The stock market continued its downward spiral on Thursday as the economy struggles to cope with Democrats’ reckless spending adding fuel to runaway inflation. All three benchmark indexes closed under their opening value with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down more than 450 points. The NASDAQ dropped nearly 3 percent Thursday and the S&P 500 fell by nearly 80 points. The Dow’s decline marks a continued trend since the signature passage of President Joe Biden’s dubiously named “Inflation Reduction Act” on Aug. 16. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has now fallen nearly 5,000 points, or more than 14 percent, in the aftermath of Biden’s bill becoming law.

A campaign adviser to Florida governor Ron DeSantis accused Vice President Kamala Harris of causing “undue panic” with her suggestion that Hurricane Ian–relief aid should be distributed “based on equity.” Harris said Friday that those in lower-income communities and people of color are “most impacted by these extreme conditions,” and “we are all thinking about the families in Florida and Puerto Rico with [Hurricane] Fiona and what we need to do to help them in terms of an immediate response and aid.” Speaking during the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s Leadership Forum, she said: “We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity,

The New York attorney general is angling to get her case accusing Donald Trump and his company of fraud to trial by the end of next year - before the first primaries in the 2024 presidential election. Letitia James´ office, which filed the lawsuit last week, assigned the case to a state court judge who repeatedly ruled against the former president in related subpoena disputes - including holding him in contempt, fining him $110,000 and forcing him to sit for a deposition. Trump's lawyers are also objecting to Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron's continued involvement and accused Attorney General Letitia James´ office of attempting to 'judge shop' because,

Progressive Democrats are reeling over President Joe Biden's decision to change the qualifications for student loan forgiveness not to include some non-federal government debts as the administration faces impending lawsuits over the relief plan. The White House quietly announced a change in its student debt forgiveness program on Thursday that could exclude up to 4 million borrowers with private loans backed by the government. The change was so quiet, in fact, that lawmakers weren't even informed of the altering qualifications. Democratic Representative Yvette Clarke said the change need to be 'revisited' to not 'dash' the hopes of people who thought they were receiving relief and now will not.

The move comes just two days after the president, 79, erroneously called out for Walorski at a speech in Washington on Wednesday. White House officials stumbled to spin the latest of the president's gaffes in the immediate aftermath, with Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying that the Indiana congresswoman was just on the 'top' of Biden's mind because of the bill signing.

After recent FBI raids on conservative figures, including the former President of the United States, speculation has grown that the agency is in bed with Democrats. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is alleging that the FBI is engaging in the “purge” of Republican employees who hold conservative viewpoints. In the past several weeks, they've raided the home of a former president, taking the phone of a sitting member of Congress, and we saw what they did to the pastor and his family and seven children: 20 agents, guns drawn, going to his house, when the local officials said there was no crime whatsoever,” Jordan said, criticizing the FBI.

The S&P and Nasdaq fared even worse, with the latter being over 31 percent off its high since Joe Biden took office. What makes all this especially stupid, though, is that less than a year ago, the White House took a victory lap over the stock market. Biden’s Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, went on social media to

But at the end of the remarks (his wife wasn’t there), he suddenly turned off to his right and wandered off as the FEMA Director called after him and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas looked worried and surprised. The handlers had to chase after him and pull him out of the staff area. Now, not only is he getting lost,
