are so pricey appears, at face value, to be simple supply and demand: "Millions of birds died. Eggs now cost nearly 50% more." A recent article in Bay Nature magazine is titled "The Latest Bird Flu Pandemic Is Terrible—and Strange."

Asking an Asian person for math help is a microaggression. Reverse racism does not exist. Men can get pregnant. Those are just a few of the lessons imparted to government workers in diversity trainings and presentations in 2021, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal editorial page. The materials, summarized in a December 30 editorial, show how once-fringe ideas have saturated the federal bureaucracy, from the Department of Veterans Affairs to NASA and the military. One NASA training states that efforts to be colorblind "actually limit us." Another identifies the words "America is a melting pot" and "don't you want a family?" as "microaggressions,"

(Snip) Consistent with a prior Zogby survey, Rasmussen found seventy-one percent (71%) say they have received a COVID-19 vaccination, while 26% have not. Concerns about vaccine safety are much higher among the unvaccinated. However the vaccinated appear to be waking up to the harms of the shots. Among the vaccinated, many of whom pushed the COVID-19 shots on family members or in the workplace, now 38% consider unexplained deaths from the vaccine at least somewhat likely.

Happy New Year’s Eve! As I sat down to start writing, I reflected on my long, strange journey from unassuming small-town lawyer to freedom-activist blogger. (Snip) In 1984, President Ronald Reagan posthumously awarded Whitaker Chambers (1902-1964) the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Chambers had died twenty years earlier, after testifying in Congress against State Department official and treasonous Soviet spy Alger Hiss, who’d drafted the United Nations Charter allegedly on the United States’ behalf at Yalta. Until 1938, Chambers ran a U.S.-based spy ring for the Soviet communists. (Snip) But he defected in 1938, having grown increasingly uncomfortable with Stalin’s internal purges, and having found God.

A health expert has sharply criticized the Chinese regime’s lifting of international travel restrictions in the midst of a massive COVID wave sweeping through the country, saying the move is “extremely irresponsible” and could cause a global resurgence of the pandemic. The National Health Commission announced on Dec. 26 that the country would end all quarantine requirements for inbound travelers from Jan. 8, 2023. Travelers will need to obtain a negative PCR test within 48 hours of departure, it said. Currently, travelers entering China need to undergo five days of mandatory quarantine in an approved facility, followed by three days at home.

Two hundred and thirty-one years ago this month, America's founders enshrined free speech as the first protection in the ratified Bill of Rights with a declaration that the government could not infringe expression. A series of blockbuster revelations at the end of 2022 show just how imperiled those protections have become in the era of Big Tech. From Elon Musk’s "Twitter files" to an FBI agent's candid testimony, Americans have gotten a glimpse into a once-hidden enterprise where federal agencies pressured social media platforms – directly and through proxies – to censor content under their terms of service. The goal, it appears, was to preserve the ruling elite's favored narratives

To hear these, compared to everything else makes me ask if this was the pinnacle of human musical achievement? Will there ever be anything greater? An argument can be made for it at least this far. This oratorio, after all, is touched by eternity.

Jill Biden had three lesions removed on Wednesday during outpatient surgery at Walter Reed National Military Hospital - with at least two of them determined to be cancerous.  The first lady had gone in for a procedure to remove a lesion from above her right eye, which White House Dr. Kevin O'Connor said was confirmed to be basal cell carcinoma.  Doctors also excised a lesion from her left eyelid and sent it in for microscopic examination to determine if it was cancerous. They also found a lesion on her chest, which appeared to be basal cell carcinoma, and doctors extracted. They later confirmed it was that type of skin cancer.

With the reported discovery of a second batch of highly classified documents connected to President Biden, the decisions of Attorney General Merrick Garland are fast moving from the inexplicable to incomprehensible. Garland was presumably briefed that classified documents were discovered in Joe Biden’s old office on Nov. 2. He also presumably knew about the Biden documents when he appointed a special counsel to investigate the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago 16 days later. At the time of the appointment of Jack Smith, some of us noted the inexplicable refusal of Garland to appoint a special counsel to look into alleged Biden influence peddling and other crimes.
