Is there a wholly unexpected benefit from
the left’s COVID madness?

Original Article

It’s possible that the Democrats’ decision to use COVID to gain a political advantage in the 2020 election and beyond may have triggered a powerful Black Swan event. Even as they succeeded in destroying the U.S. economy and weaponizing public schools, they may unintentionally have set the U.S. on a new and wonderfully beneficial path: Turning women into stay-at-home mothers who have removed their children from the state’s indoctrination. I don’t know whether the left, through Fauci, worked with China to create and release COVID. Whatever its origins, COVID gave the left the major epidemic disease it wanted to jumpstart the “Great Reset.”

Comments:

The writer points out that there are appear to be more stay-at-home Moms post-Covid than before and suggests several positive results (negative if you are a leftist). One possible positive result he does not mention is that children may be raised with greater discipline. Behavior which Mom and Dad found tolerable when they only spent a few hours a day with Junior are much less so when they spend all day, every day with them.

It would be a huge blessing on this country if women have suddenly discovered that their kids are more important than their careers.

''Washington State, 55,000 students have withdrawn from the public school system'' Hear my loud raucous laugh? It reminds me a bit of the Oliver Twist quote, 'Please, sir, I want some more. ' The master was a fat, healthy man; but he turned very pale. He gazed in stupified astonishment on the small rebel for some seconds, and then clung for support to the copper.' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rips1aIEGzE (It's Red Buttons. Enjoy)

Our children are not inconveniences to more important things; they ARE the important thing. According to Joe Biden, "nearly 2 million women in our country have been locked out of the workforce because the HAVE TO care for a child..." and he totes Build Back Better as a plan to help those downtrodden (by their children) parents get back to work!! The left can no longer even conceive that a parent might choose to stay home to raise and care for children. That it is demanding, challenging, gratifying work.

Years ago, South Africa’s Pilanesberg Park had big trouble. Tons of it. Someone went on a killing spree of its prized white rhinos. Thirty-nine of the 5-ton ungulates were mysteriously turning up dead around the park. That was 10 percent of the park’s endangered rhino population. The killers had to be stopped, so park rangers turned into homicide detectives. Who did it? Poachers, perhaps? No. It couldn’t have been. The dead rhinos didn’t have bullet holes, and their horns were still intact. Who, then? ..., rangers found their killers: gangs of teen male elephants

Georgia lawmakers passed an amendment that would strip Delta Airlines of a tax break on jet fuel after the company publicly excoriated the state’s newly enacted election integrity law. Republicans in the Georgia House of Representatives narrowly passed an amendment that would revoke the tax break, costing the Atlanta-based Delta tens of millions of dollars per year, according to Forbes.
Democrats Have to Choose Between Ending

Democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the COVID vaccines. I’m not talking about the fact that they are struggling to try to find a way to steal credit for it -- the media will help with that -- I’m talking about the choice they have between reopening the country safely and their desire for open borders. Democrats may not realize it yet, but they can’t have both.

The Democrats live in a fantasy world. It’s a world in which higher taxes create jobs and prosperity, a world where central control of complex systems produces efficiency, a world where groveling weakness results in international respect and peace. To those old and longstanding fantasies, they’ve added a couple of new ones: a world in which they can sow discord and division and reap acceptance and unity, and a world where the lies they tell will be trusted as the truth.

It was announced yesterday that Gal Gadot, an Israeli actress best known for her titular role in 2017’s live-action Wonder Woman film, is set to portray Cleopatra in an upcoming biopic of the same name. Its director is Patty Jenkins, who had previously worked with Gadot on Wonder Woman. The announcement of her casting was met with fury and consternation, both from self-styled “progressives” and from large segments of the Arab and Muslim community. Before long, the internet was flush with denunciations of Gal Gadot for her alleged “whitewashing” of “Arab” roles, and of the film industry itself for casting her as Cleopatra in the first place.

James Dyson Shows It's Too Easy to Make Electric Cars 15 replies

The reason it was even conceivable for Dyson Ltd. to make an electric car may also have been why its project was doomed to fail: They’re simply too easy to make. The British company, best known for its expensive vacuum cleaners, has now abandoned its 2 billion-pound ($2.5 billion) plan to branch out and take on the likes of Tesla Inc. and Volkswagen AG. Whereas cars with a combustion engine need about 30,000 components, an electric vehicle needs just 11,000 parts, according to research from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

City Hall’ s tech czar ignored a federal warning about a looming, Y2K-like software bug last year — allowing a crash of the city’s official wireless network that has been down since the weekend, sources told The Post. As a result, transit officials can’t remotely control the Big Apple’s 12,000-plus traffic lights, and many of the city’s traffic cameras and NYPD license-plate readers are down, sources said. “This is a big screw-up, even for the de Blasio administration,” said a source familiar with the matter. The New York City Wireless Network, known as “NYCWiN,” crashed on Saturday, affecting the operations of city agencies

Muhammad Ali said, "It ain't bragging if you can back it up." So, excuse me for bragging, but in my almost six years as a nationally syndicated radio and TV host, my predictions have been remarkably accurate. I'm not perfect, but I'm batting close to .990. It's the best record of anyone in the media. Almost everything I've predicted has come true, including a stolen election based on mail-in voting without voter ID; a communist takeover of the USA based on lockdowns, COVID-19 "public safety" mandates and open borders; and President Joe Biden being a brain-dead puppet with dementia.

In its first week available in stores, Christie's tome titled Republican Rescue has sold just 2,289 copies, according to BookScan data cited by the publishing newsletter Press Run. So much for “Minnesota nice.” President Joe Biden received an ugly welcome in the Land of 10,000 Lakes Tuesday when his motorcade passed dozens of protesters who held vulgar signs dissing the commander-in-chief. Some of the demonstrators waved campaign flags for former President Donald Trump. One sign said “FJB” in an apparent abbreviation of “F–k Joe Biden.” “A less coded version just outright said ‘F–k you Biden’ with the U in the F word cleverly drawn to look like a middle finger,” reported White House pool correspondent Todd Gillman of the Dallas Morning News. “A real middle finger attached to a somewhat rough looking middle age man

A trio of teen girls on an anti-Semitic hate crime spree in Brooklyn smacked around two small boys and a teenager, police said Tuesday. They first struck about 6 p.m. Friday when they confronted a 12-year-old boy walking his 3-year-old brother home on Skillman St. near DeKalb Ave. One of the teens slapped the younger brother in the face before the trio ran off. About 5:35 p.m. the next day, they attacked an 18-year-old woman and her 7-year-old sister walking to a store, police said.

During an interview with MSNBC over the weekend, Buttigieg reassured Americans they won't have to worry about an increase in gas prices ever again, so long as they buy an electric vehicle. "Families who own that vehicle will never have to worry about gas prices again," Buttigieg said. "The people who stand to benefit most from owning an EV are often rural residents who have the most distances to drive, who burn the most gas, and underserved urban residents
