I’m sure that if many people were being honest with themselves, they’d rather find themselves at the business end of a loaded gun than be subjected to a line of questions by Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan. Sure enough, that’s exactly where former anti-abortion activist and current Supreme Court whistleblower Rev. Robert L. Schenck found himself during Thursday’s House Justiciary Committee Hearing. Schenck was supposed to be the Democrats’ star witness, but by the time Jordan was done with him, he was a smoking pile of ash.

I can understand violence when caused by competition for scarce resources impinging on the survival of the group or the individual.
