Female Democrat voters tell NY Times they're
shifting to GOP over economic concerns:
'It's all about cost'

Economic concerns and "intense" disapproval of President Biden are giving Republicans an edge with independent voters in the upcoming election, according to recent polling from The New York Times. A NYT/Siena College poll found independent female voters in particular swung dramatically to the right in the past month, despite Democrats' focus on abortion rights. "In September, they favored Democrats by 14 points. Now, independent women backed Republicans by 18 points— a striking swing given the polarization of the American electorate and how intensely Democrats have focused on that group and on the threat Republicans pose to abortion rights," the paper reported.

That is what we call a sea change. A third of independent women just went from one side to the other. Absent vigorous Democrat cheating, the 'Rats going to get electorally exterminated.

It doesn't matter if Republicans take both House and Senate by wide majorities. They still have to drain the swamp and unfortunately the GOPe still won't take a strong stand on this. Trump is the only candidate who has made this a priority. Ramona (the Pest)

If this NYT/Sinena poll is correct, dems are going to get an historic beatdown on November 8. I saw more encouragement over the weekend. RealClearPolitics has a data feature that accounts for under sampling by pollsters in Senate races. With the adjustment, Oz leads by 2.2 and Vance is up by almost double digits.

You know, it's possible that the difference was there all along. I for one find it hard to accept a thirty point swing in one month. An article I read in the last month suggested that the Polling Companies to save their reputations would hew to more accurate counts and poll questions of actual voters in order not to be embarrassed when they are exposed as either frauds or incompetents when the election occurs. That absolutely could account for the huge sudden swing in these polls as they clean up their act before the election next month.

Yet in the RealFakePolitics averages it still shows Biden with an average approval rating of 43%, so there is a huge disconnect here

Every MSM outlet always tout what women voters are going to do based on the notion that women shop and see prices increases, with the BS mindset that men don't notice this stuff. Men are the primary people who go to the gas pump. They see 401k balances diving. They talk amongst themselves about stock prices, international affairs, and crime. Those topics alone are reasons to eliminate every demoslut from every political position in the country. The difference is when voting, men don't vote with only their emotions.

Top 10 Scapegoats If Democrats Lose the Midterms 1 reply

Journalists and other left-wing activists are freaking out over a New York Times poll that shows Republicans leading Democrats by 4 percentage points among likely voters ahead of next month's midterm elections. They were particularly aggrieved by the poll's finding that Republicans were tied with Democrats at 47 percent among female voters and were supported by 34 percent of Hispanic voters and 18 percent of black voters. Those are terrible numbers for Democrats. We don't know how the election is going to play out, but at least one thing is guaranteed: If Democrats lose, they are going to blame everyone but themselves for the outcome.

A jury on Tuesday found Russian national Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source of the anti-Trump dossier, not guilty on all four counts of making false statements to the FBI. The charges had been brought by Special Counsel John Durham, who is investigating the origins of the FBI's original Trump-Russia investigation. The Danchenko trial is the second out of Durham's years-long investigation, and the second time a jury delivered an acquittal. Former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann was found not guilty of making false statements to the FBI in June.

After the rockets comes the propaganda — pro-Russian voices have claimed that wounded people in Kyiv were just actors staging their suffering. But a DW fact check shows that the victims are real. After a period of relative calm, war has returned to the Ukrainian capital in recent days as Russia continues its attacks on Kyiv. Bombardments were particularly intense on October 10, the day with the heaviest attacks since Russia's invasion began. According to official figures, 19 people were killed in Kyiv and other regions as a result, and 105 people were injured. In Kyiv alone, 43 people were hospitalized that day according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko

Top House Democrats Maxine Waters and James Clyburn have continued to shell out tens of thousands of dollars in campaign funds to their family members ahead of the November midterm elections. The re-election campaign for Waters, the U.S. House Financial Services Committee chairwoman, paid a total of $16,000 to the congresswoman's daughter in four separate payments in July and September of this year. Karen Waters, who has been organizing slate-mailing operations to bolster her mother's re-election since 2003, and her company, Progressive Connections, have received more than $1.2 million from Waters’ campaign over the past nearly two decades.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the government last Thursday showed an 8.2% year-over-year price increase from September 2021 to September 2022. The CPI has edged down steadily from a 40-year high of 9.1% in June to 8.2% in September. The official CPI does not tell the whole story of price increases under President Biden. Bidenflation, measured by the TIPP CPI using the same underlying data, stood at 12.8% in September. It was 12.6% in August and July and12.7% in June. We developed the TIPP CPI, a metric that uses February 2021, the month after President Biden’s inauguration, as its base.

In this age of hyper-partisanship and polarization, there is a dangerous trend in politics this election cycle: candidates refusing to face their opponents in debates. These candidates expect to win the job with no job interview. Their rationale? The organizations hosting the events are “partisan.” Some politicians are using this tiresome excuse to avoid answering tough questions and tackling issues that may be politically charged. Getting candidates on the record about issues and positions is integral to every debate and informs the voting public.

Georgia Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock and Libertarian businessman Chase Oliver took the stage Sunday night for the second Senate debate ahead of November's election, but Republican Herschel Walker was represented by an empty podium. Walker's absence was highlighted throughout the evening by Warnock, Oliver and debate moderators, who even gave the present candidates the opportunity to respond to an answer the former football star "might've" given. "I think it’s important to point out that my opponent Herschel Walker is not here, and I think that half of being a senator is showing up," Warnock said at the beginning of the debate.

In a speech Thursday at a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in California, Biden said Pakistan's nuclear stockpile is "without cohesion." Raphael Warnock, D-Ga. NBC News contributors, local news commentators, former Daily Beast writers, and even MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan acknowledged that the Walker’s debate performance was "not as bad as it could have been." One claimed that Warnock, the Democratic pro-choice pastor, looked weak and should have fought back harder against Walker’s aggressive criticism, and another even declared Walker the victor.

The trial of Igor Danchenko shows how much previous Special Counsel Robert Mueller either failed to include in or did not know about for his own report in his investigation on Russia interference in the 2016 election, constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley told Fox News. Turley made his observation Friday after Special Counsel John Durham rested his case and Judge Anthony Trenga threw out one count against Danchenko. Attorneys for Danchenko suggested they would not put forth a defense. Danchenko, a Russian national, pleaded not guilty last year to lying about the source of information that he provided to ex-MI6 Agent Christopher Steele for the much-discredited Trump-Russia dossier.
