The co-founder of Home Depot slammed 'woke people,' said nobody wants to work anymore and called Joe Biden 'the worst president in history' for putting obstacles in the way of entrepreneurial success.
Bernie Marcus, 93, believes that the success the company he began with Arthur Blank in 1978 couldn't happen today.
He said: 'We would end up with 15, 16 stores. I don’t know that we could go further' because of people standing in the way of the business community.
Marcus added that he's worried about capitalism and said thanks to socialism, 'Nobody works.

President Joe Biden doesn’t trust some of his own Secret Service agents because they’re secret Trump supporters, according to a new book.
Set to be released next month, “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House” documents, among other things, the president’s distrust of his own security team.
“A bigger problem was Biden’s discomfort with his Secret Service detail; some of them were MAGA sympathizers. He didn’t trust them,” author Chris Whipple wrote, according to an excerpt shared with The Hill.
Other Secret Service agents meanwhile were “white ex-cops from the South who tend to be deeply conservative,”

President Joe Biden’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has officially reopened legal immigration to foreign nationals with a history of using American taxpayer-funded welfare benefits.
In early 2020, the Trump administration finalized a federal regulation known as the “public charge” rule that made it less likely for foreign nationals to secure green cards to permanently reside in the United States if they had previously used welfare programs like food stamps, Medicaid, or taxpayer-funded housing programs.
Almost immediately after taking office, Biden threw out the finalized public charge rule imposed by the Trump administration, blowing open the door for welfare-dependent legal immigration to the United States,

The White House will fly the federal budget to St Croix for President Joe Biden to sign into law ahead of the December 30 deadline, so the government doesn't shut down over New Year's Eve.
The 4,000-page, $1.7 trillion omnibus package to fund the government through September 2023 arrived at the White House on Wednesday evening, after it completed the legislative enrollment process.
It now needs to make its way to St Croix, where Biden is spending the holiday week in a luxury villa owned by a billionaire Democratic donor.

We’ve seen how the left and the liberal media haven’t been at all happy with Elon Musk buying Twitter and championing free speech.
When you champion free speech, it means you support the right of all to speak, not just the people with whom you agree. But that’s how it’s been with old Twitter — allowing the liberal narrative and suspending those who seriously questioned it. The liberal media was happy with that because they agreed with it.
Much of the liberal media either tried to downplay or ignore the revelations of the Twitter Files showing the coordination of the government in the suppression of speech on Twitter.

I reported previously how Dean Eduardo Peñalver of Cornell's famous law school used an official Cornell University web page to condemn Legal Insurrection's William Jacobson for disparaging Black Lives Matter. This page, which is still online as of December 27, 2022, says in part (emphasis is mine),
In light of this deep and rich tradition of walking the walk of racial justice, in no uncertain terms, recent blog posts of Professor William Jacobson, casting broad and categorical aspersions on the goals of those protesting for justice for Black Americans, do not reflect the values of Cornell Law School as I have articulated them.

A child fathered by Hunter Biden may have her last name changed to Biden if a court appeal filed Tuesday by the girl’s Arkansas mother succeeds.
The motion, filed by the attorney for former stripper Lunden Alexis Roberts, was made in the 16th Circuit Court in Independence County in the paternity case against Hunter Biden, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette reports.
The outlet records the name change submission was one of four filings made in the case originally settled back in March, 2020.
The case was reopened in September when the son of President Joe Biden sought child support payment adjustments due to “substantial material change”

Former president Donald Trump wasted no time to celebrate after being informed the January 6th’s committee has withdrawn his subpoena to testify as the investigation begins to wind down.
The panel's chairman, Missouri Democrat Bennie Thompson, informed Trump's lawyers that the former president will no longer be ‘obligated to comply or produce records’ that were originally requested.
'In light of the imminent end of our investigation, the Select Committee can no longer pursue the specific information covered by the subpoena,' it read.
The letter, which was screenshotted and posted by Trump’s lawyer, went on to 'formally withdraw' the subpoena,

MIAMI, Florida — Former President Donald Trump pledged he will never cut Social Security if elected again to the White House in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News here earlier in December.
“We’re not cutting Social Security,” Trump said. “It’s very simple. It’s a simple answer. We’re not cutting Social Security.”
Trump’s interview with Breitbart News came earlier in December at his Miami golf course, Trump National Doral.
Social Security, which was developed as part of the New Deal by then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the aftermath of the Great Depression, is a very simple program that guarantees Americans who hit retirement age certain income.
