This is so familiar. When my grandparents came to this country - - illiterate and penniless - - they were greeted by a parade in their honor - - and taken to the finest hotel in the city. Their every need - - food, clothing, medical care, entertainment - - was taken care of. I've heard the same story - - from nearly every friend and colleague I've ever had. Yes - - that's the way it was back then. Immigrants were treated royally by the taxpayers - - just as they are now.

Tourists decided to choose life (their own) and pass on the Big Apple - Dollywood is nicer. Now NYC has lots of available hotel rooms. They can be permanently booked to provide free housing to criminals from other countries paid for by taxpayers from other states. Mindboggling. Only conquered nations are ruled by a regime that hates them. The good news is that it's always followed by rebellion.
