The GOP’s lackluster performance on Tuesday speaks not only to the party’s fecklessness but also to the liberalism of the American people. Even if the GOP had run uniformly strong candidates, they would still have struggled to persuade Americans in thrall to left-wing propaganda. The truth is that whoever owns the culture in the end owns politics. The complacent assumption of many pundits is that politics revolves around the “economy, stupid.” But what truly animates politics is the culture that shapes voters. Whoever controls that culture usually wins. The American people are electing the pols they deserve, demagogues who mirror the woke prejudices of an increasingly propagandized people.

I could not agree more. It is like Catholics who have for generations mistakenly believed that Catholic schools and Catholic parents are sufficient to end up with Catholic children. No, Protestants have it right when they insist that every person must 'walk the aisle' themselves. We Republicans have let professional 'educators' poison the minds of our kids for multiple generations as well and then think that our children will return to Wisdom when they get old enough to think with their minds instead of their hearts. It hasn't worked. I am not sure that we can reverse the decline of America but anger and whining sure the hell isn't enough.

There are some short term problems that the Republicans can take care of, that as of now are being ignored. First, since some states are burdened with early voting, now being used for well hidden grooming by the dimocrats, the Republicans have got to get into the game. MrsLakerman, a lifelong Republican, received no voting reminders. Nothing. Nil. I am a lifelong Democrat, and received plenty of voting reminders. Abd because here in Pennsylvania, those who have received mail un ballots can be monitored, reminders are sent to be sure to vote, by mail, email, and and landline, Republicnas have to invest some money nd effort in this area. Second, Republicans have to develop candidates. The dimocrats are using federal programs which are explicit about no political involvement. The domestic peace corps or Americorps is/are in clear violation of the programs. Fetterman, an avowed 'democratic socialist, (an oxymoron,) is a product of a federal program. He will now be our brain damaged Senator, and will cause damage to our state. He is, in spite of his mumbled denials, ag ainst fracking, a vital part of our Pa wxonomy. Summer Lee, a black socialist, has been elected to the House from Pittsburgh. She is a community organizer, and has been groomed for the House. The Philadelphia freaks have all won reelection, just as I predicted. We are on a road to dullblown socialism, which will kill democracy in the U.S..

Pot, meet kettle. Media, meet public education. If the media did its job, this wouldn’t be happening. This reporter, as well as every “conservative” site doing business with Google and Meta, can spare us their “analysis.” Just look in the mirror, pal, if you’re wondering why the USA is dying.

I'm in New York. THE state that epitomizes the author's death wish description. Although, we managed to help get the House majority with a stunning flip of six house seats. But, for the life of me, I cannot figure out this contempt for Mehmet Oz. Someone tell me exactly what was wrong with him other than he was Trump's pick? Oz is smart, staggeringly accomplished and not a politician. Yet he, and of course Trump, a guy with a great endorsement record, are blamed for the loss. Blame Pennsylvania voters for Fetterman. Blame the voters who also re-elected Shapiro, a guy that is, on a death wish for the coal industry and Pennsylvania energy producers that are the state's biggest sources of revenue. What are those people thinking? But don't blame Oz and Trump. It ain't easy to run for office especially when the media and culture despise you and try to destroy you at every chance. Yet, Oz and other candidates, put themselves out there. And please, do not forget election fraud. I know we are all cowed into not talking about it, but something about this election does not add up. I suspect election fraud was way more subtle this go around. Until we have a thorough and honest investigation of the 2020 election and all election systems such as Dominion, and this month long voting nonsense, we will never be sure that elections are not being stolen from under our eyes.

I fear that far too many voters want what the Dems are selling. They want Big Daddy Gov't to pay for college and health insurance, they want to be told what to do -- lockdowns, wear a mask, take the mystery jab. Unlike conservatives, Dem voters do not want to take responsibility for themselves and their families.

