President Donald Trump argued Monday that he should be declared the winner of the 2020 election, citing fraud and election interference by the FBI.
The former president pointed to reports that the FBI worked to bury the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop on social media right before the 2020 election.
“This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country,” Trump wrote on social media.
Trump said the FBI purposefully tried to stop him from winning the 2020 election.
He proposed two solutions.
“REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution,

Yes. The illegal votes should not be counted. Conduct a legal election. Biden will always be illegitimate, and so will the 2 Senators from Georgia.

Trump is making himself look foolish.
No way in hell will he ever have the Biden win changed. It just won't happen.
Yes: He was cheated, and Yes: the FBI was a partner in that cheat, but having himself appointed President is not going to happen.
It cannot happen, there is no way listed anywhere i this country to remove a sitting President except by impeachment which definitely should hap-pen , but even if it did there is a line of people who would be appointed ahead of Trump, and they are all Democrats.
He needs to stop making stupid remarks and work on getting a Republican president he can count on to act as he did when he was President.

Reverse the R to a D and then ask yourself what would happen if the FBI acted to get a Republican elected. There would be all kinds of remedies applied to reverse first the certifications and then the results. The GOP has no fight in them. It is sickening.

I love him lots and will vote for him in 2024, and why doesn' t some lawyer who cares about him ask him who exactly is going to make that decision, and chasing it down, clarify that he is empowering judges to overturn elections. As it stands the constitutions says that this decision is made by the electoral college. That is the rule, and those people voted for joe Biden. Should not have but did, and this system puts questionable cases in the hands of electors. And there Is Not a better system. Biden was the wrong choice and the electoral college did it wrong but even so the system is they are the Deciders and they decided and That is That. I think there was fraud all over, and it needs to be fixed, but the system is, dodgy cases are fixed by the electoral college. Is the end of it. There is not a better way. The entity that can put Trump in over Biden, could take him back out later. Leave it alone. This is the system. People in charge can and did make mistakes. People were empowered, they did wrong, we must choose them differently next time, but it was their decision, they made it, and there does not exist a better way.

Master troll of our enemies, on both sides. It's good to flush them out every chance. I call the Demzis fascist all the time and clarify the definition of fascism to all those who don't even know thatbit's a top down authoritarian system of national governance by force of agencies with police power, with the collusion of powerful businesses and rich people. Sound familiar? Add government ownership of private property and you get communism, the next step after fascism. Things will get messy.

Bravo #6. Also, the people who just want the US Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 to go away and forget we endure a fraudulently installed POTUS need to see past their irritation about Trump. Trump was not the only one cheated. Every American who sincerely went and voted for Trump had THEIR vote stolen. If we won’t stand up for THIS, we’ll then God help us.

For all of you out there clutching your pearls when President Trump made this statement, think about what he just did. He put the actions of big tech and this administration into perspective for the average American who is not a political junkie. President Trump knows the media will run with this and breathlessly tell us how ridiculous this is. They will make the statement resonate with the American people. Trump put it out there. The FBI put pressure on big tech and with their support interfered with the outcome of an election in a blatant display of arrogant lawlessness.
Trump knows there is no remedy for rectifying the results of the stolen election in 2020 but by the election in 2024. He is not stupid, just the opposite. He planted the seed in the American mind that democrats cheated and stole what they could not win. Put two and two together and now it makes sense that the FBI is out to destroy PDT. He just connected the dots in a way that will have the media covering this and making the case for him.
I agree with President Trump. Democrats must bear the responsibility of what they have done to each and every voter that cast a vote for President Trump. That is why it is important even if there is no legal means to hold them accountable or the will of Republican leaders to hold democrats accountable is just not there, the people will know exactly why they are suffering under the yoke of this illegitimate administration. Democrats along with the FBI and big tech interfered with the 2020 election in order to win. Americans will hold this administration accountable. The FBI looks as guilty as sin, and the rightful President is being pursued by this administration in a manner only seen in communist regimes.

Never going to happen. Civics lesson: the ELECTORAL COLLEGE cast their votes for the president. There is no remedy, constitutional or otherwise. The founders never envisioned that the people would ever allow their country to become as corrupt as it has, and didn't include a constitutional amendment to address electoral fraud on the scale that we are seeing.
They did, however, have the foresight to allow for amendments. The Constitution will have to be amended to address this in the future. I would start the discussion by insisting that electoral fraud be elevated to a capital crime.

Agree with #24 (though I believe she should get a little crisper with her usually astute comments). The RINOs, the 'Rats and the fake Media will all try to turn this into an either or. You either talk about your plans for the future or harp on a water under the bridge election . PDT's political skills should be applied to removing this false illusion. Clearly understanding what happened in 2020 IS the basis of our future and plans for it. That as #24 says is exactly what PDT is doing. We, for our part should stop referring him to him as the Former President.

