Goodbye, Joe Manchin. Your Senate Career

Joe Manchin, the Democratic U.S. senator from West Virginia, may finally see the writing on the wall and realize his time in politics is coming to an end. Manchin, who held onto his Senate seat by just over 3 percent during his most recent reelection bid, is likely to squander any of the goodwill he has generated among his constituents with his recently declared support for the latest reconciliation bill in the Senate. After presenting himself as a foil to many of the Biden administration’s leftist legislative goals, Manchin has come to an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer about dedicating “hundreds of billions” of federal

Manchin feathered his nest with this last grand deal. The money will flow to phony baloney consulting firms owned by his relatives. He's checking out at the end of this term...just has to put his feet up on his desk and wait for his new gig as a Chicom foreign agent. Joe knows how the game is played. Next year, it's McConnell turn.

And we were beginning to believe his lies that he was for West Virginia, against tax hikes, etc. but old Joe Manchin was just holding out for a better deal so he could betray his voters. What a scummy liar. And he's not a good liar, just a greasy not so slick liar. Please West Virginia, get rid of this two-faced, back stabbing lying politician that will sell you out for 30 pieces of silver.

Joe "manchild" Manchin was in a tough pickle... Dems are going to obliterate the single industry in his State, namely, coal, over his dead body need be, so he avoided the fate to get a bigger "yacht," and sail away to a place where no one knows his shame. He should have known that Obama would make good on his promise to destroy the coal industry.

There is NO good result from electing a dem, no matter how "good" you think they are. It will just be another vote for destroying the country. Out of self interest, Manchin has helped out the Republicans a few times. Thanks. Now goodbye. Republican RINOs as well. They may vote for most Republican issues but you can't count on them when the chips are down. Primary out the RINOs. That helps to stiffen the backs of the wobbly ones as well.

Moreover, the fact that all life on earth is CARBON based, and that God made this incredible planet with the means to produce energy to feed, house, clothe and warm/cool its inhabitants is NOT the pariah that the Econazis are making it out to be. Don’t be too sure that he will be reelected in WV in 2024. A lot of Americans tend to think of the people in that state as being inbred rubes living in shacks in the Appalachians. Not so. I lived there 1986-1995 when the state was solid blue due to the coal miners’ unions. Then along came 0bama and Hillary who vowed to shut down the coal industry and throw the miners out of work. Now the state is red and the more the left goes green, the more the state will go red.

Poppy Bush fell for the same thing and unleashed H. Ross Perot giving U.S. two terms of corrupt BJ Clinton. From “read my lips” onward we have seen the DEVASTATION that happens with inflationary spending RUINING the economy and the value of the dollar becoming WORTH LESS now to the point that average Americans cannot afford basic needs, especially “seasoned citizens” on fixed incomes!! Time to begin the long and arduous task of going RED — Remove Every Democrat and RINO “Republicans” who don’t give a damn about the people they represent like Yertle the Turtle and his followers. Since West Virginia has one of the largest heroin epidemics I'm not sure the fascist Democrat voters can overcome the stereotype. Manchin's enticement (enrichment) to support "green energy" will further kill the state economy and make worse what Biden's handlers have started. But can the drugged up voters make a correlation? Probably good for Manchin that they can't.

At least a year ago Manchin was making noise about becoming WV governor again which would give him a graceful retreat from DC no matter who held power in Congress or the White House. He may have reconsidered this in his most recent sellout as the swamp gas claims all. I know him personally and he's not a bad guy - but don't many people say that about politicians they know? But he suffers from the disease of look-at-me-but-don't-ask-any-tough-questions. When his obvious duplicity is exposed he throws a tantrum when confronted about it. Coal gets all the headlines but in WV a candidate's viability starts and stops with gun rights. With due respect to posters above, that is what lost Gore the state and its few but crucial electoral votes in 2000 and gun rights are what have taken the state to deep red and the most fervently anti-Biden state in the union. Manchin knows this and touts his gun-rights positions every chance he gets (eg shooting a shotgun in a commercial). Every other WV pol knows it also. Unfortunately, being strongly pro-gun also gets him out of numerous other political jams like this one. He did attempt to combat Obama's insane anti-coal policies but, on the other hand, voted for Obamacare after refusing to announce his position when he was a candidate.

The American left has plenty to complain about these days. Liberals who support standard Democratic Party platform planks such as legal abortion, more gun control, and public schools over private schools or homeschooling, have been drenched in bad news coming from various Supreme Court cases and polls showing a widespread rejection of their agenda in the coming elections. There is plenty of blame to go around, at least in their minds. The conservative majority on the Supreme Court is near the top of the list of villains for many. In Virginia’s 2021 gubernatorial contest Democrat Terry McAuliffe based his campaign on the fiction that Republican Glenn Youngkin was a “Trump wannabe.” McAuliffe lost in a state Biden had carried by 10 points. Six months later, in the special election held to fill Texas’ 34th Congressional District, Democrat Dan Sanchez pursued the same strategy against “Trump loyalist” Mayra Flores. Sanchez became the first Democrat in well over a century to lose in the Rio Grande Valley. These two races were just the most visible of several contests that reveal a reality the Democrats need to face.

