Bill Maher Suggests Kamala Harris Be Jettisoned
From the 2024 Ticket, Liberal Audience Applauds

The liberal comedian and host of the eponymous Real Time With Bill Maher told his audience Friday night that although he considered President Joe Biden’s place on the Democratic ticket for the president in 2024 to be a done deal, he could “see” dumping Vice President Kamala Harris. The audience erupted in applause, showing that even the Left doesn’t think she has what it takes. The surprising moment occurred while he was hosting a panel with Atlantic staff writer Caitlin Flanagan and CNN “Whitelash” commentator Van Jones. They spent most of the segment trying to put lipstick on a pig

Bill, you're wrong again. The mentally impaired Demented Fuhrer will get much more mentally impaired during the next 12 months. His handlers will attempt to hide him and when he appears, he will simply be told to read what's on the teleprompter. My speculation is in Jan-Feb 2023 he will announce that he's not running. Gives the Rats time to choose a replacement.

VP Matressback Harris is dumber than a box of rocks, evil, a huge racist, and just a terrible woman who got where she is by "servicing" Willie Brown. Sadly, that makes her pretty much the most qualified Demon-Rat to be on the ticket with Senile Joe bidet in 2024. The fact that the rest of the Demon-Rats are even worse than her (as terrible as she is) speaks volumes!!!

Most of the segment was Bill and his panel making apologies for Biden's gaffes ("Where's Jackie? Oh, she's dead") and admiring how much he's done compared to Trump. Maher admits that any Presidential debates in 2024 will be a disaster for Biden but we shouldn't expect too much from such an aged statesman. HIs objection to Harris was really a critique of Democrat's identity politics but Van Jones pointed out that the reason Trump [the womanizer] picked Mike Pence was because he was a Christian Evangelical which was also just identity politics for the right. It's interesting that so much of Maher's schtick is still dependent on Trumpian memes. He must really be living inside their heads. These people are stuck in a TDS bubble of their own creation and if the Trump endorsed candidates do well in November, I'm afraid their heads will explode.

She is not going anywhere. Joe needs her in place to stop any impeachment proceedings. Even he knows that she is horrible and that he is better than she even though that is not saying much.

Doomsday for Democrats in Nevada 3 replies

To this point, the US Senate race in Pennsylvania has taken top billing in election-related discussions. Republican Mehmet Oz had closed the gap with Democrat John Fetterman to make it a true toss-up as the latter’s health issues have started to weigh on the electorate. But there’s another race going on that is not only just as big but appears to be favoring the GOP in a way that could ultimately deliver control of the Senate. I’m talking about Nevada, where Republican Adam Laxalt is facing off against Democrat incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez-Mastro. Sunday delivered another round of fresh polling, and Republicans are winning across the board.
Savage FBI Draft Letter Firing Peter Strzok

Former FBI official Peter Strzok was fired in disgrace after concerning anti-Trump messages between himself and FBI lawyer Lisa Page came to light. He is suing, claiming that his privacy was violated and alleging wrongful termination. He is claiming his firing was political and his attorneys deposed the guy who fired him, David Bowdich, who was the deputy director of the FBI. Part of the DOJ response was to attach a draft of the letter for Strzok’s firing to show he wasn’t fired for political reasons. The letter is a brutal takedown, outlining how bad what Strzok did was and how much it hurt the reputation of the FBI, according to Bowdich.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) called for new House Democratic leadership after a vote to ban congressional lawmakers from trading stocks was stalled indefinitely in the lower chamber. On Tuesday, Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) introduced the Combatting Financial Conflicts of Interest in Government Act prohibiting senior government officials and their family members from trading stocks after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) directed her to craft the legislation in February. However, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) indicated that the bill would not be voted on before the midterms. “Probably no vote this week,” Hoyer told CNN on Friday, as congressional members leave to focus on their campaigns ahead of the midterm elections on November 8.

Kyiv, Ukraine - Russian forces retreated from Lyman, a strategic city for its operations in the east, the Russian defense ministry said Saturday, just a day after Moscow's annexation of the region that's been declared illegal by the West. "In connection with the creation of a threat of encirclement, allied troops were withdrawn from the settlement of Krasny Liman to more advantageous lines," the ministry said on Telegram, using the Russian name for the town of Lyman. Russian state media Russia-24 reported that the reason for Russia's withdrawal was because "the enemy used both Western-made artillery and intelligence from North Atlantic alliance countries."

But, alas, Hurricane Ian intervened, and the Committee temporarily postponed the “Fall Season” of the hearings so as not to share the news cycle with an act of God. No big announcements about Ginny Thomas would be forthcoming

The teachers’ union-backed campaign to overturn school-choice expansion in Arizona has failed due to a shortfall in signatures, the state’s secretary of state announced Thursday. Under the expansion of Arizona’s universal-voucher program, known as the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), enacted in June, over one million K-12 public school students in the state will become eligible to receive vouchers to fund their attendance at private, charter, or home schools, up from the 11,000 students who are currently eligible. To subject the expansion to a referendum, the anti-school-choice advocacy group Save Our Schools Arizona had to collect 118,823 valid signatures.

A late ruling yesterday in federal court delivered a setback for Pacific Legal Foundation in its lawsuit against Biden’s Academia bailout. However, the circumstances that prompted it may have delivered even more fodder for six states suing the Biden administration. Let’s start with the first domino to fall. The Biden administration suddenly reversed course on providing comprehensive and compulsory student-loan debt forgiveness yesterday after seeing the PLF complaint. The Department of Education changed the rules to undercut Frank Garrison’s standing in the first lawsuit, and to head off part of the complaint filed later in the week by the six states: In a remarkable reversal

Since invading its western neighbor in February, Russian forces have suffered heavy losses, and have more recently been pushed back toward their own border after a Ukrainian counter-offensive found success. In spite of the recent military setbacks, Putin asserted that “the citizens of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhia, and Kherson have become our citizens forever,” directly addressing Ukraine’s government and “its real masters in the West.”

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a law Friday that will decriminalize jaywalking across California, ending the familiar practice of police handing out tickets to pedestrians on the argument that the law is enforced more often against minorities than other people. The new law, AB 2147, known as the “Freedom to Walk Act,” could bring an end to a cultural difference that has marked otherwise libertine Californians as being uniquely deferential to laws governing pedestrian traffic. The difference between Californians, who ostensibly tend to obey “don’t walk” signals, and urban dwellers elsewhere in the country, who are notoriously defiant when it comes to crossing against traffic signals, was lampooned

WASHINGTON — Republicans are abandoning their long crusade to repeal the Affordable Care Act, making the 2022 election the first in more than a decade that won’t be fought over whether to protect or undo President Barack Obama’s signature achievement. The diminished appetite for repeal means the law — which has extended health care coverage to millions of people and survived numerous near-death experiences in Congress and the courts — now appears safer than ever. With slightly more than a month before the next election, Republicans in Congress and on the campaign trail aren’t making an issue of Obamacare.

The new price break policy will cover 80 per cent of regular consumption in a bid to try and get Germans to use less gas and make the scenario of shortages less likely.

This week’s mystery has initiated a storm of speculation: What happened to cause leaks in Russia’s Nord Stream 1 and 2, designed to send gas to Germany? A good example of more rational speculation is by Jed Babbin at the Spectator: He thinks Russia is the most likely suspect: Germany, Sweden, the United States, and other NATO nations would not have attacked the pipelines. There has been some speculation among U.S. conservatives that we were responsible for the pipeline attacks.