I AM SO SICK OF THIS!!!! I voted for Trump twice and gave $ to his campaign, but, because of his anger and ego ABOVE COUNTRY, he lost us the two Georgia senate seats that put us in the terrible situation in which we now live. He has endorsed candidates for November almost completely on the basis of whether they thought he won the Presidency last round, and now we have people like Dr. Oz potentially losing to a far Left maniac who suffered a stroke and can barely speak! And if he doesn't win the Presidential primary, which we WILL have, I can see him spinning off and starting his own Bull Moose candidacy and thus Republicans losing the Presidency next round! He has a loyal cadre of voters as his base, and nothing he does seems to bother them---he walks on water. If he would campaign on what he had accomplished and what he WOULD accomplish in future I absolutely would vote for him, but not for this wildly narcissistic man we see now......part of the problem with the Mar A Lago response is that he no longer has 1st rate lawyers........they are afraid (and rightly so) of FBI raids but also Trump is so wild and unhinged at times that they want nothing to do with him. I get about 40 texts a day from him, his kids, his dog catcher, you name it, but will NOT give a cent or support him as long as he puts himself ahead of the good of the Country!

There should be no forgetting the 2020 election. The Deep State democrats and their militant intel agencies not only stole an election, they stole a minimum of 30% of the wealth of every productive American through inflation and devaluation of our IRAs and 401Ks. They damaged the reputation of all Americans across the world. The time to fix it was before the inauguration of the vegetable they chose as a figurehead when all republicans suddenly went silent and spineless. If that doesn't make you spitting mad then you ain't no American.

There are the haters, the mushy middle and the Trumpistas. Two of the three will never change their views on FPDT. One group holds the key to any election, whether '22 or '24. Those people are the ones measuring the candidates. And while Gore, Kerry and Hillary all went on for years about being cheated, let's not forget the effects...Obama and PDT. This country does not like crybaby losers, even if the referee DID blow a call that turned the game.
This is a perpetual loser for Trump. Why? There are SIX Republican state legislatures that would have to be called to account for their odd "upset" wins for Biden that swung the election. Blame those "commie Dems" all day long...and get smart about the other partner in this UNIPARTY coup...those "real conservative" GOPe. The partners tossed PDT out when impeachment and scandal failed by rigging the electoral vote. It's one thing to know...now prove it. The cabal spent plenty to rid themselves of PDT, and it's not going to let that investment flounder. That raid on Mar-a-Lago was a clear message...

If the information on Hunter’s laptop had not been suppressed, I believe Trump would have won. But, voters did not have this information. They only had the biased reporting of the MSM to go on. It is a real possibility that Trump lost due to the misinformation campaign run against him, not ballot fraud. He has lost this battle and only hurts himself by trying to refight it.

From now until November 8, Trump needs to stop talking about 2020 and focus totally on the midterms.
If his time is spent talking about a stolen election, it will divert attention from the real issues and turn off suburban women. That may well cost Republicans the House and Senate. They may also lose key governor races.
Winning 2022 is critical to cleaning up elections for 2024. Trump needs to keep his eye on the prize

If Trump wants to be the Republican nominee in two years he must stop making a fool of himself. There is zero benefit for him or us in making statements unhinged from reality.
To help save the country Trump needs to funnel his outstanding skills and energy into flipping Congress. Enough of 2020. A dwindling few still consider the rigged election the most important issue. The rest of the country want the severe damage wrought by the Democrats reversed.

I voted for him twice while knowing the whole time he had serious character flaws. Now those flaws are who he is.
Notice how the Congressional races are all much tighter now that he is in the spot light again? He will bring out as many, or more, enemies to vote than he will his supporters.

Minds are made up. If, like me, you think the election was stolen in the battleground states, you're not going to change my mind. The minds of people who don't think the election was stolen aren't going change either.
So Trumps comments, a couple months before the mid-terms is not helpful. He sucks all the oxygen out of the room. Focus needs to be on 2022, and on the dismal Dem record and what Reps will do to improve things. Trump needs to check his ego.
Action to enhance election integrity going forward, like DeSantis has done in FL, is a good thing. But that's not what Trump does. Trump needs to check his ego and be constructive going forward.

We can all talk about the fraud and stolen election until we’re blue in the face, but Biden is in the White House and will stay there until they carry him out, or he runs and really loses in 2024. Please, President Trump, ask Americans if they are better off now, or were they better off 2 years ago. Then, tell them, if you decide to run again, you will set the country right again. Hit hard on inflation, crime, and the border. All Republicans need to do that and stop getting distracted about how bad they are. The media will never be on our side, so ignore them and concentrate on what most Americans want - to take care of their families.

The usual suspects spout their wanna-be, insider political opinions with such appalling callousness that I shudder for the state of the US citizenry. #21 understands the core of the issue. The election was stolen from us, US, in obscene numbers, right in front of our face, with both parties complicit. You can move on from that? What kind of person are you?? I will never, EVER, forget it, and I damn well hope President Trump doesn’t either. Does that make me a “Trumpista” or a Truthista? Shame on the lot of you.
