Climate Change must be the cause of all these human-wildlife confrontations. Here in NH campgrounds have been closed due to bear issues. There are daily reports of bears roaming about our towns and cities. We must cool the environment to protect ourselves. Oh, a report the arctic ice summer minimum is the highest in 16 years. Nevermind...

I figured out when was about fifteen a d we moved to a lake in central Florida that they are meat eating DINOSAURS. And here we are, made out of meat. Why are people surprised? When a wild gator gets bigger than 6-7 feet, unless in a park, he needs to be shot.

DETROIT — Dodge will discontinue its gas-powered Challenger and Charger muscle cars at the end of next year, marking the end of an era for the brand as it starts to transition to electric vehicles. Since being resurrected in the mid- to late 2000s, the Charger and Challenger — names made popular in the 1960s and 1970s — have been stalwarts for Dodge and popular vehicles for a new generation of gearheads. (Snip) Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis has alluded to the possibility that the Charger and Challenger names could be used for future electrified vehicles, including a forthcoming electric muscle car in 2024

They were run by the Diocese of Matagalpa, a northern Nicaragua department whose bishop, Rolando Alvarez, is a frequent critic of the ruling couple’s human-rights abuses. ALBANY — New York has amended several state laws to remove the word “inmate” and replace it with “incarcerated person” to refer to people serving prison time. The changes, signed into law Monday by Gov. Kathy Hochul, are intended to reduce the stigma of being in jail. Prison reform advocates have said the term “inmate” has a dehumanizing effect. Prisoners say it can feel degrading when jail guards refer to them as inmates, especially in front of their families during in-person visits. “Language matters,” said state Sen. Gustavo Rivera, a Bronx Democrat who sponsored the bill. “This is another concrete

The Labor Department released the inflation report Wednesday and while any fair-minded person can tell the economy is far from looking up, President Joe Biden has well and truly embraced Orwellian dystopian doublethink and, instead of saying “2+2=5,” declared 8.5 equals zero.
