Kathy Hochul’s call for 5.4M Republicans
to leave New York is dangerous and disgusting

Gov. Kathy Hochul, who hasn’t proven shy about issuing orders, had one for the state’s Republicans this week — all 5.4 million of them: “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK?” she said. “You are not New Yorkers.”
If you can move beyond the frankly disgusting political partisanship and intolerance, her message is fiscally irresponsible, even dangerous. The governor probably already knows this, but the state’s extensive public sector is heavily reliant on personal income taxes paid by residents, and with nearly $14 billion in projected budget gaps over the next five years, it can’t afford to lose any taxpayers,

Say, that might work. Lets divide states up in order of those who want to be American and those who don't. I've always wondered if we could kick California and New York out of the union. That would leave the rest of us in peace. Maybe Oregon would like to join them.

RE #2:
I live in NE FL. It is sunny and warm most of the year and only slightly chilly the rest of the time. I live 1/2 mile from the beach and I don't have to worry about muggers or panhandlers when I go there. Our politics are sane and our Governor actually listens to the voting public. And we don't even have a state income tax to boot!!
I wouldn’t move to NY for all the rum in Jamaica!!

What are the Democrats drinking? First Charlie Crist, running for the governor of Florida, announces he doesn't want any DeSantis voters voting for him, then Herr Biden announces he doesn't respect MAGA Republicans and now Hochul telling NYS's Republicans to leave the State. ....sounds like a planned talking point doesn't it?

Watch New York lose another two Congressional seats.
Watch Governor Hochul hit up Bailout Biden for a handout to cover the loss in tax revenue.
Watch wealthy liberals claim New York is a great place as their taxes increase and struggle to keep the unwashed masses at arm's length. They like all the amenities. Too bad they don't pay for them.
Hope the governor likes presiding over a wasteland.

I wouldn't expect less from a leftist commie after all the smartest woman in the world, Hillary, said the same thing in her 'deplorable' comment rejecting half the voters, Crist just said the same thing in Florida so Hochul said it too. This is how deep the hatred runs on the left. Laying the groundwork for secession. FNY

Face it Kathy Hochul "New Yorkers" - you couldn't survive anywhere else. Like AOC you don't even know what garbage disposals are. You depend so much on public transportation that many of you don't have driver's licenses and don't drive. You think your food comes from Gristedes and your heat from Con Ed. You all sound like Bugs Bunny, you're loud, obnoxious and have no manners. You think New Jersey and Pennsylvania are the boonies.

Hochul needs some educating. The Democrat party is rapidly shrinking under the Biden Administration and so is New York. Their ‘woke’ crap is out of control and everyone’s sick of it. Everything they touch is in some way destroyed. Comments like this from a sitting Governor should be grounds for impeachment. She is not the Queen and she does not choose who does or does not live in New York. She’d better hope Republicans don’t take her up on it. There will be nothing left but drug addled homeless, illegals, and criminals with a handful of liberals happy to support them. She richly deserves that.

So this walking piece of garbage feels that she, as governor, doesn't represent these 5.4 million people? And that's just the taxpayers with enough guts to actually register to vote as a Republican. Small business people will tell you that they fear losing jobs if it was known that they were Trumpsters so they hide their party affiliation.
Imagine DeSantis telling liberals from the North who move there they should go back to where they came from! The horror.
Lastly ... to many of my fellow LDotter posters ... like Lot (nephew of Abraham) and his wife/family (who were all trapped in Sodom), many people in NY state and city are stuck and cannot just "leave". Not so easy --- nor is it cheap to do so. Cut them some slack, please.

The Democrats have gone full NAZI. If you don't agree with them they want you to leave, which is better than being placed in gas ovens which will probably be her next move. It is a shame because New York once upon a time was a two-party state and had a good educational system, Sic transit gloria.

So. The Biden FBI/DOJ are on the lookout for MAGA's, conservatives, every day Americans who voice opposing opinions of the Left. We/They are terrorists. Then you have "people" like the Gov. of NY “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK?” she said. “You are not New Yorkers.” A whining NYer said she/he/it is afraid to drive through "red states because someone might attack her/him" Isn't this a form of terrorism? Thin of it this way, if you will. The 5.4 million republicans in NY are essentially wasted from a national voting perspective. We could use them in Texas as insurance against all of the blue state refugees who flee the high taxes and crime of their home states but still tend to vote democrat once in Texas; hence, Beto as a potentially viable candidate for governor, in spite of him being a worthless political parasite. It is rapidly coming time for the U.S. to segregate ideologically, if not split completely. Im sure Florida struggles with this as well but the thing Florida has going for it is that a lot of the former NY-NJ types who have fled to Florida over the years are older citizens, who may still retain enough common sense to be conservative, or at least right-of-center. During the 80s, Texas had a lot of Rust Belt refugees move here. It was a much younger crowd on average, as there were many more working class families moving in vs retirees, especially with regard to Texas' large urban areas, who still largely vote democrat.

I hope we can leave the ignorant talk about Oregon out of this discussion today. For those who don't know, Oregon has two blue puddles with large populations right in the middle of a red state. Problem is, back in 1986 a democrat crook named Bill Bradbury convinced the legislature to vote and pass vote by mail for all elections. Think about that for a moment and given we haven't had a republican governor since that year, wonder why Pelosi wants this for the whole nation. Vote by mail is a complete scam and will turn this nation into a blue one party rule.
Yes, Cali and NY are corrupted and probably beyond redemption. But the rest of us are not. In fact, we have been trying to divide Oregon up for about 3 decades now so the democrats could have the Willamette valley. Let the rest of us join with Idaho and Northern Cali to form the state of Jefferson.
