Broken Promise: I&I/TIPP Poll

Among President Joe Biden’s main promises upon entering office in early 2021 was that he would unite Americans and end the divisiveness that plagues our politics. His first inaugural address, which he titled “America United,” was largely dedicated to the idea. But as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, despite the laudable intent, it’s yet another failure on Biden’s part, perhaps the most serious one of all. Revisiting his inaugural speech, Biden had stirring words about the idea of bringing Americans back together, even amid profound political disagreements: “We can join forces, stop the shouting and lower the temperature. Perhaps Biden's strategy for unity is to start a war with China (reports currently are that Pelosi plans on landing in Taiwan on Tuesday night) and Russia. Well, most sane Americans (this automatically excludes Neocons and Democrats) are not falling for the Propaganda BS about Russia and are watching in Amazment as Europe shoots itself in the head by being America's little B-yatch. Good luck keeping warm this Winter. And if Pelosi tries and lands in Taiwan, China will directly challenge the United States.

The only thing that plagues our politics is the communist democratic party. They are nothing more than a corrupt criminal enterprise run by their capo's Obama and Soros who pull the strings of their puppet Joey, aka "dementia Joe" Biden. Their minions are the illiterates who call themselves democratic voters. Got it..

The money and power is in division. It always has been , " elect/ vote for me " , only I can unite our country. Meanwhile they support racism and every other ism and phobe and aspect ( abortion, guns ) out there with money programs designed to divide. If problems are solved, fixed , what do you need the dems for? They either create them or stir the pot and then pretend to be our saviors.

It's really simple. Joe will say whatever he can to please his audience. Truth, logic and reality have nothing to do with it. If he felt he would be better liked if he claimed he was a three-legged unicorn with a lisp... he would make that claim.

After Richard Nixon’s landslide victory over leftist George McGovern in 1972, New York Times movie critic Pauline Kael supposedly said: “How could Nixon have won? Nobody I know voted for him.” This weekend, current New York Times columnist Paul Krugman outdid Kael in the utterly-clueless-liberal-bubble department. On CNN Sunday, Krugman said that the big problem with the economy today is that media are unfairly writing negative stories about it. “I think that what’s happening now is that there’s been a kind of a negativity bias in coverage,” he said. Then Krugman went full Kael,

In retaliation for a series of setbacks in the European courts, the fundamentalist Iranian regime has been accused of instigating terrorist threats to attack an annual rally of anti-regime dissidents and their supporters in Albania, leading to the postponement of the event on security grounds. The rally was scheduled to take place over the weekend of 23 and 24 July in Ashraf 3, headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin of Iran/ Mojahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK). In January 2020 Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama expelled the Iranian ambassador and his first secretary for planning a terrorist bomb attack on the PMOI/MEK.

If Democratic lawmakers had to comply with federal truth-in-advertising laws, they’d all be up on charges for the blatantly false name given to the “Inflation Reduction Act.” President Joe Biden claimed last week that “this bill will, in fact, reduce inflationary pressure on the economy.” In fact, it won’t. It was never meant to. The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School examined the bill. Here’s what it concluded. “The impact on inflation is statistically indistinguishable from zero.” Worse, “the Act would very slightly increase inflation until 2024 and decrease inflation thereafter.” In other words,

"For the first time in a decade, our economy is in recession. It’s not official yet – the group that dates recessions doesn’t act until after the fact – but there’s little doubt that we’re in the midst of a downturn.” That was economist Jared Bernstein back in December 2001. [snip] That year saw only two non-consecutive quarters of GDP decline. The unemployment rate never got over 5.7%. And when the year was over, GDP had climbed 1%. But it’s still listed on the recession roster. Today Bernstein, who sits on President Joe Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers, is trying to argue

Health care costs in the U.S. are too high. We all agree on that. But it’s important to define the word “high” and put costs in proper context. [snip] Health spending is always measured as a percentage of GDP to show how the U.S. spends “too much” on health care. But the following graph puts health care spending in better context: This graph, developed by blogger Random Critical Analysis, explains U.S. health care spending better than any other. It shows spending is appropriate when compared to household disposable income (HDI). Health care spending in the U.S. as a percentage of HDI is reasonable, as the shaded area shows.

‘We’re going to build a different future with one — one with clean energy, good-paying jobs.” That was President Joe Biden talking about the climate “crisis” and how it “is literally an existential threat to our nation and to the world.” Right about the time Biden was giving this speech, the World Economic Forum painted a picture of what Biden’s future would look like. Suffice it to say, if you like socialism, you’ll love it. Because it involves a radical transformation of our economy that brings the end of private ownership of things like cars, phones, laptops, and other electronic devices.

Much has been written and said by some writers, politicians, and journalists about “fake news,” that is, news reports that have been deliberately distorted or are outright lies done for the sake of a particular ideology. Ever since Donald Trump announced his candidacy, I have collected hundreds and hundreds of instances of fake news in print, television, and the internet. But almost nothing has been said or written about “news blackout,” that is, the deliberate, coordinated effort to exclude certain news events, or opinions, that contradict the journalist hivemind ideology. Joe Biden’s presidency has foundered as gasoline prices have soared, with readings in numerous polls showing record or near-record low favorability. Biden’s climate change policies, which many blame for the sudden surge in fuel costs, are now highly unpopular among average Americans, a new I&I/TIPP Poll shows. For our online July I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from July 6-9, we asked 1,643 adults across America to consider the following statement: “President Biden has said that record-high gasoline and electricity prices are necessary for meeting his goal of eliminating fossil fuels in the U.S. to fight climate change.”

President Joe Biden thinks it’s important to decouple America from its reliance on fossil fuels. Most of America disagrees, yet he keeps pushing for the adoption of renewables to replace the energy that comes from traditional sources like petroleum and natural gas. That’s why we’ve seen the price we pay at the pump spike so high. Not that the green energy crowd is much bothered by that. To them, the decline in the consumption of fossil fuels reduces the production of greenhouse gasses, which is music to their ears. Yet while they call the tune, we pay the piper.
