America's baby formula shame: Biden's
53 flights of foreign back-up is only
enough to feed infants for a week... leaving
shelves still bare and forcing moms to
take matters into their own hands

America's baby formula shortage dominated headlines earlier this year when the Abbott plant, the country's largest manufacturer, suddenly shut down amid fears over contamination. There was round-the-clock coverage of the crisis and promises from the Biden administration that all red-tape would be slashed in order to feed babies and calm mothers' fears. But nearly six months later, the infant care shelves in drugstores around the US remain bare and this week, the shortage reached a new low with 28.5 percent of products now completely out of stock. Biden's solution has been to fly in foreign formula to try to plug the gap, but the 802,446 bottles

Comments:

The goal of the federal government is to spend us into complete insolvency and destroy our wealth, and on that front they're succeeding in spades, with no resistance along the way. No one calls out Transportation and Logistics Czar Mayor Butt because as a Gay man who is married to another Gay man, and who is going to be the Democrat nominee in 2024, he is immune from criticism. The FDA, which caused the problem, likely cannot be criticized because our federal agencies are sacrosanct.

Flying in ANYTHING is just a political stunt. Nobody uses air to do real shipping.....it's called "shipping" because it uses SHIPS. This was always political eyewash, never any sort of any thing real, as usual from the Dems.

#1, you are correct. Only the most urgent items use air freight, and even more so after the lack of air capacity out of China pushed many more customers into ocean freight services. Much of which will remain it seems as the air freight folks aren't able to generate the same volumes even with capacity coming back.

Where are all of the Proud Pussyhat Womyn raging in the streets, as they did over some offhand comment by Trump? Here we have an administration that is risking the lives of infants, in the real world, and no one raises a peep. Likely it's because the Pussyhat crowd prefers to have abortions, and because Barack's Civilian Army is mobilized only in matters that support The State.

FDA can fastrack multiple testings, approvals for half a dozen vaccine variants and mandate they be administered to children...in LESS time than it takes to inspect and clear for restart a baby formula plat that...it turns out...never had a contamination to begin with. Bidens "solution" to this "crises" has turned out just the way ALL of his 'crises solutions' have...it made things worse.

How can you expect Biden to figure out that specific babies need specific baby formulas when he has been in a brain fog since he assumed office! The Democrats claim they elected Biden, so he is their baby. Now all the Democrat have to do is figure out a formula to get rid of Biden before the upcoming November election and before the wimpy Republicans likely gain control of the Congress.

Exactly what is stopping us from making baby formula? It isn't that hard. Once upon a time, mothers did this. Perhaps they should pick up a cook book or get on the Internet and find out how. The ingredients they will use will probably be a lot healthier for their child anyway.

This serious crisis is approved by the Cult of Breastfeeding. Not every woman can and the children that suffer are left disfigured and handicapped for a lifetime. On the other hand, there is no discernable benefit in children who were fed formula vs breast milk. All loss, no gain. TECHNOLOGY is better! Just as any mRNA pusher... How about formula? It's precise and measured nutritional value has the highest level of quality control. Mother's milk that isn't full of drugs (some legal, many not) varies wildly and much of it would never pass the federal requirements that formula has to.

President Joe Biden likely has a highly contagious strain of COVID-19, but his moderate symptoms are improving, the White House doctor said in an update on Saturday. The variant, known as BA.5, is an offshoot of the Omicron strain that emerged late last year, and is now believed to be responsible for the vast majority of new coronavirus cases in the country. Dr. Kevin O´Connor, the president's physician, wrote in his latest update on Biden's condition that Biden's earlier symptoms, including a runny nose and a cough, have become 'less troublesome.' O'Connor's earlier notes following Biden's diagnosis on Thursday did not mention the sore throat or body aches.

A new study is challenging the long-standing theory that a lack of serotonin in the brain causes depression, as well as the value of antidepressants that are designed to address the problem. Researchers at the University College London said evidence doesn’t support the underlying idea, originated 60 years ago, that a “chemical imbalance” in the brain produces a lack of serotonin. That imbalance is what has long driven prescription drugs for antidepressants, known as selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs. Common examples of the drug are sertraline (Zoloft), fluoxetine (Prozac and Sarafem) and escitalopram (Lexapro).(Snip)“In fact, drug trials show that antidepressants are barely distinguishable from a placebo

The data behind the most influential theory of what causes Alzheimer's disease may have been 'manipulated', a damning scientific probe has claimed. Experts fear the allegedly falsified results have misled research over the last 16 years, potentially wasting billions of pounds of funding. A six-month investigation by Science, considered one of the world's most respected research journals, uncovered 'shockingly blatant' tampering of results in the seminal 2006 University of Minnesota study.
