Joe Biden is going to give a prime-time address to the nation Thursday evening in order to warn us that Republicans want to destroy America. What does he mean by that? Last week, the president addressed a Democratic National Committee event in Maryland where he spelled out exactly the line of attack against Republicans he will deliver on Thursday night. “They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace — political violence. They don’t believe in democracy,” he said. “This is why, in this moment, those of you who love this country — Democrats, independents, mainstream Republicans — we must be stronger, more determined, and more committed to saving America

Something strange is going on with Gina Carano’s Twitter account. Namely, as of the present (September 4), it’s not there. The account was active as recently as August 27th. The question is whether Carano deleted her account or Twitter deleted it for her. Usually, when Twitter pulls the plug it suspends the account, such as what it did to President Trump. Carano’s account “no longer exists,” which in Twitter talk means the user deleted it him or herself. This is possible, but this seems unlikely given how Carano freely and frequently used her account to publicize both her conservative views and different acting endeavors

The poll asked respondents, “Hypothetically, if the 2024 election for President were held today and the candidates were Joe Biden, the Democrat, and Donald Trump, the Republican, for whom would you vote?” Fifty percent chose Biden, while only 44 percent selected Trump. Six percent were undecided. In March, the poll had both Biden and Trump tied at 45 percent with nine percent undecided. But then I realized it is not a coincidence that observers labeled Biden’s speech “dark” or that the stage was literally dark.
