How I'm Learning to Trust God in 2023

Original Article

I’ve spent the last month mentally recuperating from one of the most grueling yet fulfilling moments of my life so far. When I started on-the-ground coverage of the Arizona general election in September, I had no idea that I would become a regular member of one of the most highly-watched press pools in the nation. And for a college student, that’s objectively terrifying, even though I’m not exactly “brand new” to the media world. Let’s just say, the pace began increasing quickly as the fall months melted into each other. I learned fast that I had to go beyond my own understanding of time management in order to balance

I have to admit, I have been really mad at God for the last two years. Despite millions of prayers for Rush and President Trump, Rush died and Trump lost. But a preacher on tv said something the other day that opened my eyes. Essentially he quoted a Bible verse that explained that He took Rush from us because He didn't want him to see what happened...on this side. (Kind of like how I feel grateful that my Dad died before he saw the coming destruction of our country.) President Trump's loss exposed to the Nation the danger of the very Deep State. We are all finally opening our eyes. He put Americans first, therefore, he needed to be defeated/destroyed. And he was, through all types of ballot fraud. Instead, Rush's death led to the growth of Steve Bannon's Warroom.org. if you don't follow it, you should. He is a more activist Rush! Americans are opening their eyes to the corruption in their government on both sides of the aisle and across the world. Truth is, I need to start praying again because as I look over the past two years, I realize that God didn't abandon us like I thought He did. He always has a plan...whether we like it or not! But ultimately, He will expose it and be on our side, if we just believe in Him! Happy New Year L'Dotters! Pray for a better year ahead! I'm starting now!

In the end, God is all we got, and all we will ever need. It kind of puts everything in perspective.

God's ways are not always our ways. We have to trust and obey, then leave the rest up to Him. No man, woman, or politician is going to deliver us. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

God is not responsible for the evil in this world from governments and powerful people and church clergy. Satan is. And Satan's Plan A has always been to force people to worship him instead of God. Thats why satan chose the false prophet to be Mohammed and his religion as islam. Satan corrupts Christian clergy to teach false tenets. If your going to pray, pray that Jesus will return to set this world right.

Republican Rep. Bob Good of Virginia claimed that “10 to 15” Republicans would “block” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s bid to become speaker at Tuesday’s vote and hinted at a “true candidate” to potentially replace him. “What we’ll do is we’ll block Kevin. There will be, I suspect, 10 to 15 members who will vote against him on the first ballot tomorrow, that will vote for Andy Biggs,” Good told “Fox and Friends” guest host Griff Jenkins Monday. “But then I think you will see on the second ballot, an increasing number of members vote for a true candidate who can represent the conservative center of the conference,

It seems like every year we hear of more archaeological findings that support the story of the Bible. One of those sites is about to open to the public for the first time in 2,000 years. In 2018, archaeologists unearthed a pool and fountain near Jerusalem on the site of an ancient church. “The most significant finding in the excavation is a large and impressive pool from the Byzantine period,” Irina Zilberbod, excavation director for the Israel Antiquities Authority, said at the time. “This pool was built in the center of a spacious complex at the foot of a church that once stood here. Roofed colonnades were built around the pool

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will be doing himself no favors this week when he makes a rare joint appearance with President Joe Biden in his home state of Kentucky. Then again, McConnell appears to have thrown caution to the wind when it comes to being concerned about agitating the Republican Party base — just before the Christmas break McConnell declared that former President Donald Trump’s “political clout has diminished,” and said the GOP “lost support that we needed among independents and moderate Republicans, primarily related to the view they had of us as a party — largely made by the former president — that we were sort of nasty

A homeless woman on the streets of Portland bragged about the perks of living on the streets, including the free meals and ability to be high all day. Wendy, a homeless woman, dove into the homeless crisis in the city in a new way by explaining how the nearly open-air drug policies are bringing more tents onto the streets.  Portland currently has more than 700 homeless encampments across the city within less than 150 square miles, and the ordeal has also led to the skyrocketing use of cocaine, heroine, LCD and meth which officials decriminalized in 2020.  'It’s a piece of cake really that's why you probably have so many out here

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy told reporters Tuesday would be a 'good day' after his staff spent Monday morning moving his office furniture into the Speaker's chambers. Looking somewhat stressed on Monday afternoon, the California Republican was rushing out of the US Capitol when reporters asked him about the following day's House-wide vote to elect their chamber's leader. McCarthy's campaign for the gavel has been somewhat bumpy for weeks, but the pressure has ramped up in the final 48 hours with as many as 15 GOP members allegedly ready to vote against him. He can only lose four votes to still clinch victory.

The day after the Capitol was breached and the narrative of a failed insurrection was being circulated, then-Capitol Police chief Steven Sund was singled out by the speaker for the breakdown in security with a public call for his resignation. Tuesday, nearly two years later, Sund’s account is slated for release in the book titled “Courage Under Fire” in which he recounts how

However, if he ignores those calls, it may be difficult to stop him from being seated in the House and even harder to expel him once he takes office.

Why did Republicans underperform during the 2022 mid-terms? That question has become a near-constant point of contention on the right. Was it a candidate quality issue? I’d argue that was certainly the case in several high-profile races, but that’s obviously not the only thing that plagued the GOP. There was also a lack of coherent messaging from leadership, and in many important races, Democrats were simply able to outspend their opponents by large margins. The RNC’s inability to harvest votes and bank early votes didn’t help either. Donald Trump is looking elsewhere for an explanation, though. In an eyebrow-raising rant on Sunday, he appeared to blame pro-lifers for GOP woes.

It would be the first thing he’s done to fulfill his pledge to unite the nation, with a decision to retire worthy of bipartisan celebration. Biden is a bumbler, and always was, even before cognitive decline turned his appearances into spectacles. The big achievement of his tenure has been to prove the wisdom of two warnings about him.
