A luxury hotel in the center of Manhattan is set to become a hub for housing asylum-seeking migrants who have been bussed in from Texas.
The Row, which is based near tourist-packed Times Square, will become a shelter for as many as 600 migrant families in news that first reported by the New York Post.
Sources claim that they are going to place families and single people who have traveled from Texas after Gov George Abbott unveiled his plan to start transporting people from his southern state.
The plush hotel is understood to be working with Mayor Adams to convert part of the hotel, where rooms can cost more than $400-a-night,

This is a good thing. Just think how many illegals will now beg to be on a bus to New York.

Wow, 600 whole illegal alien families, and NYC finds it an onerous burden, while border states have to deal with hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens thanks to woke idiots like the ones running New York.

and I heard someone say recently that the suicide rate among veterans is horrendous - something like 22 a day. Why doesn't our government stop the invasion at the southern border and take care of our veterans?

They're a moving on up, to the East Side. To a deluxe apartment in the sky, you finally get a piece of the pie! Talk about upward mobility by simply moving to a new place. All migrants in Texas will want the NYC bus rides now!

After getting less than 1% of what Texas has to deal with on a daily basis, the NY mayor is claiming NY is being overwhelmed. Now he wants all of the rest of us to pay to put these illegals up in $400 a night hotel rooms. I feel that NY should get nothing until after they have been compensated for all of the illegals that they have had to deal with. And, NY should not get one cent per illegal person than Texas gets.
If NY wants to “virtue signal” by proclaiming themselves a sanctuary city, they should walk the walk, not blow smoke in our faces.

Correction: The second they that should be compensated before NY refers to Texas.

No Worries! In places like San Francisco and Seattle they have been doing this for years. They even delivered alcohol and drugs to the hotel. Recently, left wing wacko judges have ruled that the homeless have been there, in the hotel, for so long they have established residency, and a 'right' to remain.

Expect the border swarm to triple now that they can expect to live in a fancy hotel in NYC. The Dems can be expected to keep their bags full of goodies, and, of course, voter registration cards.

Great idea Mayor Adams! This will make it even easier to fill those buses. We need to put up billboards at the border for the illegal invaders advertising the free hotel suites included with the free bus ride to NYC.

Will Mayor Twinkletoes make arrangements for MS-13 to have access to conference rooms for membership recruitment/ selection?
(Most of the illlegals getting off the buses appear to be young males- teens to twenties - which is the target population for MS-13.)
Now it is time to send some busloads to Wilmington, Delaware.

Look on the positive side with all those future house service employees they should find the place immaculate along with the lawn (if there is one) perfectly manicured. Doing the work Americans won't do.

Works out well for Texas, as thousands of illegals will be asking to take the Abbott Bus to NYC to get the "spa treatment" at the Ritz Carlton, courtesy of Mayor Eric Adams.

I don't know how many rooms are available, but 600 families seems to fill the hotel up. They could change the name to 'Skid Row Hotel'.

The NY Democrats really don’t give a hoot how many illegal aliens show up in New York City as they consider just about all illegal aliens, who fit within the ethnic and racial categories of Democrat identity politics to be future Democrat supporters and eventually voters. The NY Democrats big current hang up is that they want Biden, and the DC Democrats to force the entire country to pay all the expenses for the illegal aliens by sending billions of dollars to them and the socialist Democrat run nongovernmental organizations (NGOS) that are behind encouraging and inviting unlimited numbers of illegal aliens to gain entry to the USA unlawfully.

Guess American citizens, who pay the taxes for unvetted illegals to reside in such lavish digs, can see who the beltway dems & RINOS prefer.
