Moonshot' with JFK's daughter on 60th
anniversary of 'Moonshot' speech and vows
to 'speed breakthroughs' and slash deaths

Joe Biden on Monday said ending cancer 'as we know it' was one of the reasons he ran for president as he supercharged his 'Cancer Moonshot' initiative with a shot of glamour from the Kennedy family. Biden, who wants to cut cancer deaths in half over the next 25 years, said cancer can be transformed into a disease that can be managed and lived with. He issued his new call to arms at the John F. Kennedy Library, on the 60th anniversary of Prsident Kennedy's famous 'Moonshot' speech, where JFK rallied America to beat Russia to the moon—which was accomplished in 1969.

How many times have we funded research to find cure for cancer over the last 60 years? How many times have we rebuilt "critical infrastructure" like bridges and highways? (when in reality it's all about "refurbishing" a politician's re-election campaign) Saddling our great-great-...-grandchildren with debt is not sustainable. By the way, dumb-Joe, curing cancer does not reduce death. Clever people simply find other ways to die.

Well, Diaper Joe, based on his current 'successful' policies will have cancer deaths at 100% before his 'reelection'. Every Dem in my adult lifetime have launched a war to cure cancer. Blah Blah Blah... Nixon already did it. Then after an huge budget and a dozen years there was nothing to show for it. Just a big pile of government granted virus researchers not finding any one virus culprit or in many cases any culprit at all. So most of them switched over to researching AIDs when those grants came along. There is a difference in engineering and scientific research. Engineering applies established theories. Science searches for those theories. The moonshot was engineering. The search for a cure for all cancers requires scientific research.

I've done engineering and I've done R&D. Totally different things. Engineering you understand all the relevant factors, and have to create solutions with the available materials, in time, on a budget, and with the equipment reliable enough. R&D means "Research & Development". When we did that what we said to each other was, "If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be R&D, it would be engineering." And we knew we could NEVER promise results in a certain time frame.....or AT ALL. Sometimes we figured it out, often times, not. Joe is, as usual, a lying pile of mule manure. They can't do it.

In 25 years Biden will be an afterthought. Who knows maybe as the November election draws closer Biden will come out next week and claim that he has signed another Executive Order directing the Federal Government to take action ending heart disease in 25 years. Anyone who believes that the Federal Government, that can’t even control America’s borders is going to wipe out cancer and maybe heart disease due to Biden signing Executive Orders, is either completely stupid or is in need of a check up from the neck up. This is just another cynical political ploy by Biden and the Democrats to try to grab the votes of people who have had cancer strike their family members and friends, remember beyond all, that this is but another example of the political power hungry Democrats trying to stay in power indefinitely.

Then President Nixon declared War on Cancer in 1971. Here is a quote from the wikipedia entry on the subject. "Though there has been significant progress in the understanding of cancer biology, risk factors, treatments, and prognosis of some types of cancer (such as childhood leukemia[2]) since the inception of the National Cancer Act of 1971, progress in reducing the overall cancer mortality rate has been disappointing.[5][32] Many types of cancer remain largely incurable (such as pancreatic cancer[44]) and the overall death rate from cancer has not decreased appreciably since the 1970s.[45] The death rate for cancer in the U.S., adjusted for population size and age, dropped only 5 percent from 1950 to 2005.[3]." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_on_cancer#:~:text=National%20Cancer%20Act%20of%201971,-External%20video&text=The%20act%20was%20intended%20%22to,Nixon%20on%20December%2023%2C%201971.

Especially considering the “demographic winter,” which is so evident in Spain and Italy. “In Italy there are empty villages with just twenty old ladies and nothing else,” he said. “Why can’t we make a policy in the West where immigrants are included with the principle that the migrant should be welcomed, accompanied, promoted, and integrated?” he asked.

President Joe Biden on Thursday denounced Republican governors as 'unAmerican' for the way they were playing political games with migrants, after more than 100 were dumped outside the vice president's official residence and others were flown to Martha's Vineyard. It marked the latest salvo in an increasingly bitter row over the thousands of people crossing the border daily. Republicans have stepped up their attacks on the Biden administration as they try to make immigration the theme of November's midterm elections. Biden hit back as he addressed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Gala. 'Republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props,' he said.

The Biden administration is sending another $600 million in military aid to Ukraine, the State Department announced on Thursday, as the U.S. rushes more weapons to fuel Kyiv's counteroffensive against Russia. The White House said it was the 21st time that the Defense Department has pulled weapons and other equipment off the shelves to deliver to Ukraine. The package will include more of the same types of ammunition and equipment that have helped Ukrainian forces beat back the Russian forces in portions of the east and south.