The author has it about right. I think that until things get really difficult here in the USA, Dems and the rest of us won't appreciate what we had until it is gone. The Dems are ruthless against anyone or anything that challenges them and their narrative. How the heck does an 80+ year old woman with bad fitting dentures keep her Dems under control? They are in lockstep with their leader(s). Rs on the other hand - good gawd, most are so mamby pamby - it's frustrating. If I hear one more R say we will investigate and hold this Admin responsible - tell me exactly how? McCarthy, if elected Speaker, is NOT going to approve the issuance of subpoenas. It's time to move on, don't hold grudges, etc ad nauseum. That people like Whitmer got re-elected and Hochul got elected just amazes me , no, not really. I don't want to hear one more crime story from Fox or Newsmax - ya got what you voted for. And all those Hispanics moving right - really? Screw all of them down in the southern border who still voted Dem. May a thousand illegals trash your private property, rob your stores and steal your food. And all those blacks who continue to vote Dem - you're too stupid to know that you really are back in chains thanks to the Dems when the economy tanks and the Dem elites won't care about your suffering. I am done with the Republican Party. Pretty much done with 99% of politicians. And I am certainly done with stupid Americans.

The only thing I take away from this election is that the dims have no fear about stealing elections. Castro, Saddam, Putin, Chavez, et al had no fear about elections. Once they get power and control the vote counting, that’s it. Dimocrats are on this list. It’s all downhill from here.

What's happening amongst most Republican voters is akin to fans of a sports team that have been told that the team is going to roll over its opponent big time, only to have their team almost come close to losing. For months, all conservative media and even some MSM media outlets have been touting a massive red wave coming in the election. We came to believe it simply because the opponents were weak and because they have screwed up the country so badly. It was impossible to believe how anyone could possibly vote for these same people again. While it wasn't the massive red wave we were told it was going to be, the Congress did flip, the Senate may still flip, and there were several good wins for the Republicans including a win in New York that no one expected. No, it wasn't what we expected or were told, but it was still a win. As usual, the demosluts had to lie about Republicans when it came to abortions. It was evident in my state with every Republican being branded as wanting to eliminate abortions. Even though electing said Republican wouldn't have that authority to do that since it would be up to the state legislature to decide the fate of abortions practices in that state as it should have been from the very beginning.

Why do intelligent people continue to refer to Leftist/Communists as liberals? These people are the most illiberal beings on the planet. They are no more liberal than a jailer. They are totalitarians using fascism to entrench their power and enslave the rest of us. We have been witnessing for many years the continued separation of the legal system to a two-tier system where those with money, power, and connections are not subject to the same legal system that we proles are. We have witnessed the growth of the federal bureaucracy into a monster that destroyed everything it touches and controls all aspects of the levers of power on a global scale. The erosion of civil rights on a national scale has only been kept at bay by the efforts of Free States in our Union. The storm clouds have been gathering for several years now. The last man before Trump who understood the insidiousness of totalitarians was President Reagan. Everyone up until Trump coddled the gonads of the totalitarian Chinese because money and power. Now we are at a crossroads. The storm is on the horizon, and good people seem to be ready to stand by and succumb.

Now that the initial shock of the red wave that wasn’t has worn off and the anger over dramatic Republican underperformance in what should have been a massive year has somewhat subsided, it may be possible to rationally analyze why the Wisconsin GOP failed to capture the governor’s mansion. By winning a second term, Democrat Governor Tony Evers became the first man to win a gubernatorial election when his party controlled the White House in more than 30 years.Making his victory even more improbable was the fact that Republican Senator Ron Johnson won reelection on the same night.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Without a doubt, former President Donald Trump has not so quietly been hinting that, yes indeed, he will in fact run in 2024 and win back his old job. In fact, in Ohio on Monday night, he said this: “I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Mar-a-Lago.” He should. As evidenced by his seriously enthusiastic supporters who attended his various fall rallies around the country in Florida or Pennsylvania or Wisconsin or Ohio or elsewhere, the former president stands a very serious chance of winning.
