In the midst of the battle over Kevin McCarthy becoming Speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Rogers set newsrooms ablaze by “lunging” at Rep. Matt Gaetz. At the time, Gaetz and others had just finished securing major concessions from McCarthy, and one ballot later, the deal would finally be sealed. On the prior ballot, though, Rogers, who is set to chair the Armed Services Committee, was apparently angered by Gaetz voting present and chose to lash out.
Because Gaetz was on the receiving end of the rage, the press largely took Rogers’ side, exuding a “serves him right” attitude about the ordeal. That’s not a shock given the press

The conduct displayed by Rogers is evident that the GOP is lead by General Disarray. They have no clue what they are doing and continue to disappoint the citizens they represent. Kevin can't fix it. He hasn't learned how to govern, at least that's what he said Friday evening. America is in really, deep doo-doo.

How revealing to see how self-described conservatives behave when their power is threatened. These are the same nausea inspiring bureaucrats who continuously refer to the liberals as ‘their friends’. Indeed.

The real story here is Gaetz is a two-faced showboat. He Threatened to quit Congress under certain circumstances while lying to Hannity earlier on Friday night convincing everyone watching when he said…..he had gotten everything he wanted from the next Speaker, Kevin McCarthy. What a jerk!!

The Republican revealed who they are, and it is not representatives of the people. McConnell already made that clear in the Senate, when he and his GOPe voted for the 1.7 Trillion omnibus. I am glad the traitors IDed themselves for the voters, who I hope will remove them.

I think this type of stuff goes on all the time in England. Those guys fight and scream and yell. Frankly I'm fine with the 15 votes necessary for McCarthy to win. Not sure I like him but I do like the fact that it wasn't a done deal made behind closed doors. Wonder what all the concessions are.

Nothing new …only selected few are allowed to show their opinions…Maxine can, Gaetz can’t, Trump can’t, Biden can, Mitch can, Cruz can’t….the so called media runs the show…

Just shows Rogers is scared. Wonder what's going to happen. McCarthy had two meetings with Trump this past week at Mar A Lago. Who's the best Negotiator? Art of the Deal reprise. Trump just told the Deep State, They aren't in charge anymore. Trump is in control. They had to wait to close the deal on the 15th vote. It was predicted in a Q Post (Qanon as some would say) EXACTLY 5 years from the day. Look at the people who were panicking. Like Rogers. And a win on drugs they arrested the son of Escobar in Mexico. The swamp is being drained.

Matt Gaetz is the guy who announced three years ago he was thinking about running for the US Senate - in Alabama. What a gafoon. Hopefully, his 15 minutes is up and we can move on to laying the predicate for the 2024 election.

In fewer words, I entirely agree that Rogers is a "Deep State Hack" and should never serve on any committee of consequence.

The really real story here is that most Republican Reps hate Conservatives more than they hate Dems.

Here's the problem with the story of Mike Rogers "lunging" at Gaetz . . . it didn't happen. If you watched it live instead of relied on still pictures and the slant of biased "news" reports, you'd know that.
Note that Bonchie even admits that in the article:
"To be fair, the incident was sensationalized quite a bit. I’m not so sure that Rogers actually “lunged” at Gaetz as much as he just stood there and then got “held back” for no real reason. I’m also pretty sure that Rogers, being a noted toupee wearer, had no intention of actually getting into a fistfight that would have sent his fake hair flying."

The reason emotions got involved this time is because their money continues to flow with the entrenched uniparty, but a truly conservative leadership would hit the RINOs in their pocketbook.

You can rail on Gaetz all you want, but he did some good if you ask me. He enabled his group to get up on the floor of the House and tell some truths about how the House had been operating. He also called out Rinos. Each one of their short speeches was worthy to be heard. I don’t know how McCarthy is going to run the House but he knows there are members in his party who are not going to be silenced. They may not get what they want, but the American people are going to know why. What these Rinos can’t stand is the fact that some of their colleagues actually want to represent their constituents. All Rinos care about is representing their donors and quietly doing their bidding behind the scenes. We may not be able to move bills forward and get them passed but I hope these Rino swamp creatures with no allegiance to anyone but their sugar daddy donors, are called out every single time they betray the American people. I am done with expecting unity in the Republican Party. There is none. It’s all about the status quo wherein insider trading is the source of much of their wealth along with other financial shenanigans, and betrayal of the America First agenda is their highest priority. If they do not walk the walk and only talk the talk, they are worthless pawns of the swamp. Some don’t even try to fool us. They openly support the globalist agenda. Who needs that? It’s going to be interesting to see if Kevin McCarthy will honor his word. I am not hopeful, but time will tell. Gaetz and his group may be different but doing the same old thing and getting the same result is insane. Americans are realizing that conservatives are being sidelined because they actually want to put the country and the American people first. I hope they keep the fire in their belly and expose exactly who is betraying us especially now when we are in such a terrible place.

Instead of restraining Rep. Rogers, Rep. Hudson should have "de-wigged" Rogers

I Watched every minute & Rogers DID NOT lunge at Gaetz. There were several people in front of Gaetz & Rogers was trying to get his attention.

In 1856, the media took the side of Democrat Representative Preston Brooks when he beat Republican Charles Sumner half to death with his cane for daring to challenge the Democrat's right to enslave people.
The Uniparty - whether it has an "R" or "D" next to the particular member, doesn't like people to be free. They lose their power, prestige, and money.