There has been a creeping meme among some Republican voters indicating that they will refuse to vote because they are fed up with congressional Republicans. They are telling everyone who will listen how horrible congressional Republicans are and are asking, "Why vote when our representatives do nothing and get nothing done?" People who advocate not voting are advocating surrender to the leftist mob and surrender to Democrats who have ruined a perfectly good country. They are recommending surrender to the leftists who are persecuting Republican conservatives. There is no other way to read this: If you won't vote, you turn the reins of what power you have over to Democrats.

Rome—Pope Francis urged Westerners to be more open to immigration Thursday, insisting that it is a necessary antidote to the West’s “demographic winter.” In forgetting how to welcome migrants, the West lost much, because it “needs people,” the pontiff told reporters during his return flight from Kazakhstan to Rome.

With red lights flashing nearly everywhere, the economy’s prospects look grim. Soaring inflation, crashing home sales, plunging GDP, falling real incomes. No question, the economy is a mess. So why is the Biden administration saying things are going better? It’s not just this week’s “unexpected” 8.3% inflation jump. Or the scary plunge in stock prices, destroying trillions of dollars in household wealth in just days. It’s that the ruling party, the Democratic Party, seems utterly oblivious to the damage it’s done. This week, President Joe Biden touted the “progress”

Less than half of Americans can name the three branches of the federal government—executive, legislative and judicial—according to an annual survey of civics knowledge conducted for the Constitution Day holiday on Saturday. Respondents to the Annenberg Public Policy Center’s survey also had little understanding of the impact of a Supreme Court ruling, and few could enumerate the freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment. “My impression is that even in prestigious universities, maybe 30% of all students could pass the civics test required of incoming immigrants,” said Joseph Ellis, a Pulitzer Prize-winning constitutional historian.(Snip)One-quarter of respondents could not name even one branch of the federal government,

Illegal immigrants who were flown in unannounced to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday are now being moved to a military base in Cape Cod. The 50 migrants have been put on buses by Gov. Charlie Baker to travel the 32 miles to Joint Base in Cape Cod (JBCC) just 48 hours after they landed in the billionaire’s enclave. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew in the immigrants from Venezuela on Wednesday, sparking a widespread cry of outrage from the liberal leaders of the small island in Massachusetts. It was declared a humanitarian emergency, with the island leaders responding in the same way as a hurricane.

Guests at Disney World in Florida are complaining about the outrageous cost for average families to visit the resort while griping about broken-down, faulty rides, dirty facilities, and filth littering the walkways and attractions. CEO Bob Chapek has overseen Disney’s expanding immoral wokeness while hiking prices into the stratosphere and allowing the resort to devolve into disrepair under his watch. Social media is being flooded with complaints by visitors who are relentlessly bashing the Happiest Place on Earth while carping that Chapek is obsessed with cutting costs and raising prices instead of reinvesting in the resort, according to the New York Post.

The tony vacation redoubt of Martha's Vineyard is freaking out over 50 illegal migrants, deposited at its door by Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis, who flew them in. Seems the ritzy sanctuary island in the sanctuary state of Massachusetts is being forced to 'celebrate diversity' and they're not happy about it. According to the New York Post: The posh liberal enclave of Martha’s Vineyard has been thrown into chaos by the arrival of two planeloads of migrants sent there by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to local reports. Roughly 50 migrants were flown to the famed Massachusetts island — constituting what the local tourism board called a “humanitarian crisis’’ Thursday.

New Orleans overtook St. Louis as the US murder capital in the first half of this year, as the city struggles with its lowest police staffing level in modern history amid a crisis of officer morale. In the first six months of 2022, New Orleans recorded 41 murders per 100,000 population, a higher homicide rate than any other US city, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of data from the Major Cities Chiefs Association. By comparison, the first-half murder rate per 100,000 was 11.5 in Chicago, 4.8 in Los Angeles and 2.4 in New York City. In New Orleans, the homicide rate has soared 141 percent compared with

President Joe Biden warned Vladmir Putin to avoid using nuclear weapons as his forces are beaten back in Ukraine or face 'consequences.' In a preview for this Sunday's 60 Minutes, Scott Pelley asked the president what words he would have for his Russian counterpart if he is considering using chemical or tactical nuclear weapons in the Ukraine. Biden responded: 'Don't. Don't. Don't. You will change the face of war unlike anything since World War II.' When Pelley pushed the president for America's response should Putin cross the line, Biden declined to comment on a specific plan,

Fox News commentators Tucker Carlson and Jesse Watters hit back against woke documentary filmmaker Ken Burns for his tone deaf comparison between sending migrants to Martha's Vineyard and the Holocaust. Burns, who was making the talk show rounds to tout his three-part series exploring the U.S. action and inaction during the Nazi atrocities during World War II, couldn't help but see the correlation between the genocide and a political maneuver by Governor Ron DeSantis. The Florida Republican made headlines on Thursday morning after sending a plane of migrants to the tony vacation spot off Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a regular vacation spot of the Kennedys.
