Biden’s riot act falls flat

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 11/3/2022 9:13:17 AM

Joe Biden wanted to give a stirring speech to rouse Americans to angry purpose about the threats to democracy represented by “election deniers” running for office across the country. He was, according to CNN’s reporting, spurred to action by the horrible attack last week on the husband of the speaker of the House, which Biden believes is a direct result of Donald Trump’s effect on the United States over the past seven years. So … that’s what he wanted. But, as the great philosopher Mick Jagger once said, you can’t always get what you want. The address he delivered Wednesday night wasn’t a forceful speech. It was a forceless speech.

I do not understand the term “election denier” in the context of the 2020 election. The writer’s own newspaper witnessed first hand the election manipulation of big media in hiding the laptop story. And there is much confirmation that mailin ballots were misused - and illegally so- greatly in 2020. So I don’t know what is supposedly being “denied” - in my view it would be the integrity of certain voting and unethical media practices, the occurrence of which is beyond dispute. I do not say there is somehow a way to reverse the 2020 election results. I was also unaware that Trump had called for a protester to be beat up. I was aware of the Veritas video of a Dim operative saying he was trying to get individuals to foment violence at Trump rallies. I would have to watch the video for myself before i would accept this writer’s conclusion. Or is all the above just to concede “Trump bad” now you concede “bidet pathetic”?

Why oh why did Jesse Watters have Karl "The Architect" Rove on his show last night puzzles me but that should be his last appearance anywhere after he mentioned (I paraphrase) January 6 and how all those insurrectionist that have been convicted proves Republicans are not a threat as we are prosecuting them. I'd like to see Karl locked up in the DC Gulag for almost 2 years with his Constitutional rights being violated. He might actually lose some weight.

I’m sure the speech was written by fake historian Jon Meachem. That explains why FJB was holding the guy’s recent book on Lincoln. Biden reading a book - who is he kidding? It amazes me that liberals think they can write books on Lincoln- it’s just because Lincoln sells.

Purpose of Biden’s Hate Speech last night was to assure the Democrat ballot box stuffers that they will not be prosecuted, let alone investigated, by the FBI and DoJ. Election corruption and theft are fine as long as these illegal acts are against the anti-democracy Republicans since the Repubs are somehow, some way anti democratic. As to article, it was a waste to both post and read. Agree completely with #4 and #5.

"Was the Jan. 6 attack horrendous?" Horrendous? No. A small amount of protestors got carried away and made a bit of a mess. It was in NO WAY a meaningful threat to the government. Nor was it a planned attack to achieve any type of insurrection. This type of thing is a common occurrence in progressive protests and dems think nothing of it. That it was a protest against progressives incensed them. HOW DARE THEY? "Are people who deny the results of the 2020 election wrong?" No. There have been numerous successful legal actions against voting practices the dems used in 2020. Dems planned and used illegal means to gather and process votes in numerous places. They have undermined confidence in a fair election. If I can photocopy votes and bring a whole stack in from my car to magically swing the election, THAT is what is wrong. Has Donald Trump “put the loyalty to himself above loyalty to the Constitution,” as Biden put it? No, Trump expects loyalty to Constitutional voting procedures as expressed in state rules for voting. He expected his administration to FIGHT to ensure those procedures were followed. People like Pence chose to not fight, like so many Loser Republicans. Trump was rightfully disappointed in them. Brandon is a dope. Yup. So is Podhoretz.
