Former Vice President Mike Pence now claims Donald Trump’s “reckless” words on January 6, 2021 “endangered” Pence and his family. Some observers found Pence’s words surprising, but this is not a new trajectory for the Indiana Republican, an outspoken Christian. Back in August, Pence proclaimed “these attacks on the FBI must stop,” but the words of the former vice president should not be interpreted literally. Nobody is “attacking” the J. Edgar Hoover Building in the style of Antifa rioters in 2020....

I'm curious as to what the point of all this disloyalty is all of a sudden. He destroyed his reputation as a good little church boy already, and he's digging the hole even deeper. Apparently he's ok with millions in bribes, stolen elections and pedophiles, but not so much with mean tweets.

In his interview with Hannity he didn't have the guts to say anything like this. Why, because he's a freakin weasel, part of the deep swamp. With a spine like a jellyfish Pence doesn't have the spine to stand up to the swamp or China or Russia. Like our enemies did with Obama and now Biden, they will walk all over him.

I'm not sure what the multiple references to Pence's piety and Christian faith have to do with Pence's opinion on Trump. If Billingsley is insinuating that you cannot be a devout Christian AND disagree with Trump and his Jan 6 actions then he is totally wrong. Devout Christians often disagree on this very topic. I may disagree with Pence, but I absolutely disagree with mocking him for his devout faith. Billingsley should be ashamed.

Having been there this is what I saw on January 6. After standing in the cold wet ground for hours Trump came out and droned on for what seemed like forever giving the the most boring speech. There was no rallying, or hateful rhetoric, or inspiring to do wrong. If you listened to speakers like Ray Epps you know the FBI and Democrat party caused this incident. People began to leave before the speech was over. Anyone who says different was either not there or lying.
