Donald Trump's tax returns will be made public at midday after a nearly four-year-long fight that saw the former president fight tooth-and-nail to shield his financial statements from public view.
The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee voted last Tuesday evening to release the returns, in a debate that lasted more than three hours behind closed doors.
The final vote was 24 to 16. All Democrats voted in favor of the action while all Republicans on the panel voted against.
Six years' worth of Trump's most recent tax returns will be covered, as well as documents from eight of his businesses. They will be partially-redacted.

This should really allow any American to see a copy of any other American's tax return. If returns are not private then they are not private. Why must Republicans vote in committee to have Pelosi or Biden's returns released?

This committee issued an unconstitutional bill of attainder. The Supreme Court lets it slide. This is not a small deal.

The IRS has looked at his tax returns. If they aren't getting excited, why should Congress?

The House, which will never do this, should state for legislative purposes it will subpoena the tax returns of the Judicial branch. Include black robed demigods of the Democrat persuasion. Then release the returns afterwards. Use the information to put laws in place to limited the financial largess of judges. Make the above the law judges in this country live by the laws they impose on the rest of us.

Another Harry Reid moment. Can't wait for the Republicans to release Nasty Nancy's and Paulie's tax returns for the last 30 years. The Biden Crime Family's returns as well. And don't forget Pencil-Neck's.

I don't know but isn't it illegal to reveal anybody's tax information. If so can we arrest all these freaking criminal Democrats?

Illegal smear job is allowed to proceed by a corrupt government. This is nothing more than an attempt at embarrassment and harassment. Someday we might have an honest DOJ that releases the records of the Clintons, the Obamas and the Bidens that will clearly contain millions of dollars in corruption but I probably won't live that long.

After this Democrat political stunt, If the wimpy Republicans and RINOS do not immediately obtain Biden’s, Obama’s, Clinton’s and Pelosi’s tax returns and publicly release them, they will just be showing that they are completely useless and should never be re-elected!

#12, redacted means that things like his Social Security Number will be blacked out. Sadly, that is about the extent that they will "redact" his returns.
Demon-Rats have so few working brain cells that they never understand the consequences of actions like this. They have now set a precedence that it is OK to release tax returns to the public. When the Republicans have power, and they start to do this for Demon-Rats, the Demon-Rats will scream "unfair" and "partisan politics". But they set the precedence on this, and if the Republicans have an iota of spine left, we are about to see the tax returns of Nancy Pelosi, Ovomit, Lyin' Joe bidet, Hunter bidet, Chuck Schumer, etc, etc. And they have nobody but themselves to blame for moving this line in the sand and setting this precedence...

The 4th Amendment is pretty much moot now-- The mob can go after anyone now
The Bill of Rights of the citizens to protect them FROM GOVERNMENT over reach is now on the chopping block after misuse of government authority to attack TRUMP
"he right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized"...

Around the time of the Civil War, when the income tax was first put in, the amounts of money people made were public information. Evidently it caused a lot of social and community trouble and the tax (and making it public) were eventually repealed.

So, if I want to run for city council or dog catcher, a court may order me release my tax returns? But the IRS (and FIB) already would have them.

Never have ANY of The Biden Crime Family's corrupt dealings and tax returns been investigated. Because they are corrupt for the Deep State.
President Trump is honest and for the American people.

I fully expect that they will make an "inadvertant error" and some private info like TaxID # or Social Security number will be published. On a complicated tax return, it is very difficult to redact all such numbers. This will be a doxxing of the highest magnitude.

Thanks #18. My wife has been doing ours for years, so I didn't think of that. My immediate thought was - redacting entries and credits would be as informative as Hussein's birth certificate. Useless!

Fraudulent Farce....this particular committee took this case to court after court, including the Supremes claiming they had "Legitimate Legislative need" for these private tax returns...now without even any hearings or study they will release them to the Public...it was ALL designed to do just that, in the hopes of embarrassing Trump in some fashion. Without a corresponding Legislative change derived from this information...they should all be charged with misuse of office, and perjury before every court that heard the cases, be made personally responsible for all court costs from both sides, disbarred if they are lawyers(most are), censored by the house, and impeached from office,

A search of their records and communications will reveal that they conspired and colluded with prosecutors in several states and the SDNY to intentionally mislead the courts by claiming a particular Legislative "Need" that never existed in order to give those prosecutors this data that the courts had denied THEM access to. Nearly all of the attorneys involved will be shown to be members of "Lawfare" groups, that publicly define their mission as WAR, warfare of Lawyers against against Trump...by definition an insurrection and coup attempt.

I pray that all of the disgustingly sickening evil that America is enduring backfires on those who perpetrate it, in God’s good time, and that all prayers for good to prevail in America will be be answered in its wake.
Surely seeing the devil’s handiwork being done before our eyes is enough to make people realize that they want to live lives pleasing to God, so they don’t have to spend eternity in hell with those capable of doing the evil we have been seeing done in America.

President Trump lost a couple of BILLION while he was in office, AND donated his salary to charity. President Trump was WEALTHY long before he took office. How did Biden become a multi-millionnaire on a senator's salary?? Let's pull THAT up and inspect it.
