What if the Democrats want Trump to run
for president again?

Original Article

Posted By: Attila DiMedici, 8/12/2022 8:52:41 AM

Susan Arnold, writing at Townhall, August 11, reported that Republican support for Donald J. Trump to seek a second term as president increased, significantly, in the aftermath of the FBI swoop-down on his Mar-a-Lago home, August 8. What if this is just as Democrat Machiavellians figured? What if the Democrat political masterminds (definitely not including our hapless president) believe that their best chance to hold the presidency in 2025 would be if Donald J. Trump is the GOP candidate in 2024? Think about it. The Democrats, by now — those who direct party strategy — know Mr. Trump inside-out.

Comments:

The author makes this comment, "If voters elected Biden in 2020 over Trump, wouldn't they be likely to vote for the Democrat over Mr. Trump in 2024?" and goes on from there. But my thinking is that the author's basic premise might be correct, except that they may be figuring, "If people bought that Biden got 81,000 votes in 2020, won't those same people buy that the Democrat running against Trump in 2024 got however many votes we need to manufacture to beat him?" That is, they may want Trump to be the Republican nominee because they calculate their voter fraud would be more believable against Trump than against another potential candidate.

The author is a dimwit, and assumes several falsehoods to be fact. Biden did NOT win the last election, it was stolen via vote fraud in multiple states. Trump running again is their worst nightmare, especially after they have just increased his support dramatically with their treasonous political abuse of the legal system.

If one assumes, as many do, that the elections are rigged, there's no sense worrying about who the Republican nominee will be, whether Trump, DeSantis, or Larry Hogan. It's a lost cause then, isn't it? If one accepts that the last time around was poorly investigated and the proof of fraud was regularly ignored by Congress, the state legislatures, the courts, law enforcement, etc., one must believe that will happen again. Again, a lost cause. What are you otherwise going to do about it? One must also then ask why top-shelf Republicans accept this continued fraud silently, or fighting to undermine the argument. One might ask why SIX Republican state legislatures showed virtually zero interest last time around, after "upset" Biden victories. I will submit that this truly began in 2018 when that stalwart Republican Speaker Ryan sure looked like he and his party threw the midterms to create a Democrat majority in the chamber that impeaches Presidents. It eventually did, and failed to build a case for conviction. Impeachment SHOULD be the death knell politically, but like Clinton, PDT survived. And that brings us to the '20 selection...a truly UNIPARTY production as seen in those six states noted. The GOPe wanted PDT gone as much as the Dems. He was simply bad for business. They fired another impeachment silver bullet at PDT and missed their mark again. And now he's potentially back, returning from Elbe, his Grande Armee of Trumpistas on the shores waiting to reform and fight for the Emperor. The UNIPARTY's investment could go south if nothing is done...and soon. And now you're seeing that. Trump taking the Fifth...what's he got to hide? His residence is raided by the FBI. Melania's underwear drawers are rifled for nuclear secrets along with the pried-open safe. And this is just the beginning. Napoleon will not be allowed back from Elbe. And that takes us then back to normalcy. The UNIPARTY isn't concerned about anyone else. Politicians understand the game, and respect the rules if not directly into the corruption themselves. Frankly, fixing an election isn't cheap. I doubt it would happen under "normal" circumstances, which means any election not involving FPDT. Remember the Tea Party!

This article is almost too stupid to bother with. Core problem: the author says that the "the Democrats, by now, know Trump inside and out". ANYONE who supports Trump has a far better handle on who he is than almost anyone who opposes him. Most of those who oppose him have never made the first attempt to take off the blinders and listen to the man and to watch what he does.

I don't care if they do or if they don't. They will never come up with a candidate who can win after the disaster of the Biden administration. Some of them may say they are voting Democrat, but in the privacy of the voting booth Democrats will vote their pocket.

