Republicans lead Democrats on the generic congressional ballot by three points, two points lower than the previous week and seven points lower than the week before that, a Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday showed.
While the Republicans look to retake control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections — which are only 95 days away — after being in the minority for roughly four years, the most recent Rasmussen Reports survey showed that 46 percent of likely U.S. voters would elect a Republican, compared to the 43 percent who said they would vote for a Democrat.
Thus the Republicans only have a three-point lead, which is two points less

Republicans don't bother with these polls and they are intended to make things looks closer than they are so the stealing of the election will not be so obvious.

Mail in ballots and wide open borders love voting. Democrats have gotten over a million new votes since Biden took office. It doesn't matter who fills out the ballots, just that they get filled out and counted.

Right on time, just after candidates endorsed by President Trump TROUNCED the establishment Pence types.

If there is indeed a shift in the polling, it is likely democrats being energized by Trump.
Trump will absolutely motivate democrats to vote. For now, I would prefer he lay low... very low.

Yep, prep for the steal. Next we will be told that slightly lower gas prices, killing Zawahiri, and passing the "Inflation Reduction Act", turned everything around so of course there is nothing suspect about the Dems retaining control of congress...

#9 said essentially what I was thinking. They are prepping people to believe it when they rig this election on an even larger scale than they did the last one.

If Democrats cheat during heavily monitored elections, is it just possible that they might cheat to rig anonymous polls as well...?

even a 3 point lead is "Big News!"...Dems have had a 5-7point lead in all of these going back to the nixon re-election, IE: a 8-10point swing to Repubs...even those years when repubs pulled off sweeps "Polling shows Dems with major advantage" was the constant polling stories.
The devil is in the details, most of these polls sample 35-40% dems, nearly the same number of Independents...only around 25% repubs.

An overall generic poll is totally meaningless.
What matters are the individual congressional districts that are actually contested.

Rasmussen isn't a valid polling source anymore. They egregiously manipulate who they include and even how their answers are weighted in my opinion.

Who knows what the lead is or isn't? One thing for sure, though.... it's not Rasmussen. See you on election day.

Generic polls have always been weighted towards the Dems given the bias. I'll take three going into election day.

This is how the Democrats works.
Green policies for the greenies? Check!
Protect gays from monkey pox? Check!
Fight against the abortion ban for women? Check!
Social justice policies for blacks, women, and gays? Check! Check! Check!
Sell Washington to big money interests? Check!
Anti-American policies for those that hate America? Check!
Lefty media abusing Trump, Republicans, and suppressing information? Check!
This is how Democrats get 70-75 million votes. They have covered all their bases.
What are the Republicans doing?

I agree with #18 and MauiGirl as well. If there isnomention of the party of the people being polled, it's useless. And all Politics are local.
