NBC executives are reportedly regretting renewing Jimmy Fallon’s $80 million contract, now that Greg Gutfeld of FOX News is the ratings king of late night TV. Gutfeld regularly beats many if not all of the network late shows in ratings while people ignore has-beens like Jimmy Fallon. The late night schedule will probably look very different in a year or so. He inherited an 11 million viewship slot and used his time slot to blast 1/2 of his audience, so they left. Now he pulls in 1 million viewers. He's just not funny.

I used to watch Gutfeld but because he's on Fox I dont anymore. His RedEye show was a hoot. As for Fallon, I never did like him. He reminds me of the skinny little white kid who hung out with the black kids in an attempt to be cool. It never worked, but kept the black kids amused.

If Gutfield would just let his guests finish their comments before interrupting them, he'd be more watchable. Taping him and watching him the morning after, with coffee, is the only way I can do it, he's on too late. The others, like fallon and cobert, were never watched. Leno was the last until Gutfield came along.

The NBC execs should be fired. Don't they know how to follow trends? Gutfeld didn't just start to beat the snot out of Fallon. How many of us could have told these execs not to pay Fallon $80 million and why?

Fallon made a career out of demonizing and bashing Donald Trump. Now that Trump is regularly found to be innocent of all charges and accusations, while the dirty democrats are identified as the liars and hidden dark denizens in the woodpile, Fallon is running out of material. The clown is not worth eighty dollars and they are paying him eighty million? How stupid are they? During the days of Carson and Leno, The Tonight Show was regular viewing for more than half the country, that's a long, hard fall.

I used to watch Gutfeld quite often, but I really haven't watched his show much for the last four months. Late night talk shows use to entertain with a variety of entertainment, but since Carson left and even since Jay Leno left, every show is nothing but woke BS or political. It's become boring and irritating at the same time. After an entire day of political pundits mouthing this or that, I just want to sit back and be entertained without being brow beat about political correctness or any political commentary. I have over three hundred channels available to watch, and many times there is absolutely nothing of interest that I want to watch. I'll watch the weather channels for a while, until they start mouthing climate change BS.

As I’ve said in the past, I’ve never been a fan of the silliness of labeling political opponents. This is not to be confused with humorous “nicknames” — the most clever of which I enjoy, and have coined a few — but rather attempting to paint an adversary into a particular corner defined by you. Third-party “you,” that is. And of course, the most popular label by far among certain factions of the Republican Party is “RINO.” The definition of “RINO” — Republican in Name Only — not only used to be easy to understand; it was easy to identify Republicans who fit the RINO mold.
