Members of Senator Lisa Murkowski's campaign worked behind the scenes to get ranked-choice voting passed in Alaska in an effort to give progressives an advantage and help increase the moderate Republican's chances of victory, secretly recorded conversations reveal. A coordinator for Mukrowski's reelection campaign told an individual reporting undercover for Project Veritas Action that the ranked-choice voting measure is 'key' to her potentially winning in the 2022 midterm election. The new voting system in Alaska, known as Ballot Measure 2, gives voters the top four candidates to rank from their most preferred candidate to least in the open party competition.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who lost her primary for reelection this year, has endorsed Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) against Republican J.D. Vance in Ohio’s United States Senate race.
During a panel discussion with PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff, Cheney was asked if she would support Vance against Ryan in the Ohio Senate race, to which she responded, “I would not vote for J.D. Vance.”
“So if you were a Buckeye State voter, you’d be voting for Tim Ryan?” Woodruff asked. Cheney responded, saying “I would.”
Cheney also called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a “tremendous leader” and “a leader of historic consequence.”
“The View” was criticized Monday for its Halloween special featuring children dressed in costumes relating to the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Two children dressed as FBI agents walked out with another boy wearing a toilet outfit that contained flushed documents with a “SECRET” label over it. He also donned a wig resembling former President Trump’s hair.

Analysts at the non-partisan Cook Political Report moved the rating for ten congressional districts in favor of the Republican candidates with only a week left before the midterm race.
Cook Political explained that many of the congressional districts President Joe Biden won comfortably during the last presidential election are at risk of being lost because Democrat governors are underperforming. A group of illegal migrants, previously removed from the U.S., have built a tent city on the Mexican border. On Monday, they stormed Border Patrol Agents on the US side of the border resulting in the agents firing non-lethal pepper balls – at the crowd. A total of three shots were fired.
