Joe Biden’s incompetent Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm on Sunday appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” to discuss the Bidenflation scam that just passed through both chambers of Congress.
The Democrats’ answer to record inflation: More spending!
More than 230 economists wrote letters to Congress warning that the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ will make inflation worse.
“What, specifically, will [the Bidenflation Scam] do to lower costs for Americans

And when all these batteries for EV need repalcong will they also pay for that? This is insane. Our grid has enough problems now without the load that will come from all these cars.

You just gotta love the Marie Antoinettes of the left. Notice, no mention of a skyrocketing electric bill you will get for charging a car that goes not much of anywhere. Oh and that " credit ", you can't it unless the battery and minerals used are produced in the USA. China does not qualify.

We keep getting told that the "electrical grid" is going to be overwhelmed when it gets too hot or cold, so we need to set our AC and heating to really uncomfortable levels "for the greater good".
But now the same Demon-Rats that created the whole insane "electrical grid" problems, now want to add millions of new electric cars and home charging stations to those same grids!!!!
Yeah, lie-beral "logic" at its most bizarre!!!!!!

Get used to the parade of Biden’s Stepford-Appointees who mean to CONTROL your life. Brought to you by your Cultural Marxism friends. Soros and Obama KNOW what’s best for you so why not just go along??
Can America’s electrical grid accommodate all of these electric vehicles or produce so much more electricity? NOT.
Exactly WHICH AMERICANS actually voted for THIS? Let’s all thank the copy machines which made this regime possible. There’s more spending idiocy to come, provided by Biden’s 87,000 new IRS agents.

Spend many thousands to get a pittance handout from the government, using stolen money.
And I don't WANT a rotten EV.
A calculation shows that the best Tesla battery contains the equivalent energy of 3 gallons of gas. And you "refill" it with an eyedropper.

If they have enough money to buy the electric car they can pay a few hundred dollars for a charging station in their home. What apartment renters do will be a challenge but, I am sure that the geniuses like AOC will figure it out,

Not only how are thousands of EVs going to charge during a hurricane evacuation, but how about once the evac is under way there's a huge traffic jam and EV batteries start to die. Talk about humongous gridlock!

As a landloed, will I now be required to provide charging stations for all tenants? And, where will I put them? Perhaps from the fifth floor via. a 500 foot extension cord.

I can't decide if IRA stands for Inflation Resurgence Act or Inflation Reinforcement Act.
There is enough battery capacity in the entire world to power the world's electric usage for all of 75 seconds.
Manufacturing a brand-new EV adds the equivalent of 80,000 miles of driving a gas-powered car worth of pollution.
Yes, and liberal's previous boondoggle was ethanol. It takes more energy to produce a gallon of ethanol than it contains.
That's what goes for liberal logic.

Hear that, you all? You can't afford your rent, gas and groceries are going through the roof, and the solution is to spend tens of thousands of dollars of money you don't have.
No one in this administration knows what they are doing.

An EV charging station in every home will melt the wires and put us in darkness. Got your whale oil lamp yet? That will be the new renewable energy. Bad news for the whales though.

And all of this is a charade. Once again, we must change the narrative. “Fossil Fuels” was a term coined by the Rockefellers to feign scarcity and a finite supply. The truth is best told by that bastion of hot air, AlGore. “Da earf’s core is extwemely hot several miwwion degwees..” and because of what God constructed, we have a forge that produces oil and natural gas right below us.. We must demand that this energy is ours and we have every right to use it. It is “Earth Fuel!” The fact that carbon is an element and is the basis for all life on earth means that the idiotic plan to “decarbonize” is insane. Time to stand up to the Kaiser Klaus’s of the world and say, Shove your “Great Reset” where no one dare tread..

The solution is to install the charging station for a few hundred bucks but then keep driving your gas powered vehicle.

Hurricanes hit Florida evacuation route head inland and north how far will your electric car carry you? My brother left Jacksonville on the hurricane evacuation route in his gasoline internal combustion engine Jeep the traffic was so bad and slow moving with gas shortage along the way that he and his family rode out the hurricane storm on the side of the road what do you think thousands of electric cars will be like in this situation? It would be the same in a northern blizzard when battery power has to be used for a heater, headlights, windshield wipers and stalled in traffic you won't get far in an electric car. Golf carts belong on a golf course not on the interstate.

Just watched a bit on The Weather Channel this morning about the electric Ford pickup and how, if it were plugged into your charging station at night and the electricity went off the truck would automatically switch over and power your house. They didn't mention what you should do next morning when you discover the electricity still off but your truck battery is also discharged.

Where is the electrical grid that will support all of these EV's and their charging stations. And remember, all of the components used to make batteries come from China and Russia. This is beyond sickening. Excuse me while I vomit.

From Wikipedia: "Jennifer Mulhern Granholm (born February 5, 1959) is a Canadian-American lawyer, educator, author, political commentator, and politician serving as the 16th United States secretary of energy since 2021".
Her pedigree leaves me wondering what about it qualifies her to be the Energy Secretary of the USA?
Zero background in science, engineering, or even general business. She probably thinks a Watt is a neighborhood in Los Angeles.
When you pair her up with Buttigieg (Sec Trans...er, um, uh, Transportation), it's no wonder America's energy and transportation are such a mess.
