MIAMI, Florida — Former President Donald Trump pledged he will never cut Social Security if elected again to the White House in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News here earlier in December.
“We’re not cutting Social Security,” Trump said. “It’s very simple. It’s a simple answer. We’re not cutting Social Security.”
Trump’s interview with Breitbart News came earlier in December at his Miami golf course, Trump National Doral.
Social Security, which was developed as part of the New Deal by then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the aftermath of the Great Depression, is a very simple program that guarantees Americans who hit retirement age certain income.

This article lays out why President Trump’s base is so loyal. He may make a few cringeworthy statements every now and then but on the big issues he is right. He is dead right. Democrats and now we know some Republicans believe Social Security is a benefit and not a contract with the government that was entered into in order to insure that seniors would have a nest egg of sorts for their retirement years. President Trump believes it should be honored.
Had the government not raided the Social Security fund to pay for the Vietnam War, it would be doing exactly what it was intended to do, help seniors during their retirement years. The fact that this corrupt government is more than willing to throw money to the wind for programs that are complete failures and are presently funding a war in Ukraine that is doing nothing more than protecting the money laundering capital of the world is a slap in the face to every tax payer. These fools sitting in Washington are corrupt and incompetent. The fact that PDT points this out is why politicians hate him. He is the only guy willing to call them out to their faces. They have been allowed far too long to lie, cheat and steal the American people and then assure us that they are working for us. What a crock! The only thing the American people are to these fools is a income stream. They do not make decisions based upon what is good for the American worker. In fact, they undermine us at every turn.
President Trump is no fool and has been watching them destroy this country for decades. He understands what they are doing now and what they have done in the past. The political elites in both parties intend to throw Social Security under the bus because they recognize the opportunity to do so is now.
What this issue boils down to is integrity and honor. It is clear from the out of control spending that democrats and foolish republicans led by Mitch McConnell have no sense of responsibility to the tax payer. They waste billions on garbage and ask for more. They cut needed programs and throw money to ridiculous programs that fail time after time. We are being ruled by corrupt incompetents with a insatiable lust for other people’s money. Trump recognizes this and rails against it and rightly so. This is why the political class could not allow him another term. He was laser focused on their unbridled corruption and waste. They know he is a problem solver who believes the main problem in our government is the people running it. They are corrupt to the core. Democrats want to destroy the Republic and Republicans are focused on the wealth that can be had by endless war mongering, something that President Trump is adamantly against. This is why he is a hero to the majority of Americans. They know he is in it because he loves the country, believes in its people and is willing to take on its enemies. Donald John Trump stands head and shoulders above the traitors who are openly in our faces destroying this country. You bet I am going to vote for him. No one in modern history has sacrificed as much, been persecuted as much and is still willing to take on the evil that is devastating our country.

He will be elected … same as 2020, but never installed as president. Same reason the 2022 red wave failed to materialize. FRAUD. And not just fraud at the ballot box. CORRUPTION in very branch at the highest levels.

If our corrupt government hadn’t started dumping our Social Security “contributions” into the General Fund and replacing it with an IOU, this agency would be able to stand on its own forever. Unfortunately, it’s bankrupt just like the rest of the government.

So now, with the three exceptions, it is ok to kill the unborn to buy a vote. The unborn are pure innocent, regardless of what anyone says. Life is full of tough decisions. Saving an innocent life is not a tough decision. I, for one, will not sacrifice a child for a vote or any other reason.

I can't believe the demosluts are still using the lie that Republicans will cut social security. I was reading this crap in Newsweek when I was in high school in 1971. It wasn't true then, and it isn't true now. If any political has been going after social security, it's been the demosluts. They've been raiding that fund for decades to pay for every useless social program since I was in high school. It's the demosluts that have mentioned going after the 401k programs and pensions to pay for more government spending.

So, the conservative view of Social(ism) Security is that of the 1960s Democrats who gave us the expansions that are draining the "trust fund". It's an illustration of how conservatives spend their time defending what exists rather than advancing change...they can't do it. And here is an example. Eleanor Roosevelt and LBJ are smiling somewhere.

All the exceptions and rules regarding abortion must have a common moral baseline. Life begins at conception and a fetus is a person in the fullest extent of the law. Anything else is sheer sophistry. Does this mean no abortions are allowed? Of course not. Society permits, accepts the death of innocents in many circumstances. Civil populations in war. By standers in a mob control situation. Thousands who die each year in traffic accidents. There are many cases. But we must not lose sight of the fact that abortion is a deliberate act of violence that is killing a human being. Our humanity depends on it.

Here Trump is right again. But as you can see Trump is up against a bunch of really stupid Republican career politicians who talk about sabotaging social security and Medicare even though common sense will tell you that they are never going to have enough votes in Congress to do so. That’s an example why the wimpy Republicans have been called the Stupid Party for so long.

If they want to see a real insurrection, they will mess with social security. People will attack Washington wielding canes and crutches and they will overpower anybody in their way.

Yes. The decision belongs with the states. Not every jurisdiction is as strict as others. Rape and incest are crimes. Have you ever confronted a Pro-Choice advocate on restricting an abortion to a facility that will collect the tissue to be analyzed forensicly to prosecute the perpetrator? Get the DNA in every case.

30 million Illegal Aliens America is subsidizing and there's more crossing the borders. The bean counters are already saying, social security benefits will be cut by 10% or more in 2033. Real government debt probably at 100 trillion-plus dollars, will make America a third-world country. .....the once-great American way of life will be gone and the concept of American wealth and abundance will be decimated. Leave California? No! Maybe, leave America and move to Maui.

I'm a little different from lots of conservatives on abortion. I am all in for the "morning after pill."
I think the abortion question could be muted with the morning after pill however some conservatives consider even this to be murder. dim-0s, OTOH, dont want to end the controversy, they would rather keep the issue to stir up women with at election season.
