Depending on who you ask, members of the billionaire Pritzker family of Chicago are either the proud descendants of a financial genius who are doing good by funding progressive causes — or a secretive dynasty who now back radical no-bail laws and the transgender movement.(Snip)Gov. Pritzker has also signed off on transgender legislation, in essence making “gender affirming care” the law in Illinois. In 2019, the state’s Medicaid program began covering gender-affirming surgeries for its members. Last year, he also passed the “Youth and Health Safety Act” — a new sex education bill that follows the standards of a left-wing interest group called SIECUS

I'm not sure which is more destructive, no cash bail or the sex-change industry, but they're both being financed by the Pritzker clan.

What a horrible thought. The only way we can get rid of him as governor in Illinois, is if he becomes president. Between Biden and Pritzker the new laws, regulations, and taxes kicking in here on January 1, 2023 will crush all of us. Beware of this guy. He and his nutty family will stop at nothing. This last election was brutal for anyone who opposed him. They have enough money to buy anything they want.

People who inherit wealth all seem to become worthless snobs. I have a nephew and my dad had a cousin who earned their money but their children are only good at spending that money with no respect for those of us who work.

Whose bright idea was it to run Darren Bailey against JB? The Illinois Republican Party is controlled by a small group of conservatives who would rather lose than nominate a less-than-pure candidate. They trashed the Republican governor that Pritzker beat in 2018 and then put up a sure loser in to challenge him in 2022. Illinois is RINO country, at best. A true conservative on all issues cannot win here. The Republicans should run an economic conservative who is tough on crime. That would their only chance of winning.

Promoting 'woke' policies gets you favorable media coverage - even if your policies are destructive and unpopular. The Biden Klan is following the same template.

As a Russian immigrant comedian once said, "America! What a country!" If it is possible for this family of seriously retarded, inbred, sexually confused, gluttonous, immoral, degenerates to succeed, anyone can make it here. I look forward to what their offspring can bring to the table. If they have any offspring, that is.

Raise a toast to an incredible 19th-century Missouri scientist when you pop that bottle of fine French bubbly on New Year’s Eve. His name is Charles Valentine Riley. He was an entomologist. He studied bugs. And he saved the Champagne industry. (Snip) “Land under vines had shrunk dramatically, the production of fine and ordinary wines had plummeted, the bottom had fallen out of exports, and vignerons had left the countryside in droves.” France’s beloved winemaking tradition was almost lost forever. Riley, Missouri’s first state entomologist, and a passionate scientist-artist raced to the rescue.

The hardest part of changing the world around you is making the decision to attempt it in the first place. It’s even more difficult when you hear stories of people from different walks of life losing their economic means to provide for simply expressing a counter-viewpoint. Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik decided to disarm her opponents by revealing her identity this week(Snip) She found a way to contribute to conversation and to help people become aware of some of the predators in our society.

The other domestic airlines, by and large, have recovered from the recent winter storm. But beset by decades of underinvestment in technology and evidently inadequate management, Southwest has been unable to schedule its crews or handle escalating customer service demands.
