Fox News Sunday Lands Slamming New Host
To Permanently Replace Chris Wallace

Chris Wallace, the long-forgotten sufferer of narcissism and TDS, can’t be too pleased with his fading legacy at Fox News. His old stomping grounds, the studio at Fox News Sunday, has named Shannon Bream as his permanent replacement, all but ensuring his total erasure. Bream is the complete package and in her first show will cement the clueless Wallace as completely obsolete. Gorgeous, talented, insightful, and unlike Wallace, someone who puts America first. She has a no-nonsense approach that seeks truth above ideology, something Wallace also lost the ability to do long ago.

Not that this will tempt me in the least to lift my FOX ban, but I'll just say they should have gotten rid of that smarmy soup-eater long ago. Am interested to read others' comments on this.

The EVIL Shannon Bream! I think this move will make this Sunday show watchable again. The other Sunday shows are not except for Marie Bartiromo.

It is a source of irritation to me when I occasionally visit a non-conservative web site and see negative comments about 'Faux Snooze' and their stable of 'blond bubble-heads'. With a few exceptions the Fox gals are very accomplished women including many who are lawyers. Regardless of what one thinks of lawyers in general, those sheepskins are not earned online. Shannon Bream is a smart cookie and should do well.

Look, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but just a "blanket" writing of FOX news is getting old to me. "The Five" is a very good show that lets conservatives hear at least one liberal's view on the topics discussed. One must hear from the other side regardless of how painful it may be. Tucker is about the only hard-hitting journalist on cable IMHO, and Gutfeld's show is great. His monologues are spot on, and his humor is a great relief from all the reality of the day. The "Evil" Shannon Bream is damn good, so I'll watch the show!

I swore off network TV news after the 2000 elections debacle that I watched from Northern Virginia during the federal phase of my career, commuting daily in and out of the belly of the beast in DC, before fleeing back to Texas before Obama took office. I followed the 2004 through 2020 elections right here on L.com. Although I've never watched Carlson, my wife recently got me to watch Bream on Fox at 10pm central time, as she believed Bream had credibility, plus she's very pleasant looking, being a former Miss Virginia, as well as pleasant sounding. She doesn't have that fat, screechy, greasy progressive voice or appearance. I hung around and watched Gutfield, which I found to be entertaining, if not somewhat informative. Humor helps these days but Bream doesn't need humor to hold my interest.

If ANYONE here actually believes that the eeevil Shannon Bream is a front line warrior (which is what this job should require), then you’re fooling yourself. She’s certainly angelic, but little more than any other lawyer turned journalist who’s career comes first, far above any real concerns for this nation and its people.

The only Chris Wallce show on Fox News Sunday I liked was his every-Thanksgiving repeat of a report from an upscale Turkey farm. The owner of the farm helped start a large tech firm and claimed she was later fired by Steve Jobs. I'd say selling $200 turkeys is a pretty good gig in retirement.

I am glad to know this. For years she reported on Supreme Court news, legal cases and related. She's clear-thinking and no push-over. I hope she can hold the liars' feet to the fire. I hope the "balanced" fetish on FOX is tossed for an indefatigable pursuit of the Truth. Sometimes that truth is not to my liking. We watch Maria Bartiromo at 10 on Sundays (she's also on FOX Business Network). She is DEFINITELY worth watching and is another who doesn't let the leftists skate and has guests (such as Senator Ron Johnson and Kash Patel, and medical people who were daring to question the regime protocols) whom most programs avoid. She's great. The "Great Raid at Mar a Lago" has been the impetus or excuse to begin reporting on Trump again. It seems several of the anchors on FOX are glad to be carrying the stories and delivering the Trump side of the newest assaults on him, with several pro-Trump guests, or at least those who are as unbiased as possible, unlike every single "lawyer" or "experts" on the other channels. The FOX shows are endeavoring (it seems) to report the whole story and are not at all anti-Trump. Anyway, we can hope that Shannon Bream will erase from memory the snide and bitterly biased Wallace and his ilk and restore some trust in their news reporting. I have to add here a very weird situation on Hannity's show where the Cheney campaign decided to run ads this week. Hannity has had to admit that the FBI for which he had so much respect, having family members who had worked there, has betrayed the trust of the American people. So when the Cheney ads turn up, you see this creepy, cadaverous daddy Cheney somberly promoting his daughter. The ad looks like it has been dug up out of a sarcophagus in the desert. I wonder what Lizzie is thinking? Doing? Screeching? These are strange times we're living in. Pray for our Republic, that we might regain it.