Pro-abortion pundits want to believe that Democrats can maintain control of the House and Senate in the midterms. Writing for the New York Times, Blake Hounshell and Leah Askarinam argue that there is a chance that Democrats will maintain a majority in Congress. Their analysis, especially on the issue of abortion, leaves out key insights that show pro-lifers are poised for a big sweep in the midterms. CARTOONS | CHIP BOK VIEW CARTOON In “How Democrats Can Stop a Red Wave,” Hounshell and Askarinam suggest that abortion can win votes for Democrats. Is there a wholly unexpected benefit from

It’s possible that the Democrats’ decision to use COVID to gain a political advantage in the 2020 election and beyond may have triggered a powerful Black Swan event. Even as they succeeded in destroying the U.S. economy and weaponizing public schools, they may unintentionally have set the U.S. on a new and wonderfully beneficial path: Turning women into stay-at-home mothers who have removed their children from the state’s indoctrination. I don’t know whether the left, through Fauci, worked with China to create and release COVID. Whatever its origins, COVID gave the left the major epidemic disease it wanted to jumpstart the “Great Reset.”

Years ago, South Africa’s Pilanesberg Park had big trouble. Tons of it. Someone went on a killing spree of its prized white rhinos. Thirty-nine of the 5-ton ungulates were mysteriously turning up dead around the park. That was 10 percent of the park’s endangered rhino population. The killers had to be stopped, so park rangers turned into homicide detectives. Who did it? Poachers, perhaps? No. It couldn’t have been. The dead rhinos didn’t have bullet holes, and their horns were still intact. Who, then? ..., rangers found their killers: gangs of teen male elephants

Democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the COVID vaccines. I’m not talking about the fact that they are struggling to try to find a way to steal credit for it -- the media will help with that -- I’m talking about the choice they have between reopening the country safely and their desire for open borders. Democrats may not realize it yet, but they can’t have both.

The Democrats live in a fantasy world. It’s a world in which higher taxes create jobs and prosperity, a world where central control of complex systems produces efficiency, a world where groveling weakness results in international respect and peace. To those old and longstanding fantasies, they’ve added a couple of new ones: a world in which they can sow discord and division and reap acceptance and unity, and a world where the lies they tell will be trusted as the truth.

Its director is Patty Jenkins, who had previously worked with Gadot on Wonder Woman. The announcement of her casting was met with fury and consternation, both from self-styled “progressives” and from large segments of the Arab and Muslim community. Before long, the internet was flush with denunciations of Gal Gadot for her alleged “whitewashing” of “Arab” roles, and of the film industry itself for casting her as Cleopatra in the first place.

One thing we must give Democrats credit for is their unity. Yes, certain members of the party such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will occasionally diverge from the party line and oppose particularly radical pieces of legislation, but when it comes to big moments and key votes – on impeachment, for instance – Democrats circle the wagons. Contrarily, Republicans tend to fracture at the most inopportune moments, which is why it was refreshing to see virtual unanimity amongst the GOP after Monday’s outrageous raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago. Almost all notable Republicans supported Trump after the ordeal; all except for one.

It is helpful to think of political developments as moves on the chessboard made to advance an objective. In chess, the objective is to win the game, chess being zero-sum. Politics is like that, too, though participants often claim it's not, that they're acting for the greater good, principles at the foundation of democracy, motherhood and apple pie and all that — which is true in some cases but never if Democrats are in the game. This brings me to Attorney General Garland's claim that the Mar-a-Lago home invasion wasn't a raid at all.

The post–George Floyd racial reckoning has hit the field of medicine like an earthquake. Medical education, medical research, and standards of competence have been upended by two related hypotheses: that systemic racism is responsible both for racial disparities in the demographics of the medical profession and for racial disparities in health outcomes. Questioning those hypotheses is professionally suicidal. Vast sums of public and private research funding are being redirected from basic science to political projects aimed at dismantling white supremacy. The result will be declining quality of medical care and a curtailment of scientific progress.
