Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Thursday that he has filed a lawsuit against Google for allegedly having "unlawfully" captured the biometric data of "millions of Texans" without their consent.
"Google's indiscriminate collection of the personal information of Texans, including very sensitive information like biometric identifiers, will not be tolerated," Paxton said in a statement.

Missing Princeton student Misrach Ewunetie was found dead Thursday — six days after she vanished, local officials announced.
The 20-year-old’s body was found behind the tennis courts near the edge of the Ivy League campus by a facilities employee, the office of the Mercer County Prosecutor said.
Authorities said they do not know her cause of death but noted that “there were no obvious signs of injury and her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature.” Her body was located around 1 p.m. Thursday.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain praised Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday for supporting Ukraine in combating Russian aggression.
Klain said McConnell has been the one of the administration’s “strongest supporters” in voicing support for Ukraine and its fight against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aggression, arguing that condemning the war should not be a partisan issue.

During a recent TV appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” show with host Nicolle Wallace, former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, a RINO (Republican in name only) political analyst with the network, compared MAGA Republicans to “lice,” “fleas” and “blood-sucking ticks” whom potential GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) would have to “lay down with” should conservatives win the majority in the upcoming midterm elections.
In early 2021 the RNC tasked 30 members for election suggestions to help the RNC compete. Election integrity experts like Seh Keshel, Proffessor Clements, Jeff O’Donell, Joe Hoft, or Dr. V. A. Shiva Ayyadurai, were not invited. Their “Committee on Election Integrity” report was released in August 2021. Most suggestions have not been deployed by the RNC.

Remember earlier this month when the news broke about a Vermont high school allowing a biologically male student to use the girl’s locker room? Well, there has been a new and disturbing development in this saga. A father who works at the school was suspended for speaking out against the policy after his daughter was made uncomfortable by the male student.
The situation began when the Daily Signal reported that two girls who are members of the Randolph High School’s volleyball team asked the boy, who identifies as a girl, to leave the locker room after he made an inappropriate comment.

In a scene that would not have even made the final cut for “Idiocracy,” four masked teenagers with guns were allegedly given access to a high school by two of its administrators who believed it was unsafe for them to stay outside because – wait for it – there were police officers nearby.
On September 14, security officers at Garret Morgan High School in Cleveland, Ohio, spotted the four teens approaching the school and proceeded to call 911. During the call, multiple people could be heard yelling to keep the school locked down and prohibit the gang from entering.
