Just last week, congressional Democrats were urging President Joe Biden to declare a climate emergency because some Americans were enduring a patch of hot weather. Though more than a bit meshuga, they couldn’t match the fever of Bill Weir. The CNN chief climate correspondent said, also last week, that “the fate of life on earth is at stake” because Washington isn’t doing more to cool the planet. Yet again, pieces of a puzzle a pre-schooler could put together in a couple of minutes are missing. This weekend, current New York Times columnist Paul Krugman outdid Kael in the utterly-clueless-liberal-bubble department.
On CNN Sunday, Krugman said that the big problem with the economy today is that media are unfairly writing negative stories about it. “I think that what’s happening now is that there’s been a kind of a negativity bias in coverage,” he said.

Among President Joe Biden’s main promises upon entering office in early 2021 was that he would unite Americans and end the divisiveness that plagues our politics. His first inaugural address, which he titled “America United,” was largely dedicated to the idea. But as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, despite the laudable intent, it’s yet another failure on Biden’s part, perhaps the most serious one of all.

A court of law has finally confirmed it: The 2020 election was “illegitimate.” And all the demands for sufficient evidence of voter fraud to reverse the outcome were a red herring.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School examined the bill. Here’s what it concluded.
“The impact on inflation is statistically indistinguishable from zero.” Worse, “the Act would very slightly increase inflation until 2024 and decrease inflation thereafter.”
In other words,

Right about the time Biden was giving this speech, the World Economic Forum painted a picture of what Biden’s future would look like.
Suffice it to say, if you like socialism, you’ll love it. Because it involves a radical transformation of our economy that brings the end of private ownership of things like cars, phones, laptops, and other electronic devices.
The news these days for President Joe Biden and his errant son Hunter is almost all bad. As the Justice Department investigates Hunter Biden for tax and weapons charges, it’s become increasingly obvious over the years that Joe Biden has far more to answer for than Hunter does. A new Morning Consult Poll shows voters beginning to regain some trust in Democrats on some issues. On topics such as health care, voting rights, COVID-19, energy, and guns Democrats have increased their lead on the question of “Who do you trust” on a particular issue.
According to the poll, “Congressional Democrats have an average advantage of 6 percentage points (45% to 39%) over congressional Republicans when voters are asked who they trust to handle a range of 14 issues. That edge has steadily increased since early April, when the two parties were essentially tied on the question.”
