Georgia Democrats are wringing their hands about the lackluster performance of their gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams, in her long-anticipated rematch with incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. They kept their worries to themselves until the New York Times ran a story last Wednesday that highlighted complaints by local Democrats that she hasn’t bothered to reach out to crucial constituencies. It appears that Abrams, having been showered by obsequious media coverage since Kemp defeated her in 2018, was overconfident about her chances of beating him this year and took her base supporters for granted.

Joe Biden on Monday said ending cancer 'as we know it' was one of the reasons he ran for president as he supercharged his 'Cancer Moonshot' initiative with a shot of glamour from the Kennedy family.
Biden, who wants to cut cancer deaths in half over the next 25 years, said cancer can be transformed into a disease that can be managed and lived with. He issued his new call to arms at the John F. Kennedy Library, on the 60th anniversary of Prsident Kennedy's famous 'Moonshot' speech, where JFK rallied America to beat Russia to the moon—which was accomplished in 1969.

As we reported earlier, there have been a lot of questions being raised about John Fetterman’s ability to take on the job he’s running for given the way that he has been sounding during his public remarks. His latest remarks at a pro-abortion rally raise even more questions. He characterizes questions as making fun of the stroke he had in May, but his ability to perform the job is part of what people will be evaluated when deciding whether to vote for him. Casting it as “making fun of him” is trying to deflect from those legitimate questions.
Fetterman has been wearing hoodies and neck coverings for some time.

Chuck Todd, host of NBC's "Meet the Press," asked Vice President Kamala Harris in recorded interview on Friday: "Since we're here in Texas, I want to ask you about the border. Would you call the border secure?"
Harris said it was. She said:
"I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do, the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship. The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,"

Chick-fil-A scrambled to explain itself after a reply to a customer with the phrase “your community” sparked allegations of racism.
The social media backlash began last Friday after one user tweeted the message “grilled spicy deluxe but still noooo spicy nuggets” to the fast-food giant’s official account. “Your community will be the first to know if spicy items are added to the permanent menu, Don!” Chick-fil-A’s account responded. A review of Chick-fil-A’s social media account showed the company has frequently used the phrase in recent days to convey they will announce when spicy chicken nuggets return to their menu in specific areas.

Now you are going to see why it was necessary to write the previous article about the Trump -v- Clinton lawsuit.
We must stop pretending. Everyone, including everyone who reads here and specifically SSCI Chairman Mark Warner, already knows what is in those documents from Mar-a-Lago. Those documents contain the evidence of the collective government effort to target candidate Trump and then effectively remove President Trump. THAT effort included the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Stop pretending.
Senator Mark Warner was at the heart of the legislative branch effort in the aftermath of the failed attempt to stop candidate Trump from winning the 2016 election. Senator Warner specifically

The sound of Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson on Friday's PBS NewsHour underlined how there is no debate and no democracy on PBS. They put on a RINO who says the GOP is simply awful, and the liberal on the panel says "Oh, I agree!" Republicans pay taxes to be painted as awful for opposing the murder of unborn babies.
Gerson was the chief speechwriter for President George W. Bush, a moderate Christian conservative. Bush nominated Justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the majority opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, bared almost all at a New York Fashion Week show Saturday.
Emhoff, 23, was walking the runway for Prabal Gurung at UN Plaza when her left breast fell into full sight of the photographers and spectators, the New York Post reported. At the time, she was modeling a sheer lime-green “top” that wasn’t really more than a poorly-wrapped scarf around her neck and chest when the incident occurred, and it’s unclear whether it was intentional or not.
The look was paired with a black mini skirt, sandals, and long black gloves,

At some point, these horrible RINOs will notice there is no one standing behind them. RINO Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Rounds, Kevin Kramer slammed Trump and said “pardons for January 6 protesters was a bad idea.” These same senators have SAID NOTHING about the men and women imprisoned today without trial following the January 6 protests. Don’t fool yourself, they don’t care if ANY Trump supporter rots in prison.CORRECTION*

We live in an era of stark political division, but there's at least one aspect of politics both sides agree on: a maximum age limit for elected officials. Most feel that after a certain age they should not be permitted to hold office.
There isn't just agreement across political lines, but across demographic groups, like age, too. Young and old, including seniors, favor maximum age limits for elected officials.
And far more Americans believe additional young people in elected office would be a positive for U.S. politics than a negative. (snip) Age 70 is the top answer chosen.

In comparison to Joe Biden, Barack Obama appears to be a picture of probity, wisdom, and dignity.
But in reality, he's just a more unflappable liar, and now that Democrats are on the rocks in the polls, he's cribbed a page from Ronald Reagan, a man he's always had a curious fascination for, claiming that: “The country is better off than when you took office. We should all be deeply grateful for that.”
If Obama were ask that as a question, the way Reagan once did, the open-ended answer would not have been to his liking, so Obama supplied the answer, too.
He was all gaslighting.

The Justice Department issued 40 subpoenas seeking information about the actions of former President Donald J. Trump and his associates in relation to the 2020 election and the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.
Boris Epshteyn and Mike Roman, who were both Trump advisers, have had their phones seized as evidence reports the New York Times, however the new subpoenas have been issued for a wide variety of people around Trump, from low-level aides to his most senior advisers. The action represents something of an escalation in the investigation coming just two months before the midterm elections, following several months of relative calm.