#10 I agree. Most of the women at Fox are not only beautiful but very intelligent. Several are lawyers and as you say those diplomas are not easy to come by. That is why I continue to scratch my head, in wonder, as to how Kamala Harris managed to get one of these degrees. My husband says on her back just like she got her jobs. Congratulations to Shannon Bream. Now Fox needs to replace Martha McCallum as the political anchor on election night

Congrats to Shannon Bream, but the part of this article that I am really celebrating is that the puke named Chris Wallace is relegated to the dust bin of history. He really deserved that, although it should have happened 20 years ago.

By definition, anyone hired based on their diversity and intersectional identities will not be the best. Merit and diversity are anathema to one another. Joe Biden selected Kamala Harris for his Vice President for the singular reason that she checked off boxes for being a black woman. Ditto for Ketanji Brown-Jackson and double ditto for Jen Psaki’s replacement Karine Jean-Pierre. This isn’t a difficult concept, but all leftists lack self-awareness, introspection, and the ability to assimilate new information with their rigid dogma. That leaves us with someone so utterly bad at her job that it’s astonishing she is able to wake up in the morning.

We have been told for eighteen months that insurrections occur when citizens of the declining Republic unlawfully enter government buildings, particularly those that house members of the legislative branch. The United States of America almost lost its democracy on January 6th when such a breach occurred. Unlawful entry and trespassing have since been a hallmark of politically-motivated prosecutions to jail would-be insurrectionists and send a message that the Regime will not tolerate dissent. Even when that dissent is fomented and orchestrated by the same regime.

For conservatives, backing the blue comes has come naturally. We inherently believe in good and evil, which trickles down into striving for a just society that centers around law and order. Police aren’t perfect, but their flaws outweigh the indecency inflicted upon the rest of us by the scum of the earth. For this reason, watching the George Floyd Riots wreak untold havoc and carnage across our nation induced a visceral response of horror and anger. How could the police stand by? How could they kneel with anarchists? Everything we knew to be true about good and evil, law and order was ignored and recklessly discouraged.

One of the biggest stories in national media right now has been, in one form or another, about how a ten-year-old-girl was raped, got impreganted, and due to her residency in the state of Ohio was forced to travel to Indiana for an abortion. The story took off after Joe Biden referenced it in the immediate aftermath of leftist outrage over Roe’s overturning at the Supreme Court. Mind you, aboprtion was not made illegal with that ruling; it was simply returned to the states to decide on a course of action. After all, nothing in the Constitution lays out a legal framework for federalizing infanticide.

In a much-needed blow to both medical fascism and disinformation, a Luxembourg cyclist crushed the competition to win the mountainous 9th stage at the 2022 Tour de France despite having tested positive for Covid the day before. Most media outlets are running away from this story, because it shatters their harmful pre-/mis-conceptions about the man-made, lab-leaked virus. For starters, the fact that testing positive didn’t prevent someone from going out and riding their bike vigorously for several hours shows that a positive test is ultimately meaningless. You tested positive? You allegedly have Covid? So what? Life goes on.

One thing we must give Democrats credit for is their unity. Yes, certain members of the party such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will occasionally diverge from the party line and oppose particularly radical pieces of legislation, but when it comes to big moments and key votes – on impeachment, for instance – Democrats circle the wagons. Contrarily, Republicans tend to fracture at the most inopportune moments, which is why it was refreshing to see virtual unanimity amongst the GOP after Monday’s outrageous raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago. Almost all notable Republicans supported Trump after the ordeal; all except for one.

It is helpful to think of political developments as moves on the chessboard made to advance an objective. In chess, the objective is to win the game, chess being zero-sum. Politics is like that, too, though participants often claim it's not, that they're acting for the greater good, principles at the foundation of democracy, motherhood and apple pie and all that — which is true in some cases but never if Democrats are in the game. This brings me to Attorney General Garland's claim that the Mar-a-Lago home invasion wasn't a raid at all.

Questioning those hypotheses is professionally suicidal. Vast sums of public and private research funding are being redirected from basic science to political projects aimed at dismantling white supremacy. The result will be declining quality of medical care and a curtailment of scientific progress.
