“You Better Listen To Her” – Dr.

Dr. Jill and Joe delivered a New Year message during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve with host Ryan Seacrest. Dr. Jill shouted over her husband, “Happy New Year!” Ryan Seacrest asked the Bidens about their first New Year’s eve together. Joe Biden mumbled something about spending the evening with Jill’s whole family because they weren’t married yet. This never happened. At one point Dr. Jill told Americans to get their Covid vaccine and flu shot. “You better listen to her,” Biden mumbled.

Glad I missed it. Of course, I missed most all of the New Year programs. There's nothing entertaining about watching people trying to be funny when they're not. However, it does show how scripted all of the other shows are when they try and ad lib their way through a three-hour program with no script. No matter how many so-called ordinary people they interviewed, it just comes off as being forced. Very few people are that happy and excited at a New Year's Eve party.

Christian colleges and universities are seeing an increase in enrollment despite the national enrollment rate of college students being on a decline, higher education experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation. The national undergraduate enrollment rate dropped 1.1% during the fall 2022 semester while the rate declined a total of 4.2% since 2020, according to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center. Many faith-based institutions, however, saw an increase in enrollment which higher education experts claim is because of these institutions’ commitment to their roots.

The philosophy of relativism claims that all truth is relative, and that there is no such thing as absolute truth. (Of course, if relativism is true, then based on its own principle it can be dismissed as merely “relative truth,” and is therefore meaningless. If, however, it’s posited as an absolute truth that applies to all things, people, time and places… then it’s an absolute truth, and gives the lie to the idea that truth is relative! Yes, parents, such is the “education” you’re paying for your children to receive in the hallowed halls of academia.)  Adherents to the philosophy of pluralism (which posits that all humans are of equal value)

Republican Kevin McCarthy has been elected as the new US Speaker after winning the 15th vote following chaotic scenes in Congress. Mr McCarthy's party had taken control of the House – the US lower chamber – following the midterm elections in the autumn, with a slim 222-212 majority. Usually, election of the Speaker follows seamlessly, as a formality, with the leader of the largest party a shoo-in for the job. However, recent splits in the Republican party meant that did not happen until the 15th round of voting. In the 14th ballot, Mr McCarthy received 216 votes - one shy of the number needed for a victory - as a small faction
