The Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the government last Thursday showed an 8.2% year-over-year price increase from September 2021 to September 2022. The CPI has edged down steadily from a 40-year high of 9.1% in June to 8.2% in September. The official CPI does not tell the whole story of price increases under President Biden. Bidenflation, measured by the TIPP CPI using the same underlying data, stood at 12.8% in September. It was 12.6% in August and July and12.7% in June. We developed the TIPP CPI, a metric that uses February 2021, the month after President Biden’s inauguration, as its base.

Ask yourself, "Is America better off today than she was 2 years ago"? "Are you better off today than you were two years ago"? Then go vote your answer.

"Huge cutbacks"...where? Look at the list of "activities that have been reduced. #1...Entertainment, #2...Eating Out, #3 Holiday/Vacation Travel, #4 Big Ticket Item Purchases, #5 Memberships and Subscriptions... Anyone see anything but discretionary spending on this list? The shows or cable TV are essential, right? Eating out? Vacation travel? At best one can say a "big ticket item" if one of yours konks out and is irreparable. Things we need or really, really want cost more. And things we don't need and don't want that badly can wait. And the net result is that money is being spent at the same volume for fewer goods and services...or you have plenty going into savings. This "index" is cherry-picked nonsense packed with leading questions.

Several things about this article are way off. It ignores the surety of a stolen 2020 election, which put ludicrously unqualified individuals in key positions that commenting on their "performance" is laughable. Obama and Soros deliberately set this entire mess up to complete the intensional destruction of America. In short, we were had, and these people seem content to go along with it. Or, as 2 said, it might as well have been a stick-up!

I hate demoncraps and every single party under their umbrella with such a vitriolic and deep abiding hate that there are NO words. They own this, every single one of them. I can't even think of a punishment evil enough for them. Public executions need to be brought back in this country. Demoncraps hate America, her people, her culture and her values. They need to be jetisoned. Everyone here knows EXACTLY what will happen when they gain power in any form or function. They will destroy destroy destroy any gains made in every facet of American life. Everyone here needs to name and shame any and all family members, neighbors, coworkers and "friends" who are demoncraps. They need to be made to own what they've done to this country. I'll never understand how anyone could be a "friend" of one of these evil devils. Y'all better wake up. It's no longer a political issue. It's a moral issue. WAKE UP!

Top 10 Scapegoats If Democrats Lose the Midterms 13 replies

Journalists and other left-wing activists are freaking out over a New York Times poll that shows Republicans leading Democrats by 4 percentage points among likely voters ahead of next month's midterm elections. They were particularly aggrieved by the poll's finding that Republicans were tied with Democrats at 47 percent among female voters and were supported by 34 percent of Hispanic voters and 18 percent of black voters. Those are terrible numbers for Democrats. We don't know how the election is going to play out, but at least one thing is guaranteed: If Democrats lose, they are going to blame everyone but themselves for the outcome.

A jury on Tuesday found Russian national Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source of the anti-Trump dossier, not guilty on all four counts of making false statements to the FBI. The charges had been brought by Special Counsel John Durham, who is investigating the origins of the FBI's original Trump-Russia investigation. The Danchenko trial is the second out of Durham's years-long investigation, and the second time a jury delivered an acquittal. Former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann was found not guilty of making false statements to the FBI in June.

Republican lawmakers reacted to a report that first lady Jill Biden was upset that nobody tried to stop President Biden’s last solo press conference nine months ago. The New York Times reported on Sunday that, following the president’s latest solo press conference in January where he did not follow then-press secretary Jen Psaki’s cue to wrap it up, the first lady tore into top White House officials demanding to know why no one intervened. Several GOP lawmakers shared their thoughts on the report with Fox News Digital, with Rep. Austin Scott, R-Ga., quipping Jill "knows a train wreck when she sees one."

After the rockets comes the propaganda — pro-Russian voices have claimed that wounded people in Kyiv were just actors staging their suffering. But a DW fact check shows that the victims are real. After a period of relative calm, war has returned to the Ukrainian capital in recent days as Russia continues its attacks on Kyiv. Bombardments were particularly intense on October 10, the day with the heaviest attacks since Russia's invasion began. According to official figures, 19 people were killed in Kyiv and other regions as a result, and 105 people were injured. In Kyiv alone, 43 people were hospitalized that day according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko

The re-election campaign for Waters, the U.S. House Financial Services Committee chairwoman, paid a total of $16,000 to the congresswoman's daughter in four separate payments in July and September of this year. Karen Waters, who has been organizing slate-mailing operations to bolster her mother's re-election since 2003, and her company, Progressive Connections, have received more than $1.2 million from Waters’ campaign over the past nearly two decades.

Economic concerns and "intense" disapproval of President Biden are giving Republicans an edge with independent voters in the upcoming election, according to recent polling from The New York Times. A NYT/Siena College poll found independent female voters in particular swung dramatically to the right in the past month, despite Democrats' focus on abortion rights. "In September, they favored Democrats by 14 points. Now, independent women backed Republicans by 18 points— a striking swing given the polarization of the American electorate and how intensely Democrats have focused on that group and on the threat Republicans pose to abortion rights," the paper reported.

In this age of hyper-partisanship and polarization, there is a dangerous trend in politics this election cycle: candidates refusing to face their opponents in debates. These candidates expect to win the job with no job interview. Their rationale? The organizations hosting the events are “partisan.” Some politicians are using this tiresome excuse to avoid answering tough questions and tackling issues that may be politically charged. Getting candidates on the record about issues and positions is integral to every debate and informs the voting public.

Walker's absence was highlighted throughout the evening by Warnock, Oliver and debate moderators, who even gave the present candidates the opportunity to respond to an answer the former football star "might've" given. "I think it’s important to point out that my opponent Herschel Walker is not here, and I think that half of being a senator is showing up," Warnock said at the beginning of the debate.

The trial of Igor Danchenko shows how much previous Special Counsel Robert Mueller either failed to include in or did not know about for his own report in his investigation on Russia interference in the 2016 election, constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley told Fox News. Turley made his observation Friday after Special Counsel John Durham rested his case and Judge Anthony Trenga threw out one count against Danchenko. Attorneys for Danchenko suggested they would not put forth a defense. Danchenko, a Russian national, pleaded not guilty last year to lying about the source of information that he provided to ex-MI6 Agent Christopher Steele for the much-discredited Trump-Russia dossier.
