After calling Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonious” on Saturday night, former President Donald Trump called on his Miami supporters to vote for the Florida GOP governor during the 2022 midterms.
“With thousands of proud, hard-working American patriots, incredible people–just two days from now, the people of Florida are going to reelect the wonderful, the great, a friend of mine, Marco Rubio to the United States Senate, and you’re going to reelect Ron DeSantis as your governor of the state,”

So, now “Little Hands Don” endorses “Little Marco” and “Sanctimonious Ron”. What was it Don Rickles used to say…”Here’s a cookie.”

Trump made a BIG mistake when, during his rally in Pennsylvania, he called Ron DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonious.” That statement was pointless and untrue. Trump does not seem to understand that his many needless and largely pointless digs against Republicans REALLY turn off many Republicans, especially woman.

#2, Did you see that ad? If we’re going to go there. Where was DeSantis for several days after the raid on Mar-A-Logo? Trump could have certainly used his support right after that happened. Was he sitting in his office waiting to see which way the wind was blowing? No matter. Eventually, he came out and made a statement, but you see how this works? No one is perfect. Not even Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump. Democrats and the GOPe are salivating over this brouhaha. Right #1?

Sorry, Mar-a-Lago.

There were two articles here yesterday explaining why Trump called out DeSantis so publicly. He wanted DeSantis to know that he knows. Seems the company DeSantis has been keeping recently is decidedly anti-Trump and he needs to be called out about it. No one who keeps company with Paul Ryan is a friend or comrade of ours.
Come on, surely everyone read those articles and I believe them. Ryan and company hate President Trump viciously and they will do everything they can to stab him in the back and front. And DeSantis knows this.
You’re known by the company you keep.

Our Never Trumpers, or borderline Never Trumpers are popping up commenting in every article about this subject today, giving the liberal media exactly what they wanted. Make up your minds, you’re either with us MAGA or against us.

Trumps one word jibe was about THIS advert DeSantis had just released... it wasn't an insult. DeSantis actually makes the claim he was "Sanctified by God", perhaps he was/is...but saying so ? and paying to promote that statement? Not an advert I would have run, Trump would have run...in fact it is summat unique in that I don't remember ANY candidate EVER running a similar advert.

Donald and Ron need to have a public appearance and hug it out and bury whatever hatchet that exists in their relationship. Amends needs to be made and forgiveness needs to be asked for and given for unity to be clearly apparent. There is a wound that needs healing and picking at the scab will never heal the wound. If they are to be the Dream Team 2024 they need to start acting like it.

Uh oh. So much for the promoters of the Trump v DeSantis feud. Good to see so many more posters who are awake. Some of the comments in the last couple of days—by a lot of new names, incidentally—were downright scary.

A nick name is NOT an attack.
DeSantis is a righteous man. Trump acknowledges that. In our generation this kind of thing is normal.

Apparently some DeSantis ads were saying "Ron is God". If those were brought to my attention....I'd think they were pretty sanctimonious, too.
Don't let the Fake News NeverTrumpers drive a wedge between Trump voters and supporters of DeSantis.
THERE IS NO wedge. Don't let these liars create on in your mind. Don't be suckered by this propaganda move. This is a small, unimportant throw away line. Get over it.

Do you think Trump is ACTUALLY getting the message that supporters and FORMER supporters are not happy with his destroying Republicans he thinks do not live and breath for him and thus our losing the Senate last round and Colorado maybe losing the Governorship. Trump would rather see a Democrat win than anyone vaguely dissing him. It is all about HIM, and if that coincides with good governing that is to our advantage. But often it is NOT to our advantage, and thus the total crap we suffered these last 20 months because we lost the Senate while Trump had a snit fit!!!!!!

To poster #6 and all of the rest of you who think Donald Trump, an excellent President (when he wanted to be) walks on water and is the second coming of Christ...get a grip. You live in a world of illusion if you think anyone who questions the fact that we lost our hold on the Senate via Ga. and Trump being angry at Kemp etc., or us probably losing the Governorship of Colorado because Trump wants total obedience and would rather lose to a Democrat if the Republican does not bow down far enough, is just a Never Trumper.. We are NOT automatically Never Trumpers or RHINOS. A lot of us are Trump voters who are just sick of the childishness. When Trump was good he was very very good, but when he was bad he was horrid!
