A majority of likely voters believe Democrats are responsible for plunging the United States into a recession, a Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday found.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in late July that “Democrats inherited an economy that was primed for an historic comeback, and promptly ran it straight into the ground.” Out of 1,000 likely voters surveyed between July 28-31, 59 percent say they agree with McConnell’s statement and 35 percent disagree. The margin of sampling error is ± 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. “As might be expected, 85 percent of Republicans at least somewhat agree that Democrats “ran [the economy] straight into the ground,” as do a majority

They are CORRECT!
The problem is, what will be happening both here and abroad, as a result of Democrats' complete and utter mismanagement of the economy, will pulverize our standard of living and cause starvation and suffering in various nations. The Democrats, in reality, could care less. POWER is their only concern. By November, the true cost of entrusting the Democrats to do ANYTHING will be clear to all. BUT this is not totally the Democrats' fault!
Those who VOTED for Biden and his minions are the real cause of the extreme unpleasantness that is looming for the WORLD.
They will cry :"I didn't KNOW!" when they come knocking at your door for food.

These Ivy School educated idiots did it intentionally. If you’re a dem in the public sector you can guarantee advancement by failing
I’ve been abroad most of this year and have been absolutely gobsmacked by the incompetence of the Brandon administration.

35% of our population must be the 'gimmedats.' Freebies would be the only reason anyone would say they are in favor of this gooberment. Are people still being paid to stay home? Otherwise, why are there so many job openings? Surely the jab didn't make such a dent in our worker population.

They're still doing it. Witness the Chips Act and their fake inflation reduction act.

To democrats, the economy is not important, nor is an open border, out of control crime, soaring prices on everything like gas and food and corrupt elections. So, what is important to these idiots? One thing: ABORTION. Killing babies, yep that's the ticket.

If you think that Poopy Pants Biden and PeeLousy ran the economy into the ground, wait until they pass their Inflation Prevention Act, which will eliminate the ground altogether.

Same as 1776. 1/3 wanted loyalty to England 1/3 wanted to Declare Independence and 1/3 didn’t give a crap! We still have a 1/3 or more that only exist to eat, sleep and take crap at the expense of the 1/3 who want independence.

I recall my '60s high school civics teacher saying ignorance of politics and government is a good sign because it means people are satisfied with the status quo. A large percentage of Americans are satisfied to live on other's largesse.

Wasn't it FJB as VP that said they would have to "manage the decline?"
I guess that's like...point down, accelerate, strap on golden parachute.

A couple of things that are helpful to remember: "there are lies, damned lies, and statistics"; and polling 'science' is based on statistical analysis.
Very few things less helpful than a report (based on an opinion poll) that confirms something we already believe.

Well, the reason they "think" that is BECAUSE IT IS TRUE! People are not stupid. They see what these Demonrats have done, and it is horrible.
We had the best economy in my lifetime, best in over half a century.....and they crashed it and burned it to the ground in under 6 months, and have been crushing and smashing more and more ever since.
