Hackers obtained the email addresses of more than 235 million Twitter users and published them on an internet forum, according to a cybersecurity expert. The breach “will unfortunately lead to a lot of hacking, targeted phishing and doxxing,” Alon Gal, co-founder of Israeli cybersecurity-monitoring firm Hudson Rock, wrote on LinkedIn. On his LinkedIn page, Gal — who called the breach “one of the most significant leaks I’ve seen” — posted screenshots of the hacked email addresses that he found on the dark web. “This database is going to be used by hackers, political hacktivists and of course governments to harm our privacy even further,” Gal told the Washington Post. No worries. Fakebook and Google sold your e-mail addresses a long time ago. That's why we all get the daily bombardment of e-mails from everybody in the civilized world and Nigeria. I must have won that $26 Million USD a dozen times but Doctor James Thomas is still trying to give it to me, minus the transfer fee, of course.

Not "Hacked" merely taken, stashed, and released by a Twit, likely one recently fired by Musk or one who quit. Sort of like the DNC emails, Hunters laptop, Julian Assanges stuff...None "Hacked". Insiders with known access took it an published it.

Here's the Problem With Mike Rogers 'Lunging'
at Matt Gaetz on the House Floor

In the midst of the battle over Kevin McCarthy becoming Speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Rogers set newsrooms ablaze by “lunging” at Rep. Matt Gaetz. At the time, Gaetz and others had just finished securing major concessions from McCarthy, and one ballot later, the deal would finally be sealed. On the prior ballot, though, Rogers, who is set to chair the Armed Services Committee, was apparently angered by Gaetz voting present and chose to lash out. Because Gaetz was on the receiving end of the rage, the press largely took Rogers’ side, exuding a “serves him right” attitude about the ordeal. That’s not a shock given the press
Appeals court blocks bump stock ban 5 replies

During the Trump administration, a ban on bump stocks was passed in the wake of the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas. That law has been the target of multiple challenges, almost all from gun rights groups. On Friday, a federal appeals court in Louisiana struck down the law, finding that under the plain language of the Gun Control Act and National Firearms Act, a bump stock “is excluded from the technical definition of ‘machinegun’ as defined” in those statutes. The BATFE and the Biden administration disagree and are fighting to keep the ban in place. This ruling does not mean that the ban is now lifted.

Rio de Janeiro - Supporters of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro who refuse to accept his electoral defeat stormed Congress, the Supreme Court and presidential palace in the capital Sunday, just a week after the inauguration of his leftist rival, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Thousands of demonstrators bypassed security barricades, climbed on the roofs, broke windows and invaded all three buildings, which are connected through the vast Three Powers square in Brasilia. Some are calling for a military intervention to restore the far-right Bolsonaro to power. Images on TV channel Globo News showed protesters roaming the presidential palace, many of them wearing green and yellow

A pro-life pregnancy center network is taking matters into its own hands and hiring private investigators to find pro-abortion terrorists who attacked its medical office, claiming that the FBI is “slow-walking” its probe, which has not resulted in any arrests. CompassCare is partnering with the Thomas More Society, a nonprofit law firm fighting for religious liberty, to hire private investigators to find the perpetrators on its own terms and timeline. “After talking with our investigators so far, they’ve already provided very valuable insight that we didn’t know. And they do have a track record of identifying terrorists both internationally and domestically,”

This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me!” Hamlin, the 24-year-old safety for the Bills, suffered cardiac arrest when he was hit during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, prompting resuscitation on the field.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Republican politician Kevin McCarthy on becoming Speaker of the House of Representatives, telling him Ukraine is counting on his “continued support” and more U.S. aid. “Congratulations to [Kevin McCarrthy] on his election as the Speaker of the [United States] House of Representatives,” Zelensky wrote on social media. “U.S. support in all fields has been vital for [Ukraine’s] success on the battlefield. We’re counting on your continued support and further U.S. assistance to bring our common victory closer,” he added. Republican Kevin McCarthy has been elected as the new US Speaker after winning the 15th vote following chaotic scenes in Congress. Mr McCarthy's party had taken control of the House – the US lower chamber – following the midterm elections in the autumn, with a slim 222-212 majority. Usually, election of the Speaker follows seamlessly, as a formality, with the leader of the largest party a shoo-in for the job. However, recent splits in the Republican party meant that did not happen until the 15th round of voting. In the 14th ballot, Mr McCarthy received 216 votes - one shy of the number needed for a victory - as a small faction

You remember this one. Last April, Florida put an end to the special status originally granted to Disney World back in 1967. The whole battle began after Disney decided to criticize the “Parental Rights in Education” bill which DeSantis had signed in March. Here’s a bit of background on the deal that was repealed. Since 1967, Disney has received tax and regulation exemptions for an area known as the Reedy Creek Improvement District. The exemption in effect allows Disney to govern itself on Disney World grounds, including having its own fire department and board of supervisors, as well as its ability to oversee land and environmental regulations.

This is one of them, and the cast is perfect: an ex-Republican congressman, MSNBC, and the Democrat-weaponized FBI — with the CIA tossed in as a bonus. Our tale begins with Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie’s revelation that now-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed, as part of a deal with GOP lawmakers opposed to his speakership bid, to the formation of a committee modeled after the 1975 Senate Select Committee, formed by Senator Frank Church, which investigated abuses by the CIA, FBI, National Security Agency, and the IRS,

The majestic structures of ancient Rome have survived for millennia — a testament to the ingenuity of Roman engineers, who perfected the use of concrete. But how did their construction materials help keep colossal buildings like the Pantheon (which has the world's largest unreinforced dome) and the Colosseum standing for more than 2,000 years? Roman concrete, in many cases, has proven to be longer-lasting than its modern equivalent, which can deteriorate within decades. Now, scientists behind a new study say they have uncovered the mystery ingredient that allowed the Romans to make their construction material so durable and build elaborate structures in challenging places such as docks, sewers and earthquake zones.
