Permissible and Impermissible Incendiary Speech?

United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) hit the airwaves to connect the recent assault on Paul Pelosi with “fascism” and “white nationalism.” She insists that both are now ubiquitous. And both prompt increasing politically motivated violence. (Ocasio-Cortez remains oblivious to the greatest sustained political violence in our recent history; the 120 days of Black Lives Matter and Antifa-fueled rioting, arson, looting, and mayhem of summer and fall 2020—often cheered on or defended by public officials and social media.) The deplorable violent attack on Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), has been described as the logical reification of increasing bitter political discourse. I know we all dislike Twitter, but maybe it’s time to go in there and put the libs in their place with facts. Point counter point don’t let them control the narrative anywhere.

Give idiots megaphones and they’ll shout nonsense. Doesn’t matter their political views. If you’re not receptive…well, sorry if you don’t agree. There has never been courtesy or decorum in politics. Revolutions begin with provocative speech that eventually invites violence. If the revolution succeeds those orators are called patriots. Sam Adams and Patrick Henry communicated some awful things if you were a loyal subject. And that Declaration of Independence… The problem is a conservative dependence on assumed logic that should lead discerning people from the craziness. It fails to account for the mindlessness rampant through society. What does a Kardashian say, or Oprah…or FPDT? Those at the watercooler? That’s the “logic” many apply. People vote and elect their governments. They get what the mob demands. And politicians play to their mob. Some have huge megaphones.

Someone described Nancy Pelosi as the queen of all Karen's. AOC is running a close second. Republicans attack Demon-Rats with words of fact!!! Demon-Rats attack conservatives with hate filled "feelings", and, as we saw recently in Die Fuher bidet's "Hitler Speech", actual threats of violence against MAGA conservatives (mirrored closely after by Tim Ryan)!!! AOC, if you want to stop political violence, look in the mirror and start there!!!!

MSNBC’s Joy Reid pushed another conspiracy theory of her own Monday night by suggesting that Republican polling firms were fixing results to favor their political party. "The ReidOut" host attacked polls continuing to suggest that Republican candidates are surging ahead of the midterm elections. In addition to claiming that their results were wrong, she insisted that there were part of an "insidious" plan to affect the media narrative. "If you get past those headlines and dig a little deeper, you would uncover an insidious and seemingly intentional campaign from Republican-backed polling firms to flood the zone and tip the balance of polling averages in favor of their candidates

It didn’t have to be this bad. History isn’t on President Joe Biden’s side heading into the 2022 midterms. The president’s party averages a loss of 28 House seats and four Senate seats in midterm elections. The present isn’t being kind to Joe Biden either. Inflation is out of control. Gas prices are sky-high from coast to coast. And Biden’s reputation for competence hasn’t recovered from the Afghanistan debacle, which showed the world his staff really aren’t the "adults in the room" they claim to be. Yet these headwinds only tell half the story. Joe Biden and Democrats have managed to make things worse. From attempting to buy off their base with marijuana

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are demanding that the Biden administration preserve documents related to the ongoing crisis at the southern border -- as Republicans lay the groundwork for investigations and hearings on the matter in the next Congress. Reps. Jim Jordan, the ranking member, and Tom McClintock, the ranking member of the immigration subcommittee, wrote to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding the agencies preserve documents and materials related to border security. "Committee Republicans intend to continue our oversight of the causes and consequences of the unprecedented Biden border crisis into the 118th Congress,"

The liberal New York Times has a popular podcast simply called “The Daily,” and unsurprisingly, it airs on nearly 300 taxpayer-funded National Public Radio stations across America. Host Michael Barbaro is so soft-spoken you could argue he is the anti-Limbaugh. But that does not mean he’s always calm and reasonable. On October 20, Barbaro brought on Times polling analyst Nate Cohn to discuss how the latest Times/Siena College poll contained ominous news for Democrats. The show began as a straightforward analysis of how Democrats grew optimistic about maintaining their control of Congress because the top issues were abortion, gun violence, and the January 6 Committee (aka “democracy”).

