Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has announced plans to rescue embattled Democrat candidates with a nationwide tour in the last two weekends before the midterm elections. Sanders, perhaps the most far-left member of Congress, will hold 19 campaign stops in the eight states of Oregon, California, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The tour is designed to “rally” radical Democrats to “confront daunting national headwinds” the left is facing come November, the New York Times reported. On Sept. 20, we reported on an outrageous subpoena served by the U.S. Justice Department on the Eagle Forum of Alabama. Fortunately, in the face of vigorous opposition expressed in amicus briefs filed by literally dozens of conservative organizations supporting the Eagle Forum’s motion to quash (i.e. throw out) the subpoena, Justice Department lawyers caved and narrowed their request, as the judge in the case put it, to “1%” of what they were demanding before.
It gets better. At a hearing on Oct. 14 on the motion, according to a transcript we have obtained, federal Judge Liles C. Burke castigated the Justice Department for its “vastly overbroad and unduly burdensome” subpoena
This week, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the soon-departing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, if it was a “mistake” for schools to be shuttered as long as they were during the COVID pandemic. “We should realize, and have realized,” Fauci answered, “that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that,” adding that he had “nothing to do” with schools closing.
This is a transparent legacy-saving revisionism.

I’ll have to admit, at this point I’m pretty steeped in the lies of Joe Biden. Admittedly, it’s hard to keep up with them, since there are so many of them–and the list is constantly growing. He’s been at it for a long time. Most infamously in the 1988 presidential race — the first time he ran for the office — he told all kinds of lies about his background and educational accomplishment. He also got nailed for plagiarism. But that was when we still held people to account for trying to deceive us, and he dropped out of the race after the scandal.

President Joe Biden on Friday acknowledged that polls were swinging toward Republicans and issued a last-minute economic warning to Americans if they took power.
