The death in police custody of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian Kurdish woman, has ignited nationwide protests across Iran. Amini was beaten to death by the mullahs’ morality police after she was detained in Tehran on 13 September, after failing to comply with the regime’s strict hijab (headscarf) rules. Women in Iran have been treated as second-class citizens by the mullahs for more than four decades. The misogynist lunacy of the clerical regime has even extended to a demand by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei that cartoon character women must wear the hijab. Now, in Iran, even animated female characters in cartoons cannot reveal their hair!

Folks in Florida have been coping with the bad conditions from Hurricane Ian. We posted about some of the wild conditions that the people were going through down there. Gov. Ron DeSantis seems to be doing a round-the-clock effort to make sure that things are getting done to help people in his state, and he’s been working hand and glove with FEMA to facilitate their actions for his people.

The media and the Democrats in office want you to think that Hurricane Ian, currently barreling down on Florida, is the fault of climate change. They’ve been pushing it all day, resulting in some seriously embarrassing moments, especially for CNN’s Don Lemon.
One thing’s for sure; they think you’re stupid.
Democrats want to convince you that they can somehow control the weather and that all we need to do to prevent natural disasters is give them power. That’s either unmitigated hubris coming from Democrats or malicious lies. Maybe both?

The left's current prophecy of doom is that the "MAGA" movement is a grave threat to democracy, propelling the nation into fascism. Their knee-jerk reaction is intended to attack and destroy Donald Trump, leader of the insurrection. The latest ploy, initiated by the New York attorney general, is to sue the Trump organization for fraudulent loan procurement practices, a suit apparently not raised by any of the principals involved, but by her. Eliminating Trump will eliminate the specter of fascism. Did killing Lincoln restore the Confederacy?

The Democrat, who had a massive stroke in May after ignoring his doctor for half a decade, has put in some disturbing, uncomfortable performances over the last month or so, and Monday was no different.

Three of the migrants who were flown in by Gov. DeSantis to Martha’s Vineyard filed a lawsuit against the Florida governor claiming that they were somehow lured to the sanctuary island.
The lawsuit is completely baseless since the “false promises and false representations” that the migrants would get “employment, housing, educational opportunities” were actually copied by Florida from a brochure put out by the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants.
It’s Massachusetts and the elites of Martha’s Vineyard who refused to honor their promises.
