H L Mencken who said, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace in a state of alarm (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary,” must be spinning in his crypt as he realizes with the Left, the hobgoblins are not imaginary and there is no safety to be led to. RIP America, it’s been fun.

That pretty much nails it. Day one we take back the Congress these issues must be tackled! If our GOPe are sheep, we will hold them accountable. I’ll be watching and contacting my own Texas 25th Congressional district rep Roger Williams closely. I want to see leadership on these serious issues from him pronto!

As on-point as every word in his essay is right this minute, I am reminded of what happened in Europe around 1938 and how good people did NOTHING to stop it. *I have started searching for every video ever made of VDH's speeches. Not me. I’m a free, thinking American. The moment they said natural immunity didn’t count, I was out of any consideration for their witches brew. Now, they have blown any trust relationship most Americans ever had with the medical and scientific community. Why? Because many of the current practitioners in leadership position are scientists. They are propaganda windbags.

VDH: "As interest rates soar, our $31 trillion national debt crowds out everything else in the budget." Conveniently avoided by this master of history is that $14 TRILLION of that debt was appropriated during the Trump Administration for those "fat government COVID subsidies", like Stimulus, PPP, and all the rest. But, that was "good spending" on borrowed money. Trying to make the case that the few TRILLION heaped on top under Biden is the source of inflation is nonsense, although like more gasoline tossed on the fire. We loved the easy money and hyped stock markets...never believing that markets don't ever grow to the sky. The litany of Democrat policies screwing up this country is spot on. The sad thing is the voting public bought the bull-shtuff in '20 and largely since, voting for those "reforms" in our major urban areas, electing Soros-backed DAs and judges, not unlike the surge of state secretaries of state a few years ago. Vox populi, vox bovine.

FTA: “ Rarely have voters turned over their country to radicals, socialists, and nihilists. We did in 2020.” I respectfully disagree. Americans turned nothing over to democrats. This whole debacle occurred because democrats stole the election and Republicans let them. My fear is that history will repeat itself and if that should happen, we are finished.

Nice try #7 but no cigar. Trump had a roaring economy, energy independence and lowest unemployment in decades - the deficit could have been dealt with as necessary. I don't believe that Trump would have allowed the amount of 'free money' that has been printed, so far, SINCE Biden's election - far more than just 'a few trillion'. It's STILL being printed today and THAT is the ONGOING source of of inflation. Once the Democrats got control of the money presses, there was no longer any limit and that is what is still feeding inflation on the back of a smashed economy thanks to Fauchi, Biden, Birx, the media hacks, liars and thieves. There are STILL a lot of people, from what I read, that have NOT gone back to work. Some of which have no intentions of going back to work and will be PAID ( supported ) FOREVER with tax money rather than PAYING taxes. Current unemployment numbers are technically lies since those who are NOT seeking employment are NOT counted as 'unemployed' making current unemployment FAR more that 3%. The revenue shortfalls will continue and the printing presses will continue to feed inflation by printing money to make up the shortfall. Stop trying to sugar coat what had been done and is STILL being done after the election was STOLEN.

FTA: “The country reportedly has a 25-day supply of diesel fuel--the energy source that runs the nation. Meanwhile, we keep draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve of oil--a commodity we have in abundance but refuse to produce fully. “We never fixed the supply-chain crisis of last year, and so still face shortages of key consumer goods.” Reality Check: The diesel fuel depletion’s impact on the supply-chain goes beyond food, gasoline, and utility costs in that it may well affect delivery/deprivation of life-saving medicines such as blood thinners, insulin, thyroid medicines, etc. Add to that threat, the depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve’s impact on military readiness to protect Americans may be in serious jeopardy. Unlike Europe, America has access to energy reserves within its boundaries, but accessing those energy reserves is being denied. Like Europe, Americans may be facing a “dark winter.”

As always, Rinktum, mega dittoes. These communists are not apologizing for, or changing their policies, and Biden blithely lies about inheriting an economy in a shambles, because I fear they think they will steal the 2022 elections the way they did 2020. In 2020, they were not fazed by the fact that their presidential candidate rarely left his basement, and when he did his crowds number in the 20s even as his opponent, President Donald J. Trump was commanding crowds of thousands and thousands. They knew the global deep state would steal that election and I think they are banking on the same thing happening in these mid-terms. If this election is stolen, our country truly is finished.

Now that the initial shock of the red wave that wasn’t has worn off and the anger over dramatic Republican underperformance in what should have been a massive year has somewhat subsided, it may be possible to rationally analyze why the Wisconsin GOP failed to capture the governor’s mansion. By winning a second term, Democrat Governor Tony Evers became the first man to win a gubernatorial election when his party controlled the White House in more than 30 years.Making his victory even more improbable was the fact that Republican Senator Ron Johnson won reelection on the same night.

The GOP’s lackluster performance on Tuesday speaks not only to the party’s fecklessness but also to the liberalism of the American people. Even if the GOP had run uniformly strong candidates, they would still have struggled to persuade Americans in thrall to left-wing propaganda. The truth is that whoever owns the culture in the end owns politics. The complacent assumption of many pundits is that politics revolves around the “economy, stupid.” But what truly animates politics is the culture that shapes voters. Whoever controls that culture usually wins. The American people are electing the pols they deserve, demagogues who mirror the woke prejudices of an increasingly propagandized people.

As evidenced by his seriously enthusiastic supporters who attended his various fall rallies around the country in Florida or Pennsylvania or Wisconsin or Ohio or elsewhere, the former president stands a very serious chance of winning.