Election day is two weeks away, and the Left is freaking out about losses among minority voters such as Blacks, once a reliable base of support. The signs of the freakout are everywhere, but especially in the desperate, wacky, and downright insulting tactics they are currently employing to lure, nudge, and shame Blacks into voting for liberal candidates. Let's start with the insulting. MSNBC host Tiffany Cross slammed the Republican National Committee's slate of "diverse" Republican congressional candidates, saying "faces of color do not always equate to voices of color." She then tokenized minority Republicans, including those currently serving in Congress

Twelve days before the election, Democrats have yet to lose the House or Senate, or confront the dire, your-lab-results-are-back-and-the-doctor-needs-to-see-you implications for a progressive agenda. Plenty of prominent party voices, however, believe it’s best to prepare in advance. It is one of the more notable features of the 2022 midterms — the readiness to perform an autopsy on a living patient. Many Democrats believe there is already sufficient evidence to make the question unavoidable: What the hell is our problem?

The US dollar is flying high. For much of the world this is a tragedy, as currencies around the globe depreciate and economies come under strain as a result. But it's not just non-US citizens, businesses and governments that are feeling the pain. Some American businesses are also feeling headwinds on their revenues from the surging greenback. While American tourists relish their cheap holidays in the UK and Japan, and importers enjoy cheaper goods from abroad, US exporters and businesses with international operations are experiencing losses as their products and services become too expensive for foreign buyers.

Much like the inflation crisis created by misguided economic policies, violent crime is running rampant nationwide. Here in Philadelphia, over 400 homicides and 1,000 carjackings have already been reported thus far in 2022 – and those figures are not unique among major cities. Thanks to progressive leaders who refuse to enforce the law, violent criminals are roaming free and American families are left to feel unsafe. Just last week, Philadelphia’s “Conviction Integrity Unit” earned the praise of John Fetterman. This misguided program, implemented by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, allowed a convicted murderer to be back on the street, and last week he was arrested again for involvement in

Democrats who run the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) have blocked a freshman Latina Republican lawmaker from joining the group. Mayra Flores, who flipped a long-held Democratic House seat along the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year, said she was refused admission by the CHC because of her party affiliation. "As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open to working together," said Flores. "This denial once again proves a bias towards conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology." The CHC is the largest working group within Congress for lawmakers of Hispanic and Latino descent.

Democrats are privately "panicking" over Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman's debate performance Tuesday night and expressing regret over his decision to debate Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, according to NBC. The Democrat's lingering health problems due to a stroke he suffered in May resulted in a debate performance that some said was "painful to watch." Some Democrats felt Fetterman hadn't been transparent about the degree of his speaking difficulties and criticized his campaign for agreeing to the one and only debate. Our two parties have both changed, and that explains why one will win, and one lose in the midterm elections. The old Democrats have faded away after being overwhelmed by radicals and socialists. Moderates who once embraced former President Bill Clinton's opportunistic "third way" are now either irrelevant or nonexistent. Once considered too wacky and socialist to be taken seriously, Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the performance-art "squad," the radicals of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and her hard progressive wing are today's Democratic Party kingpins. The alienating radicals of Antifa and Black Lives Matter often serve as the new party's shock troops on the streets

President Joe Biden on Saturday again tried to blame Republicans for the attack on Paul Pelosi on Friday. “You can’t condemn the violence unless you condemn those people who continue to argue the election was not real, that it’s being stolen, that all the malarkey that’s being put out there to undermine democracy,” he said. The president spoke to reporters about the attack at a polling center in Delaware, where he voted early with his granddaughter Natalie Biden. “The talk has to stop. Republicans privately expect Attorney General Merrick Garland to indict former President Donald Trump between 60 and 90 days after the midterm elections, according to a report on Monday. GOP aides on Capitol Hill and former strategists said they do not have insider knowledge about an indictment on Trump, but they claim that a deadline to indict the former president is quickly approaching and Garland is facing heat from Democrats to act fast. CBS’s Sunday Morning started off with their anchor Jane Pauley fearmongering that if Republicans win in the 2022 midterm elections, “democracy” could end in the United States. Plugging an upcoming segment by correspondent Robert Costa, Pauley fretted that “the very future of our democracy” is on the ballot in 2022.  “This past summer, it was looking like the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade might offer an opportunity to the party in power, the Democrats. But a more recent issue, inflation, could very well rule the day. And favor Republicans,” Pauley bemoaned.

Here is a question for Republicans to consider before next week’s midterm elections: How far does former President Donald Trump have to go before the GOP kicks him out of the party? Put another way, will the Republican Party save itself before it has completely lost its soul? It has been equally disappointing to see so many Americans buy Trump’s “big lie” about the 2020 election. (snip) Trump continues corrupting the party of Lincoln