Thursday morning, the Commerce Department admitted what most Americans already knew — the nation is in the midst of a recession. The economy has contracted for the second consecutive quarter this year. During the first quarter, gross domestic product (GDP) shrank by 1.6 percent, and it shriveled another 0.9 percent during the quarter that just ended. Thus, the Biden economy now meets the standard benchmark economists have used for decades to define “recession.” Inevitably, the White House, its accomplices in Congress, and the corporate media are again trying to gaslight the voters.

When a New York Times/Siena survey came out earlier this month showing that 64 percent of self-identified Democrats wanted a different presidential nominee than Joe Biden, a frisson of fear could be felt in party circles, especially given the president’s apparent determination to run for another term. But hey, many Democrats probably thought, maybe this poll is an outlier. It couldn’t be that bad, could it?Now comes a CNN survey showing that 75 percent of self-identified Democrats want someone other than the 46th president heading up their 2024 ticket. There’s not much ambiguity when you look at the poll’s internals, either.

Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office confirmed to The Federalist that the multiple FBI whistleblowers charging misconduct related to the Hunter Biden investigation only came forward in the last two months. While the existence of these new whistleblowers proves promising, other FBI agents with knowledge of misconduct or political bias must stop hiding behind the chain of command and start blowing their own whistles. “Multiple FBI whistleblowers, including those in senior positions” informed the Iowa Republican senator that “Washington Field Office assistant special agent in charge Timothy Thibault and other FBI officials … ‘falsely portray[ed] as disinformation evidence acquired from multiple sources that provided the FBI derogatory information related to Hunter Biden’s

The United States saw its third 1-in-1,000-year rain in a week on Monday night and Tuesday morning, as southern Illinois was drenched by 8 to 12 inches of rain in 12 hours. An area just south of Newton, Ill., recorded 14 inches of rainfall in just 12 hours, according to the National Weather Service. Thunderstorms brought damaging winds and heavy rainfall through midafternoon on Tuesday. Heavy rain events such as this are becoming more common due to climate change. The NWS office in Lincoln, Ill., received about 20 reports of flooding on Tuesday as roads turned into rivers. Several flash

The hellfire missiles that are said to have taken out Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, but not his family, are a newer generation of missiles that are high on precision and devoid of explosives. The AGM 14 R9X missile, made by Lockheed Martin, can be fired from, in Zawahiri’s case, a Reaper drone as well as other platforms. It can be fired from 600 miles away. Because its payload is tungsten and not packed explosives, this version of the hellfire doesn’t have the accompanying explosion– unless it hits, for instance, a full gas tank in a car. The R9X is called a Ninja because of the six blades deployed during flight

You really have to wonder who ran against some of these morons in political office sometimes. Honestly, was the alternative to someone like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez being forced to step on a rusty nail? Was Eric Swalwell’s opponent a literal cannibal promising to consume children if elected? If you set out to elect some of the dumbest creatures to ever walk upright on the planet, you couldn’t do much better than what Democrats currently have serving in Congress and the White House. Why? There is no good answer, at least one that covers everyone. There are, after all, a lot of really dumb Democrats in office.

This is excellent news because South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has long been a DeceptiCon hiding out and tricking most of the Tea Party republican base of voters for several years. Some completely fooled people have even promoted Tim Scott’s name for the presidency. As an attendee to the 2016 Sea Island Summit, Tim Scott pledged his allegiance to his one true god, money. That is the only allegiance of the American Enterprise Institute. After his initiation he joined the ranks of the manipulative DeceptiCons in the senate led by Mitch McConnell. This endorsement is simply further evidence:(tweet)

There will be no second term for Showtime’s The First Lady, which starred Viola Davis as Michelle Obama. The dramatic anthology series has been canceled after just one season following ridicule from viewers and widespread negative reviews. The series also failed to pick up any major Emmy Award nominations, though it did receive a few nods in technical categories. Showtime confirmed the cancellation in a statement sent to multiple outlets on Monday, saying the show “will not be moving forward with another season.” The First Lady focused the wives of the presidents, with the plan to cover three administrations per season.

Results are still pending in Arizona’s Republican gubernatorial primary, though former Fox 10 Phoenix anchor Kari Lake leads her opponent Karrin Taylor Robson. It is unclear when a winner could be declared. Lake, backed by former President Donald J. Trump, holds a more than 11,300 vote lead over Robson with 80 percent reporting, the Associated Press election results compiled by the New York Times show. Lake has 294,260 votes versus Robson’s 282,936. In a tweet, Dave Wasserman of the Cook Report suggested Lake will come away with the nomination, though only one county is reporting more than 95 percent of its votes.

A 70-year-old San Francisco woman was brutally beaten by four attackers in broad daylight at her apartment complex. "They used their fist to hit my head multiple times and then they pulled me down and kept kicking me," the elderly lady, who wanted to be identified as Mrs. Ren, told KGO through an interrupter. Mrs. Ren had spent the last two years in her apartment over fears of COVID-19, opting to leave for the first time Sunday only to be met by a mob of attackers in the hallway of her apartment complex. "Yesterday was one of the first days for a long time she went out and this is what happened,"

Michigan Rep. Peter Meijer, one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Donald Trump over the US Capitol attack, lost in one of Tuesday's most closely-watched primary races against a Trump-backed candidate. The supermarket chain heir and military veteran formally conceded the race to John Gibbs after midnight in the race for Michigan's Third Congressional District. Meijer is one of three House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump who saw the end of his political careers on Tuesday evening, as Republican primary voters in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Washington went to the polls.
